Aramus looked to Laracynn adamantly. "Your stalling appears to have succeeded. we can end this pointless endeavor. You have my thanks, old friend, till we meet again." He faded with a golden glow, returning to his mortal form, then fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Sounds like fun, count me in." Gus grinned deviously."

"That was the reason for it dear brother," Laracyn sighed, walked over and picked up Nero, "All done with no death, and no blood. I wish you could learn that." She looked sadly into Nero's face. "I am sorry for her foolishness, but I can help you," she kissed Nero's forehead as the other dimension began to fade and they return to the arena.

"I've restored his mind. It would seem that it had been badly damaged, not just by this event. He should be fine after he wakes," Laracyn placed his body on the ground, kneeling beside it. "Both of them should be waking soon, and it shouldn't take long for them to regain their strength," she told Hydro, "Just make certain this one doesn't try to fight against you anymore. I know you two have a history, and he may try to do so."

The Master came over the intercom once more. "Alright, enough with all of this. If you all kill the Crimson Reaper, I'll let one of you go home. If you don't, I'll send in some monsters that will kill all of you!"

"Does this a*****e ever shut up?" Hydro asked.
"No, but he's right. You have to kill me." Crimson reaper laid Mica on the ground.

Mica stirred as she was set onthe ground. Slowly opening her eyes, she saw the Crimson Reaper standing above her. She shrieked, reached for her sword, and managed to make it to her feet somewhat unsteadily. While The Master spoke on the intercom, she lnoticed that everyone had made it into the areana with her, and that her goddess was kneeling next to Nero. "I feel as if I've missed an entire chapter," she said in confusion, backing away from the CR, "Is Nero alright?"

"He is," Laracyn assured her, standing up, "But you should not have medeled with him. Aramus was very angry, and you risked Nero. After this ordeal is over, you will return to the temple and I will teach you why exactly you shouldn't play with gods." After speaking to Mica, Laracyn disapeared, leaving them to do the rest of the fighting on their own.

"So, the reaper..." Mica asked the rest of them, "What are we going to do?

"I'm not going to hurt you." Hydro crossed his arms.
"Let me explain something to you guys. Before I was a reaper, I was a serial killer, and I killed thousands. Then I got caught, my life was about to end. I decided to make a deal with the devil. I get to stay alive and keep killing, but the devil gets my soul in return. I teamed up with others, and ended up here helping other psychopaths kill. I grew tired of it all, and decided to start a new life."

He paused, looking over the group. "Then you guys came. I saw a second chance to redeem myself. I decided to help you all, even though I knew my life would end. You see my fate is set in stone, by helping you guys I broke my contract with the devil. My life will end one way or another. I'm giving you all a chance to help me and yourselves by killing me. There is a rule that before my death, I can give you one last hint to help you get out of this place."

"Complicated situation you have there Reaper," Mica gave him a look of apathy. She placed her sword back at her side. "If we're not going to kill him, then I think we should keep going and leave him to his Master," Mica told her friends, "He was a murderer and sold his soul to the devil, I'm code bound to kill him, not help him. And even if he is willing to turn himself around, his soul must still be delivered to where it belongs, unless we intend to fight the devil himself." She knew Hydro could not do that, considering his occupation, he should also seek to bring the soul to hell. She also did not have any desire to anger own goddess more than she already had been.

"Even if he helped us," Mica admitted, her demeanor still unchanged, "But we're not in a very good position to repay that properly at this time." She looked back at the Reaper, "What do you all want to do with him?"

Growing silent for a few seconds, Hydro paced in front of the reaper. He stopped, turned around, and started walking. After a good distance away from the reaper, he turned back, and got into a tackling postion. He nodded his head to Reaper.
"I wont go down easy, I will still fight back." Reaper held his sytche out
"I expect that much from you..." Hydro replied, rushing from his spot to tackle the reaper.

Mica backed away, keeping silent. Something about killing the reaper didn't sit right in the back of her mind. Not only was it their easiest way out, but their duty was to give the soul back to the devil as well. So, why did killing a reaper, who used to be a murderer so suddenly bother her even a little? Her resolve was strong seconds ago. She closed her eyes and pushed the thought to back of her of her mind, only for it to resurface again a moment later. "Something just doesn't feel right about this," Mica mumbled to herself, looking frustrated, "But what?" She closed her eyes again, wishing she could meditate properly, but it didn't take much focus to figure out what they were supposed to do. He was to be captured, but that didn't make sense either. It couldn't be a rescue, his soul was beyond anything which could be redeemed or purified. His ultimate fate was hell. What use could there be for him? "Hydro, we need to capture him," she drew her sword, the blade of it glowing a light blue, which confirmed her purpose. The blade could injure when this color, but never kill. She stared at the blade for a moment, looking slightly flustered, "Don't ask why, because I'm not even sure of that yet, but my goddess commands me to take him into possession instead of killing him yet."

