...Oh, errand boy was back. And he said he was in charge, huh? Esouna quirked an eyebrow, then sat up.
"Good for you. Do you know where everything is now?" she asked. She crossed her arms over her midsection idly.

(lulz, thanks for keeping me informed. little distracted, if you catch my drift) "I have a map now, and I know where my room is now." He said as he grabbed a glass of tea he was holding up till now and took a slip slowly.
"And don't be so suprised, my age is quite decieving..." He said...

She didn't make any assumptions about his age. "How old are you" never went through her mind when talking to a Gaian; it was too hard to tell when they were of a different species. She relaxed again and smirked. "I'm still hungry," she hinted. "Is there a kitchen on the map?" Esouna adjusted her pillow idly to make it more comfortable.

"About 2 millenia, and here's a copy..." He said as he sipped his tea calmly. "But I expect you back here in about an hour, I need to a run through of injuries and such..." He said in a calm tone as he relaxed...

Note to self: possibly a mind reader. Esouna took the map copy and looked over it. Hmm...aha, there. "I'll be back," she promised, and the fairy flew out of the infirmary to go raid the fridge/pantry/whatever.
Frankly, she'd be there a while.

What was taking her so long?
After a almost an hour, Esouna finally made her way back to the infirmary. Thank goodness for her strong wings, because she had to have been a few pounds heavier than when she initially left. The fairy looked pregnant--a grotesque consequence of her species's metabolism. She landed a few feet from her pillow and walked the rest of the way, finally taking a seat. Her smirk had turned into a smile of contentment, showing that her mood had improved. "You said something about injuries?" she brought up.

Mao smiled slightly, "Pretty punctual if I say so myself, and as for the injuries, I need to see what I can do about any injuries or spots of pain. Please feel free to grab a seat and point out you're injuries..."

She was already sitting on that pillow, so she didn't need to get up. Esouna pointed to a few deep bruises on her thighs, making sure not to touch them. "Here. And here," she added, turning around somehow and sweeping her hands over the various shallow puncture wounds. The most dangerous-looking one sat right where her left sensory wing met her skin, damaging the ligaments. She turned back around, then winced and put her hand over her left set of ribs. "I don't know which one, but I think it's broken." Lack of experience showed with that statement--no telltale bumps suggested a break, so it was probably just a fracture. Then again, her shirt was covering that.

Mao grabbed the medical tools around him, but noticed there wasn't any supressents to take her out cold.
"I'm sorry, but this is going to hurt. So try and stay still..." He said as he looked first at the serious injury in the left sensory wing and began to start with applying disinfectant and worked into stiching the wound. He worked fast, but the process was long.
"So, where are you from?" He asked as he worked into the upper stiches. He was nearly finished with the first injury.

Whait, whaOWOWOW. Esouna grippedthe pillow and gritted her teeth, taking pained breaths. Getting a spike jammed through her skin repeatedly didn't feel a lot like healing.
"Out on an island," she spoke quickly. She paused a moment before continuing, trying to deal with getting stitched up. "That's whe--AAAGH--where the rest of my kind is," she continued, being interrupted by a particularly painful stitch. Mao must have hit a nerve or something.
Whenever he finished that wound, a fewof the less serious ones spread across her sensory wings, and the least dangerous simply lay on the regular skin of her back.

"Interesting, I was raised in Japan, but I don't look the part do I..." He said as he finished the stitch. "Don't worry, that was the worst of the stitches, all the rest should be much less painful..." He said as he took out a small puncture wound quicky from the inside to make it less painful. He worked quickly, knocking out small, quick stitch injuries as he spoke to her.
"So, who taught you to fight?" he asked as he finished his 4 th small individual stitch

Her tension remained, although less pronounced. It still hurt. "I took a class, but everything after that a learned myself," she half-lied. She acquired her magic from an old monk-type guy, but she didn't consider that "fighting". Fighting was the techniques used to beat up the other guy.
"And you?" she questioned.

"The monks that enlightened me on Buddhism and took care of me helped keep me in shape. And since we often had guests in the monastary, including Samurai, they often repaid the favor with lessons or gifts. Its how I got the sword..." He said as he finished all the puncture wounds. He then wents to grab some disinfectant, light and heavy bandages as he applied them to the rest of the wounds and the stiches.
He finished his work. And then put away his equipment. He looked at the time to find it took him only a couple of hours.
"There you are, finished. Just take easy for now..." He said as he cleaned his bloody utensils.
"Just come back to get rebandaged every now and again..."

A few hours of needle stabbing made Esouna very sore and strung-out by the end of it. She shifted and lay face-down, supported a bit by her belly, then sighed. "Okay," she agreed, then crossed her arms and rested her head on them.
