Kikyo looked from Alex to Lilan. She pointed at him.
"What's that? "she asked, looking at the creature. She didn't know if that kind of thing was normal, but she assumed not, because of how Alex was struggling to try and act normal around it.

Alex gave a fake smile. 's**t.' "Oh, this guy? This is Lilan. It's, um...it's a...he's...a...um..." The smile disappeared each stutter. Eventually she looked up with a perplexed look. "I don't actually know. He's our pet, but he scares people pretty often, so..." She set him back on the ground and he slid off somewhere.

Kikyo looked at Lilan.
"I don't find him scary at all..." she said, studying him a little. She wasn't sure if she had seen something like him in books, or if she was just thinking random thoughts that were pairing themselves with another thought.

Alex nodded. "Of course, you've never left your home before. I guess finding him scary comes from being bathed in normality. Something like that." She blinked, then looked at Kikyo. "You wanted something?"

Jet BrodyJet watched the argument between the two heroes, Mia and Silver. Mia talked about how she murdered others to save people. He shook his head in disagreement. Even if she was being an assassin to these people, it wouldn't change anything. The only thing she was doing was opening up a job position to someone new.
He pushed himself off the building he was leaning against and walked up to her from behind. "Your senseless murders do nothing and aren't justified," He said, looking up to the sky. "The people who die from the products choose to do so and CEO's are easily replaced."

He walked through the street, shooting a shard of metal through the occasional passerby. He sneered in disgust. These people were so weak and stupid. They needed guidance. His guidance.
As long as there were heroes around though, this would be a nearly impossible goal to accomplish. He was hoping to lure one out. So they could bring him to "justice"
Coop Enders
Coop turned his head to the couple who had suddenly just appeared on the roof. He cocked his head to the surprise in a bit of surprise. He walked closer to them, removing the shroud of shadows from himself. He didn't say anything, just stood there looking to them.

As any protective brother would do, he stepped up first when the guy showed himself and stood there, firmly and tall. "Who are you?" he asked curiously, looking at the guy. He didn't want anything happening to his beloved sister, Hikari... The blindness was enough for him to blame himself for... He did not need her blood shed on his watch...
Hikari stepped up, hearing the movement of the person not too far from her. She then heard her brother's voice from in front of her and she smiled to herself. Hikaru was always troubling himself over her... It almost made her feel guilty, but she tried her best to be independent, so that he didn't have to worry to much. "Hikaru, I think it's okay... If he was going to hurt us, he would have already, yes?" she said, assuming the person before them was a man due to the musky smell that radiated from his person.
She stepped up, arms out, as if to begin to feel around, though she thought twice about it, and instead, put her arms down. She walked slowly up to the man and reached up, her hand brushing the side of his cheek.

Coop Enders
At least the brother was smart. He knew not to trust Coop. He gently raised his hand stop the girl's and pushed it away.
"Name's Coop," He said. His slacked demeanor showed that he was easy-going. He looked the brother in the eyes, with an expression that seemed to tell him to relax. "And no, I'm not your enemy. Yet, at least. Given the right price I could be though." He smirked smart-aleckly.

Hikaru straightened up a little, his demeanor a bit more calmed down. "She was trying to figure out what you look like... It's the only way she can do that..." he said softly, watching his sister's fallen facial expression. She was young and didn't understand the concept of being hurt, perhaps? Naive, he definitely knew she was, and so he shrugged it off.
Hearing the guy's comment he laughed a little. "Look... I don't care if I'm your enemy... As long as you never hurt my sister, we're on good terms," he said, stepping up to stand beside his sister. "I'm Kaoru Takahashi... My sister, Aiko, calls me Hikaru, though. I would suggest using Kaoru to refer to me, though," he said with a nod of his head as he held out his hand for the guy to shake.
Hikari felt instantly defeated when she felt the hand push her away. She heard his name, Coop, and thought it was funny... She laughed a little, but not out loud, for fear of offending him. "Given the right price, anyone can be sold and bought these days..." she said in a monotoned voice that gave off an air of seriousness... Her eyes, always blank. "But not Hikaru!" she picked it up, realizing the mood she had fallen into for a moment. She patted her brother on the head.
She then turned to the guy once more. "As he said, I'm Aiko, his sister... But he calls me Hikari," she said, smiling. "You're a neutral," she stated in a matter of fact sort of way. She already knew he had powers, for she was at least able to sense them. She just wasn't sure what he was capable of yet...

"Um...no thanks." Kikyo replied, looking from Lilan to Alex again. She then shrugged a little, deciding that normalness was crazy.

Plague frowned slightly at the conversation. He looked at Silver, "Being what we are, super-beings, means that we are not humans. You should know that. Those people don't consider us human, I learned that after I defended myself from two humans trying to injure me." he said cooly. Plague looked from Mia to Silver, "Don't defend them just because you think you are one."

 Mia looked from Silver to Plague, and back, wondering if Silver would fight him rather than her. She had no time to wait, though, she could tell from the sun's position in the sky that it was about time she got ready for her appearance in the real world. I usually change right by my bike after a mission, but now there's a problem... I risk losing my secret identity if I do it in front of everyone else, she pondered as she looked around for an answer.
"Alright, well, I'd love to stay and chat, but really, honestly, I have to get going. My job is calling for me," Mia stated as she walked over to her bike and strapped on her full faced helmet. She flipped the visor up real quick to say goodbye, and straddled her bike, kick starting it to feel the beast rumble beneath her. "See ya! Oh, and feel free to stop by RED. It's a pretty cool bar, and there's this girl there that's an AWESOME bartender. Ciao!" and after advertising her bar, she sped off to a public restroom.

Plague looked at the sky, "I have to leave as well..." he muttered, turning away from Silver and walking slowly back to the manhole he had come out of a second ago. Plague slowly walk through the sewers to the ladder leading to his home. He climbed up and walk to his bathroom. Aaron slowly took a shower and prepared himself for the day. He dried his hair and brushed it, then he brushed his teeth and got dressed. Aaron grabbed his wallet and checked to make sure he had his fake I.D. and left what he called his house. It was actually an old building the city wasn't going to demolish. Aaron walked to the bar Mia had mentioned, RED and sat down in a barstool.

Silver stood for a moment, and she almost called after Jet, but she felt to pained to do so. So, she jumped off into the air and sped towards her apartment. She slipped in through her window softly and blow-dried her hair. She pulled on her civillian clothes and grabbed her bill-fold. She turned to her window, but remembered she was a human now and took the stairs down and out of the building. Her mind flashed back to what Mia had said and she thought of the bar she'd mentioned, RED, was it? She walked in silence, but her mind was far from silent, memories of her troubled teen years flashing back to her in full color. Before she knew it, she was deep into the city and RED was in her line of veiw. She wandered in and plopped down on a cool stool. She took a glance around and waited.