The Reaper pushed Hydro off him. He threw his scythe towards Hydro, who ducked and rolled. The Scythe boomeranged back to the Reaper.
"Maybe if I had a net, or something similar I could capture him." Hydro replied to Mica.
"You all are wating your time. I am thankful that you want me to live, but I can scence my own death, it is very near. As I said before, I have one final hint for you. In order to face the master, you must first face the jailkeepr and Ruse. I don't know who the new jailkeeper will be since I am no longer, but I wish you good luck."

A large ice spear pierced the Reaper's face, as Gustav dropped down behind him. "You talk too much, old boney!" He laughed as he wrenched the spear around, then yanked it out and kicked the reaper to the ground. "Slabiy, byespolyezniy koocha yaniye ot otbrosi. Vryemya k pribirati!" He froze the remains, then stomped down, shattering what was left of the Crimson Reaper. He turned to the others. "Your collars will be returning online any moment now. It is time to get back into your cages like good little boys and girls."

Clentching his fists in rage, Hydro got ready to fight. "He could've been saved... I don't know how, but even as a demon I know something besides killing could've been done. Of course, a thick headed worthless lackey wouldn't know or care about that, would he?" Hydro picked up the Reapers Scythe, which had strange writing on it.

"Don't let him keep that Gus! Bring it to me!" The master yelled over the intercom.

Gus sent a blast of icefire at Hydro, knocking him down and charring his entire frontside. "Sorry kids, but it looks like you all get to die today!" He summoned a cloud above them as he picked up the scythe. The cloud began to rain razor-sharp ice needles, but a fierce wind suddenly diverted them into the walls, and blew away the cloud. One each side of the arena, two large familiars resembling gryphons were in midair. Gus grumbled. "It looks like you have been saved this time." A Jet of water burst him into the air, sending him through the aerial gates. The ghostly familiars evaporated.

"Reaper!," Mica jumped forth, looking over her charge. There was nothing she could do for him. The moment she had been told what to do, the one she was supposed to protect was killed before she could even react. Red sparks twisted into the blue glow of her blade. She seethed in anger, watching Gus leave. "I need all of your collars," she addressed the group, "Quickly, or else they just might come back online. I don't much about them, so they could have an auto repair." She place the point of her sword on the collar and pushed firmly into the metal. More red from her angry streamed into the blade. As the spirit energy reached the tip of the blade and caught the collar, the collar shattered.Mica did the same for each of the other collars, including the one on Nero. She knelt near Nero for moment, she gently whispered a spell to bring him back quicker. "I know it's a bit early yet, but you need to wake now," she took his hand, "It could get dangerous again soon."

"We're done with this place," she screamed at the intercom, tired of being played with, "We're getting out of here, and if possible, dragging your dead body out with us. I swear I'll hand your soul over to hell myself for what you're doing here. Why don't you just tell us where you are? We'll come there and end this right now."

"Mica..." Hydro groaned at the pain of the ice. "His icefire, think you can heal me? It was mainly the ice that hurt." He was used to hell, and could not stand most cold.

A door opened, sending out more collars that flew to each of the members and locked on to their necks. "Sorry little girl, but you're not in the postion to be making demands. Remember you have to follow my rules or bad things happen. You have many trials to face before you can even muster the strength to defeat me. In the meantime, get back to your cages while I ready the next battle."

Gus laughed as he returned to his viewing chamber. "Master, I thank you for the opportunity to piss them off. It will make them that much more worth killing. But I think we may have an uninvited guest, those familiars did not belong to any of our subjects."

Nero woke up with a grunt, rising just in time for a collar to catch round his neck and snap shut. "Son of a...." He looked around at everyone, standing up. "We should get back into the cages, the Master of this place is getting pissed." He walked over to his cage and entered it. "If you all want to talk, come to my chamber down in the dungeon. There isn't any surveillance down there aside form the jailkeeper."
