Screams and sobs were heard throughout the temple, coming from the young Goddess within. Kella began screaming the instant she realized her father had already left without her. As Daray appeared by her side, she looked her kit over before asking her, "What is the matter, my little one?" Searching for bruises or cuts was unnecessary because Kella had been staring out the front temple door. Ah, I see… Daray thought to herself. For the first time since little Kella could travel, Cathal had gone to the mortal world without her.
Scooping her daughter up into her arms, Daray smiled at Kella. Already the screams had subsided to whimpers. "Kella, dear, there is no need to be so upset! Your father won't be gone long, as you should know," she cooed into the little one's ears. "Unfortunately, he will not be able to take you with him everywhere he goes, darling. There are some days in which he would rather travel alone. Also, I'm quite sure your father wanted to give his little girl time to spend with her mother." Although they were an ebil family, Daray was still quite affectionate towards little Kella, especially since she was the Angelique's first.
By now, Daray could see Kella's eyes stop tearing. With the tip of her finger, she tapped her daughter's little nose. "Besides, don't you enjoy your time with Momma? Oh, we could have such a good time, couldn't we?" With Kella propped up on her hip, Daray wandered on through the temple. "Hmm, how about we see what we can occupy ourselves with until your father returns. What say you, little one?" Kella's smile answered her question, so the search of mischief began.

The little deity was pacified for a few moments, but then she decided that she didn't want to have fun with her momma. No, she wanted to swing on her daddy's tail and watch him as he looked over the faesquirrels. She also wanted to play with them herself.
Kella looks over at her mom and pouts even more. How dare her daddy leave and not take her. This was unexceptable to the little deity, and she would tell her daddy so, when he returned. " Want daddy!" she stated in her most demanding voice, then stuck her lip out in the perfect pout.
She growled and wiggled out of her momma's arms and began to run around the temple again, throwing yet another fit. " No fun.. no fun at all" she wailed headed toward to door so she could find her Cathal.

Daray sighed at her daughter as she began to squirm. "Now Kella, you know you can't..." she began to say. Unfortunately the little Goddess had managed to escape her grasp, and ran off through the temple. Her wails echoed off the walls as she shot towards the door. Daray knew it would take a bit more to calm her child. Of course she wanted Cathal, but Daray was unsure of when he would return.
In a quick movement, Daray had reached the door just as Kella did. "My little one, please," she spoke soothingly. "You know you can't travel alone, and you know your father wishes us to stay here until his return." Taking a deep breath, the angelique reached down to her kit and smiled. "Shortly, he will be here, and we can all spend time together. Isn't that enough for today?" Slowly, she inched closer to little Kella to embrace her. "If you stay so upset, you will make yourself sick. And if you're sick, you won't be able to travel for quite a while. You don't want that, now, do you?"
