I just realized that we don't have anything in our title about accepting co-hosts right now. There was a new member who was looking for a place to be plugged in, and I want to let any other new member know that we need people. Crystal, do you think we should change the title to let people know that we're still accepting applications? I have become aware that I am now the only host without crew abilities. Angel said that you could choose a replacement, but I'm wonder if she wasn't happy with the choice. sweatdrop

How often are you on gaia: 6/8 hrs on weekends, and usually 4/7 days of the week. Weekends and late nights are my speciality...
Previous experience in the ball: First timer
Why do you want to be a co-host: It'd be a learning experience and I love to chat the night away...I have participated in many role-plays.
Why should you be chosen for a Co-Host Position: I am kind, fun, and commited. I love acting and role-playing is the same but with words...
In three words describe yourself: (This may seem silly but it will help later.): Mad (as in crazy), Loveable, Artistic

Ah question question! What are the sin/virtues genders?!
Maybe SLoth wants to look nice for this ball thing whether its to impress the ladies or fellas and recruits Zeals help....
But as we know Sloth is lazy as a day is long. But maybe not if we keep him engaged in activites? It could be rp-ers/attendees job to make sure they keep Sloth on his toes....For if not he may slumber and waking him up would be like trying to wake a bear.
Also if he does fall asleep can we have a mini game something like Sloth's Slumberland?
A dice roll game wher we have to get through various obstacles to get back to reality...
Since Sloth is a Sin maybe he makes others fall into slumber also?
For Sloth prizes we could hand out nighties/plushies, etc associated with sleep?
I could draw pjs for you guys to raffle off!
For Zeal I like this whole coffee thing floating around...
A coffee shop?! IDK ideas n my head are sometimes the working of a monkey and random words on a dart board....

Sloth is always wanting to “take it easy,” and never go out of the comfort zone. Sloth is not considering making a sacrifice for someone else; not paying attention to the needs of the others. In short, sloth is irresponsible: it’s an aversion to physical and spiritual work.

Wow, Ink! That's some great stuff! I especially love having Sloth have a fear of snakes. xd
We still haven't gotten the main plot yet (though they said we would have it months ago), so we're still in limbo about characters and room plot. As soon as the main plot is announced, we can get busy on it. And, we will have to move fast! I have a feeling that we will be making and re-making the plot a few times before this thing is over. Actually, if I remember correctly, some rooms were re-writing their room plot DURING the ball last time. rofl
If Crystal doesn't have any objections, I think that you will be our new co-host! biggrin

In the meantime, you're definitely right. Title shall be changed! Thanks! Our new title looks great! biggrin I haven't heard too much from Angel since she started college. It really keeps you busy! Maybe that's why she hasn't promoted me yet. I'll PM her about it. We need to both be able to update Lectern's posts in this thread. I just thought of this, but are we going to have a room planning guild? We had one when I worked in the Celebration room last time, and I joined the Wrath one before coming here. I don't think there's any need for one now, but it would help organize all of the art, plot, avi's, games, etc. I just wasn't sure if all the rooms usually had a guild or not. And, thanks to Ink, I have just thought of something important. How are we going to manage guild funds? Are we going to use one of our mules or do you think we should create a room mule to hold the gold, prizes, etc? I also had another idea for gaining room funds. We could just play the marketplace, and make some gold that way. There are definite price trends that we could use to make mountains for this room without having to do too much planning.

XD I'm impressed, Ink. Tons of ideas straightaway! No objections here; glad to have you on board!
Yeah, I remember Panda telling me that during the 7th Annual Ball, it was a lot of improv for the Castle Room, so we may have the same situation. I hope we can get everything done before then, though. Angel's last annoncement said the plot should hopefully be done soon. =D
I don't think it's absolutely necessary to make another guild right now, but it does have some benefits. I think that at least until we get more people confirmed for the Sloth Room, we can keep everything here. We might have one for updates, though, I suppose.
Do you have a mule you'd like to use for guild funds? I would rather not make an extra mule just for the sake of funds. We may have to make plot mules, though. I would rather not make any mules at all, though... XD
I think that the marketplace should be something to compliment our other fund-raising efforts. If we fundraise through art auctions/shops/etc, it also gets us more publicity for the ball and our room, which is always good. But since we're probably in desperate need of money either way, yes! It is an awesome idea. ^_^

Lmao it doesn't matter to me at all...Was just brainstorming.
Somebody mentioned FMA earlier...Now I haven't watched a lot but isn't Sloth in the manga a big burly muscular guy and in the anime its a woman who the Elrics thought was there Mom and she ven had some memories of mothering?
IDK kinda off topic.
But darn if we had that plot we could get some stuff really going that way....
Funds funds funds first I suppose!
I'll work with other people in an art shop if you all want to start something in that route?

Actually, Spotted, we still haven't decided whether I'm going to be Sloth or if Crystal is. It doesn't matter much to me either way. I just hope we can get the plot soon so we can get it all off the ground!
@Crystal - I didn't think we needed a guild immediately. I just thought that when things got a bit more complex that it might be helpful. Conversely, we could post all of the plot updates and stuff in Lectern's posts on the front page. The only thing we couldn't do in this thread is make test threads to work out all of the kinks for designing the layouts for the room and the games involved. Oh! And guess what! I got a random PM from serious RPer who wanted me to do a plug for her RP guild in a guild that I own. I told her about the Annual Ball, and she said she wants to join up! We could very well be getting another co-host! xd This is a very good week for co-hosts. blaugh I do believe that with the addition of one more person who can definitely be co-host, we should be pretty good with numbers. We have a couple people who are still not sure because of schedules, and the rule of averages says that half of them will be able to do it.
I have one mule that I use to hold guild funds and contest prizes for Vetus Gaianus. I technically own two guilds, but the other one only has three active members aside from myself. sweatdrop (We pretty much just chat about anime and video games in one thread, and leave the rest alone.) I tend to ramble a lot, don't I? Anyway, I have that mule, but I would be kind of worried about getting guild funds mixed up with ball funds. I have a friend who acted as an NPC in the last ball for me during a game that needed monsters in it. She has four mules, and I'm fairly sure she would let us use one of them for the ball. I can ask her. She might even be interested in doing NPC work for us again.

Why do you want to be a co-host: I love roleplaying and this seems very fun ^^ I've only been doing it for less than a year, but I think this is a good opportunity to grow as a writer.

@Chibi: That is true! I think I'm just worried that we won't have enough co-hosts...but that doesn't seem to be as much of a problem anymore, thankfully! That's awesome that she wants to join! I guess the guild can be made soon, if/once everything comes together. =D
And that sounds even better! If she says, no, then it's okay, we'll figure something out. Worst-case scenario is that one of us ends up holding the funds either on our own accounts and going by the honor system, or we just make a mule. Neither of those two options sound too horrible, though.
Now we just really need to get the main plot! The roles of Sloth and Zeal don't matter to me, either. Which would you rather have, or which could you better imagine yourself as? I could see myself being both...this is hard. XD
@Ink: You're an artist, then? That'd be pretty helpful! If you know any other people or friends that are artists, you could maybe coordinate something with them.
