"You sure?" He murmured softly and nudged her chin. Karver licked her cheek and sighed thankful for the help of the other lioness. Karver sighed and licked at Hope's cheek. "You know..Hope...I..." He tried to tell her how he felt but sighed. He was afraid of what her reaction would be. Karver stretched and looked over at her.

"you what" She said looking up at Karver with curious brown eyes, sadness lost for now, her ears perked as she tilted her head.

"I..." He pawed at the grass infront of him nervously. Hope was everything to him, and if he confessed his feelings for her, things would not be the same for them, good or bad. He looked into her dark brown eyes, his silver ones searching hers. "Hope..." He gulped, took a deep breath, then blurted out. "I think I'm in love with you!" Karver then closed his mouth shut and looked down at his paws. Now what?

Fayola sighed as she continued to watch the unconcious lioness. This was boring...Gaining her paws once again she set out to explore the oasis and some of the land beyond it.

Li Na had noticed that Fayola volunteered to watch the cub. She took her kill by its throat and started to drag it back to the near the cave. She heard Ilice a while back but she said nothing more, Li Na was wondering if this was a blessing or was the smooth talker trying to play with her mind. But right now she was only thinking about filling up her own stomach. She was by the cave and took a quick look around before tearing out a big chunk of red fresh meat and grinding, ripping and tearing it between her teeth.

The cub saw Li Na, and a wave of relief washed over her by seeing someone on the middle of her previous desolation. Standing on not too sure paws, it gave Li Na enough silent time to have her kill, trying to follow as close as she could as the lioness passed by towards the cave. The pride seemed to have so many lions... Or so the cub believed as she saw the rest of the pride. Never had she been in contact with so many of them, nor did she know it was a pride, her tail, previously wrapped around her, let loose to freely swing behind her.

((I totally missed this post XD sorry XD)) A large weight lifted off the lioness' shoulders, and she smiled, and her eyes sparkled, "you do? Really? Because I feel the same way about you! I just,..never thought you'd ever think of me as more than a companion!" She said as she nudged Karver's cheek with her nose.

Karver looked into Hope's eyes for a moment dazed by what she said. A small smile crept onto his muzzle as he slowly nudged his nose with hers. "Now..why would I think of a beautiful lioness such as yourself a companion, huh? Hope...I think of you more than that...I just didn't know what you would think of me.." He closed his eyes for a moment as he breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that the world was now off his back and giving him space. Karver opened his eyes and gazed back at Hope smiling, his eyes filled with swirling emotions that he had for her.

Hope layed down at Karver's feet and rolled onto her back. She raised her front paws to paw at him playfully, "Cause you were just a tiny lil thang when we first met, and you grew up with me around,..." She said with enlongated accent, "I figured you'd think it odd, and ol' girl like me likin' you like I do," She let a paw lay on his nose for a bit, before she stopped and rolled over to her side, and looked to the multi-colored young lioness in the water.
"What are we to do about her? She obviously cares for you too, or else she wouldn't have risked her life to come all this way,..." At least, that's what Hope suspected, and she didn't know how this,...situation would be handled.

He stretched and slightly chuffed at her paw. Slowly looking over at Pastel he stifled a sigh and managed to speak. "Hope, I have no idea what we are going to do. Pastel just came up out of the blue to see me..." He looked down at the ground awa from Hope. "She can stay, but I'm making it clear who I love." Karver leaned over and nudged Hope softly on the snout. He then looked over at the other lioness in the water. "She should of woken up by now...I don't want a dead lioness here." Suddenly, his ears flicked back and a faint feeling came over him. "Hope...Do you think...Moyo is ok? I know that Leanna was there with him, but..Oh I dunno, I just think something happened." He sighed this time and licked his paws.

Hope nodded understandingly, then replied to his worries about Moyo, "Hmn,..I dunno. I guess we could go check, but we should make sure everything will be alright here first,... Despite her first initial jelousy of the light multi-colored female, she did show some concern for her health.

Karver nodded. Throwing his head back, he roared out into his lands calling his pride together. The King needed to chat with them a bit before they left on their trip to Moyo's. Finishing the call, he looked over at Hope and smiled. "I think the lioness are old enought o be left alone here. Besides, Fayola is an adult now." He moved over to his beloved and licked her cheek. "You worry too much, motherly Hope." He chided at her and grinned his lopsided grin.

Hope chuckled, "Someone has to worry,..." She replied with a nuzzle.
She wanted to see how things were with Moyo and his pride, but as she said, someone had to assist in watching over the others on this pride.

((I hate working @_@)) She glanced over her shoulder noticing the cub had followed her back into the pride. She grunted and swallowed the last piece of food in her mouth, letting it slowly run down her throat. She turned her attention back to the carcass yet again tearing out a few chunks of meat before dropping some before the cub. "I don't normally like to share food, just take it before I change my mind." she said in a cold voice. She trailed away a couple feet from the cub and carcass to give some space between the two. Li Na raised up her bloody paw and started to lick off the blood.

Being hungry, with a piece of good, delicious meat in front of her pinkish nose, she just couldn't resist but start eating it up, showing her small, pointy teeth on a happy grin before digging in. So, it was still a cub, but not so young she still fed on milk. Li Na's coldness didn't even affect her the slightest bit, bouncing off her young mind the second the lioness said it. So, after finishing the pieces, she happily padded to the huntress, tackling Li Na lightly and rubbing her little head against her side. "Sissy!!!" she said, purring. Yup, Li Na has just been labelled as sister...
