Not being answered Kevin noticed Thakorise walk of towards another one of the rooms, So she sleeps here with the guests. Kevin took a mental note as he once again surveyed his surroundings. Not feeling that she wasn't returning he leaned closer to Carlos, "You realize, as much as she denies it, she's as cold hearted as she doesn't want to be."

Carlos watching Thakorise leave as well looked at Kevin wondering why he wanted to talk privately. Hearing this comment he nodded in agreement. "I noticed as well," he said softly. "But what does it matter," he continued, "as long as we get paid well right?" He picked up a small mint that lay on the coffee table between Kevin and him. "And...well...I think I like her a little."

Kevin gave him a confused look, "You hear what she's about to do to her fiance and you like her?" he said emphasizing the word like with extreme confusion. "Have you lost your mind?"

"Well, I know what she's doing..." he started. With a small pause he continued, "But she did ask for us, well me mainly. You're just along with me." He gave a half smile, more to try and convince himself than Kevin.

Kevin shook his head, "She only wanted you because she couldn't get the Crepsley brothers. That, and with her keen observing skills, obviously saw how easily she can manipulate you. I saw her down stairs, she clearly had a distaste for me because I demanded things when she probably thought she could have easily had you say yes." Shaking his head again. "I guess I'll," he said emphasising that last word, "think about this while we sleep." They stood up and entered their corresponding rooms pointed out earlier. Before closing the door behind him, Kevin said, "Good Night Carlos."

(I sincerely apologize for losing track of this roleplay. I honestly thought for awhile that I could do this kind of thing, but romance isn't my thing. At least, pure romance that is. I just find it way too dull (and besides, I've got a girlfriend in real life, so yeah xp ). But yeah, I think I might drop out of this one. Sorry! crying )

(Well I shall await Valenarr's post before making my own. That will let me know whether or not I can play stalker still.)

Carlos lightly rolled in his bed, moving in and out of sleep. According to his watch, which was next to his bed, it was nearly noon and Carlos just wanted to sleep through the whole day. Closing his eyes again he heard a knock from his door. Groaning he places the pillow over his head and says aloud, "I don't want to go to school. Two more hours."

Trying to be quiet but forceful, Kevin says through the door, "Get up you lazy p***k." He turned around towards Thakorise's door which was still closed. Kevin stayed up most of the night and knows that she hasn't left her room yet. A sound was heard downstairs, Probably a maid. "Get up I want to check this place out," he says as he knocks on the door a little louder.

Carlos threw his pillow off of his head at the door. It made a very small sound as it hit the door. Carlos sat up and then stared at the mirror, his hair was messy and his eyes were slightly red from fatigue. Standing, he stretched and yawned. Pulling a comb from his left pocket he started to comb his hair or at least straighten it. Hearing another knock he yells back, "I'm coming, I'm coming." Opening the door he saw Kevin's dissapointed face. "What?" he said half laugh, "I'm up now."

Sighing loudly Kevin said, "Let's go before Thako..." he ended shortly as he heard the shower go off from Thakorise's room. Damnit, she's up now. Grabbing Carlos he said, "Come on." They left the living room area and started downstairs.

Carlos now keeping up was suddenly jerked back. "Hey what was..."

Kevin placed his hand over Carlos' mouth and pointed with the other one towards Ketrin. "That one girl from yesterday is still here," he whispered as he saw her drinking a cup of red liquid. Quietly he led Carlos down the stairs trying to stay out of sight but not looking too conspicous in case someone happened to come.

(( Gah! Many apologese for my absence, early work hours, other rp's, mmorpgs, art, music, writing etc. I'm just a little mentally fatigued right now.))

Liam spent most of the night driving around the city ensuring that he was not followed by anyone. He did not drive around that often so he did not think that anyone would think to see him in a car.
As it was it had turned to morning and he could see his destination before him. ((May I safely assume it is morning now?)) It was a run down parking garage in a part of the city where not even criminals would exist seeing as how there was absolutely nothing of value left.
As he pulled into the parking garage he went to the lowest level where barely any lights were on. But he could make out a car parked at the end in the dimly lit area. He kept his car several feet away from the other that was parked and slowly got out.
Liam could see a darkly shadowed man who he knew was Dave. LIke many other meetings, Liam never knew the man's real name, seen his face, or what his connection was with many other criminals ion the city. But the man always provided good info which has helped in the past.
Dave lifted up his right hand whyich contained a folder which looked to be full of documents, and tossed it at Liam's feet.
Liam quickly scooped it up and looked at the some of the contents inside. It had a list of names of those that could provide info on Chen, and most likely other dirt going on in the city. Besides the list there was documentation and background history on each.
" This is alot more than what I usually get from you Dave ... normally I would have to pay to get half of this kind of info ..."
" I'm leaving the city, its not safe for me anymore ... might even leave the country. I did this because men like Chen need to be taken care of ... I don't want money for this ... just a promise it will be put to good use."
" It will ..."
Liam watched Dave enter his vehicle and leave the parking garage, thankful that he had gotten this much info. As he got back into his own car he could not help but notice that one of the names was familiar to him. One was a man he intended to see today, a strange coinsidence was that he met the man's daughter Thaokorise the previous night. What gave him a little shock was another lawyer and o his info sheet was a photo of thakorise ... in black letters below the picture was "fiance".
well now ... things are getting interesting now aren't they ... guess I will be paying thakorise a visit sometime soon ...
