I found out many years ago... that it seems to be only around Michigan that people have ever heard of this. But I love it. No other ginger ale comes close. Everything else is WEAK tasting.... It's like... awesomeness. I didn't even consider it ginger ale because it was so gooooood. I considered it its own thing. xDD But yes... What do your states hold that aren't part of the waking world? Love it? Hate it? (((For the majority of people, they either love Vernors or hate it)))

Leyna Big Red and Whataburger <3 LMAO. I had to laugh. "Whataburger" xD NICE. I'd buy solely for the name, just once, to see if it held up to someone who's... so... proud? vanity? about the burger. lol. BUT APPARENTLY IT IS THAT GOOD. Cause it's around, right?

Texas only store. :] was privately run for ages. Started out in corpus and encompassed all of texas. But the lady who owned it started getting a bit too old for the game so she turned it over to ceo guys. They're starting to branch out to other states now. Slowly but surely, taking over the country xd http://www.whataburger.com/one_near_you.php

Uhh... in areas of South Jersey and near me here in Pennsylvania we have convenience stores called Wawa. Nice clean stores. And big, too. Like an upgraded 7-11.
I HEART THEIR SAMMICHES SOMETHING FIERCE. <3 Buffalo Bleu Chicken Wrap + large Icee = orgasmic.
Not sure of any sodas yet, but I'll give a shout if I see/try something. :B

d**k's. d**k's Drive-thru.
Not just Washington exclusive, but I'm pretty sure it only exists in Seattle.
Hilarious name if you're immature. Best ******** fries I've ever had.

California has In & Out burger stands. It's such a Godsend sometimes. It's burgers are delicious, and yet it's so cheap and simple to order. Sure there isn't the versatility as having fast food sides like salads, chicken, and so on, but it has the classic burger stand stuff down and perfect.
It also has a secret menu of sorts I guess.
I'm sure you've all seen the internet story of the man who tried to eat what I believe was a 33 x 33 burger. Technically at In & Out, there's no limit to how many patties you can get, so long as you order ahead of time and pay for it.
The man came close but came up short a few patties, then proceeded to puke on the way home

Hahaha, I was just talking to a Texas friend about Whataburger a few days ago! I thought he was saying "whats-it-called burger" like he forgot the name of the place. I still don't understand the hype over In & Out. But I'm not big on burgers, so that may be it.

Wendy's. Although it's not much to be proud of. Maybe it was good back when it started out in Columbus, but now it's just like every other crappy fastfood chain. The only one I hate more is Burger King, And apparently eating corn over your mashed potatoes is weird. We were talking about Thanksgiving food in one of my English classes and someone mentioned it. Our professor was like "You WHAT?" So we made him try it and he liked it. Although now I'm not sure how regional it is since KFC has those bowls with mashed potatoes, corn, chicken, and a biscuit now. Unless it's one of those regional foods some fast food places make. But then, I kinda doubt that. Our Arby's doesn't even have ******** onion rings. WHAT KIND OF ARBY'S HAS NO ONION RINGS? Hmm... Lee's Chicken, maybe? I've never seen a commercial for it in my life. But it's a hell of a lot better than KFC. From the sites I'm pulling up, it seems to still be fairly well contained to the Midwest, probably started in Indiana. Oh. And Conn's Potato chips. Ohioans who move out of state buy huge boxes of them to take back home. It's practically the only potato chip brand they carry in Zanesville. (Home of the Y bridge. Yay.) http://www.connschips.com/

Some people don't like their food touching, and some people like it.

other places HAVE dunkin donuts, but it's not a religion like it is in new england (and especially boston). there are 3 within 10 minutes' walk of my apartment, and i'm not in a major business area or anything.
the thing is it's kind of like the starbucks infestation in seattle and vancouver, but less yuppie, more working-class.
plus you get to call it "dunkie d's" or just dunkie's.
also, eating lobster like it isn't rich people food. there's other stuff, but my new england native sweetie is sleeping and i actually won't overlap with him being awake for more than like 10 minutes for the next 3 days, so maybe on monday i'll get you some more examples.

...I really dislike In'n'Out Burger. Never had a good experience there - I've always left feeling sick or slightly disgruntled.
Uh...the pizza place I work at started out in CA, and the majority of Pizza Factory stores are in CA still (although there's one in China, apparently). I've never ever seen a commercial for one, and everyone who comes into the one I work at says we've got the best pizza they've ever had. (My boss is so proud, 'cause some NY people claimed our pizza was better than NY pizza. *shrug* Apparently that's a big deal...)
Ohh! Also. The town I live in has this amazing store called Banyan Tree, and the only other place I've ever seen one is in the town next to us. They sell really pretty accesories and clothing, as well as some furniture. My friend got a gorgeous skirt from them that turns into a strapless dress, a halter top, a wraparound top, a shawl-type thing, and like ten zillion other things, too.
