Maddy sat up and walked over to him, turning his face to hers she kissed him again. She snirked triumthidly. "You always try and do that to me when your trying to hide something..And if your not well i'm not apologizing for doing that to you. You diserve it.." She smiled and threw the blanket at him as she laid down on her bed, she was postivly stupid for giving him her conferter, she laid shivering ocassionaly on her bed.

Kevin tried to pull back as she kiised him, but he was to late. rubbing his lips, he replied. "Ugh... You know, one of these days..." Than he realized that she was on her bed. The blanket was uncomfortable to him, he never felt cold and under the blanket, he was too hot but he didn't want to be impolite and refuse it. He heard Maddy shivering, he grinned and knew he had a reason to take it off. Standing up with the blanket, he handed it to her. "Take it." He said simply before dropping it on the bed and returning to the floor with the pillow.

Maddy smiled. "One of these day's you'll what? Start to enjoy it?" She smirked and nodded a thanks taking her blanket back she wrapped it around herself. "And one of thoes day Kevin, you'll annoy me so much I'll supper glue our skin together so you'll be stuck with a warm body next to you, since I don't mind the cold, it'll be your issue not mine.." She grinned trumpthidly and turned, her back to him.

Kevin grimaced. "You wouldn't dare..." Staring at the ceiling, he sighed and tried counting sheep, that didn't work either. Not that he was usually able to get to sleep, but he wanted to... Just in case he had to do some chasing tomorrow. Turning over, he pressed his face into the pillow and forced his breathing to slow. Ugh..... Why can't I get to sleep...?

"Wanna' bet?" Maddy smiled as she turned around to face Kevin, his face was burried in the pillow. "You okay?" She whisperd as she crawled out of her bed and she knelt by him. "Kevin." She gently rolled him over.

Kevin sighed as he was rolled over. "Yes... I'm fine, why?" He rubbed his eyes and looked up at Maddy. "Yea?" He asked as he head his name called. Sitting up, he looked over at her. "What's up?"

"Oh, sorry for waking you Kevin, I uh thought something was wrong. Well I'm sorry and uh good night." Maddy then rolled him back over and krept to her window, climbing the ladder higher she sat on the roof and looked at the stars, it was a beautiful sight. Maddy sighed as she thought of how many nights her brother and her has spent up there, just talking about what'd they'd do once they'd escaped.

Kevin sighed and roled over, not noticing that Maddy was gone until he heard something hit the ceiling above him. Standing up, he looked at her empty bed and chuckled slightly. He saw that the window was open now. Sticking his head out and looking down at the road, he saw that she wasn't down there and there was only one other direction. Climbing up the creaky metal stairs, he peeked over the ledge and laughed. "I thought I was the one that was supposed to be sneaking out in the middle of the night."

"I thought YOU were supposed to be sleeping." Maddy smiled and helped Kevin up. "I have a sleeping disorder, I haven't slept since I was five years old.." She smiled lightly as she patted the space next to he rhoping he'd sit and not complain. "I'm a night person anyways, even before I had the sleeping disorder I was asleep all day and up all night."

I was trying to get to sleep, but I couldn't." Instead of taking the spot next to her, kevin sat down a couple feet away. Friining slightly as she described her sleeping disorder, he decided to make a joke out of it. "Oh, so you are crazy..." Chuckling slightly at his own creation, he leaned abckwards until his back was up against the ground. "Whoa... There's a lot of stars here..." Kevin had never taken the time to really look at the stars before. When you were in the shadows,they were always shrouded.

"Yeah I'm so insane...At least I don't talk to snakes and I don't controll or have things to do with shadows.." She shot back as she pulled Kevins arm, dragging him closer. "You have a crappy view from where your laying. You can see them better from here." maddy let go and laid back down beside where she had placed him. "This was my favirote part of my sleeping disorder, I could watch the stars and see the things that the people that were sleeping never really saw. It takes nothing to look at something, btu to appreicate the beauty and understand it..Takes alot."

Kevin frowned at her rebuke. "Ugh... Fine." He said as he was forced to lay down next ot her. She couldn't stop him from inching away. He didn't like being so close to people, it made him feel vulnerable. Sighing as he watched the sky, he began to grow impatient, he didn't have the patience required to watch the tiny pinoints of ligt flicker. "Erm... How do you just lay there and stare at them?" He asked, sitting up. "They're so boring..." Not being able to figure out the point of it, he put his hand under his chin and waited for some response from Maddy.

"Fine fine fine," Maddy got up and pulled him down to where she was. She sat a few inchs behind his head. "It's easy, I like looking at the shapes, and finding things. Like I can see small things like hearts and actully I can make a picture of the reaper.." She grinned tryuhmpthidly. "But fine we'll go to bed. " Maddy sighed as she climbed down the ladder. "Oh and if your having issues sleeping, try sleeping in my bed, I like the floor.."

Sighing as he was pulled towards Maddy, Kevin listened to her talk about the stars. "Oh...erm... How interesting?" Not seeing any logic in trying to find shapes in the sky, he afrred and quickly followed back to her room. "I really don't care," he said with a shrug, "I don't usually sleep that much anyways." Frowning slightly as he jumped into the window, he glanced at the snake which was hanging around a pipe on the ceililing. "What the hell...?"

Maddy smiled. "Yeah yeah yeah, i know you don't care, sorry if I'm boring you to tears Kevin, and I'm not some superiour person liek yourself.." She rolled her eye's as she pushed him into her bed, changing the pillows and grabbing the blanket she curled up on the floor. She sighed darkly. "I think I'm gonna go to bed uh now, so night."
