Tarsonis narrowly dodges Alexis' attack. Well now, that was a little rude. Gliding back down to behind her, he decides to have a little fun considering she's being uncooperative. He twists her arm behind her back, making her drop her sword. Putting his other hand firmly on her chin to keep her from opening her mouth or biting his hand, he envelopes her in shadow, causing her to disappear. Tarsonis quickly pulls her back into a nearby alley, making sure the Tierran doesn't hear or see them. Firmly pressing her against the wall, he keeps her mouth securely shut. Tarsonis releases the cloak of shadows, revealing himself to her. "I am not your enemy, princess. I have been sent here to bring you back to our world. You are in terrible danger here." Tarsonis' tone, mocking just a moment ago, is chillingly serious.

Tarsonis breaths a sigh of relief, realizing the girl is more eager to know who she is than to kill him. Loosening his hold on her, he keeps one hand restraining her arm, just in case. "Where to start... my name is Tarsonis, vampire lord of of the house of Rivendare. I was sent by the emperor of our world, your father, to ensure your well being. You are a child of the shadow planet Geist, the most beautiful and dark world in the cosmos. No doubt you are beginning to realize the extent of your powers over the shadow. They have been awakened by a comet foretold of in prophecies, that has come at last. The comet foretells the downfall of our world, and others. That girl you were just speaking to, for instance, is from a world called Tierra, another planet in our galaxy." Letting out another sigh, Tarsonis rubs his eyes with his free hand. "Any more questions?" he says exasperatedly, a little annoyed he had to give such an extensive explanation.

Volker was in a full sprint now, running through the streets of the busy city. He wasn't sure exactly what was going on, but he intended to find out. He stood right infront of the base, looking up at the top floor. Volker straightened himself up and walked through the double doors to the main floor. "Hey," he said as he waved to the secretary at the front desk. He walked over to the elevator and set it to the top floor. The doors split apart, and Volker walked in. "What now?" he asked as he walked up behind Andejew.

Letting out a harsh laugh, Tarsonis steps back, smiling at the princess. "Perhaps... but you'll have to do something for me in return. My services aren't free... or cheap, for that matter." He puts a finger thoughtfully to his chin, considering what he can get out of her. His smile widens as he imagines the possibilities. "But that's a conversation best saved for later. For now, I'll leave you to consider my offer." With that, he envelopes himself in shadow once again, vanishing from sight. Floating over her head, he whispers, "I'll be around." Having adequately set the desired mood, Tarsonis tethers himself to her by a whisp of shadow and lies back in midair to take a bit of a nap. All the light on this world made him sleepy.

Volker just nodded as he listened to Andrejew explain what was happening. He had seen some of the people that Andrejew had talked about. As they walked walked into the cargo bay, Volker stood in awe as all the weapons came in vision. His jaw dropped, eyes widened, "May I?" he asked walking up to the wall. His eyes darted from side to side, floor to ceiling. "Amazing," he managed to muttered as he took a gun of the rack. "So, when do we start?" he asked Andrejew as he peered through the scope on the gun. "I can't wait!"

Andrejew's smile widens. He was correct in his assumption that Volker would be more than cooperative. His eyes were lit up like a child's on Christmas morning. "Ve started tvelve hours ago." Andrejew says as he pulls his remote out of his pocket. Pressing yet another button, he turns on a massive holographic screen that overlays an entire wall. Satellite images of the city are displayed from dozens of angles, all of them showing infrared, heat, and beta wave scans. Picking up a pair of com headsets from a counter, he tosses one to Volker and puts the other one in his own ear. "Alpha Sqvad, prep and go, moving out in 5 minutes." Andrejew announces over the com. Turning to Volker, he says, "You vill be commanding Alpha Sqvad for zis mission. The images you see are realtime scans of the city, designed to specifically target unregistered life forms." Pushing yet another button on his handy remote, the computer runs a trace program, a crosshair sweeping rapidly across the screen. It stops at a particular spot, zooming in on a building. A highlighted human figure is displayed with a text box coming off of it, reading 'Subject 09A'. The other satellites target the position as well, sweeping the point with each individual scan. Every figure in the room becomes highlighted. "Ah, zis appears to be an excellent place to begin. Ze scans show zree alien humanoids, as vell as a reptile zat does not exist in ze database. A previous test subject appears to have led us straight to zem." Andrejew smiles as he looks at the satellite image. As he completes the briefing with Volker, Alpha Squad piles into the truck. Andrejew pushes a series of buttons on his remote. The doors close, and the coordinates of the aliens are sent to the AI piloting the truck. As the mobile base lets out a loud growl and lurches forward, Andrejew puts in a few more words. "Zese subjects are extremely dangerous, and extremely fragile. Ze upmost caution is to be taken in detaining them with minimal force. You should find zese materials to be more zan adequate." Andrejew gestures to the assortment of weapons on the wall behind him. Finished with his briefing, he steps into the small compartment at the front of the truck, his office. Bringing up the satellite image on his computer, he sits back in his chair. Reading the words 'Subject 09A' several times, he whispers quietly to himself, "Zephyr..."
