Vlad looked Sal over for a moment going a bit pale as he saw Sal wasn't feeling well. "Sal, your not sick are you? Perhaps you should go back to bed. I don't want to moving about if your unwell." The vampire had known what happened with women when they were having children but he didn't think it was possible with men, at least human men couldn't but he didn't know about mermen.

"Sal... Can men of your species have children?"

((oh don't worry vlad will be very happy too.))

Vlad couldn't be sure but he was thinking that Sal might be pregnant which both scared and delighted the vampire. "We should find out, I think you might be pregnant. Feeling ill is a sign for women at times and you haven't been sick since I've met you."

((it didn't notify me you posted! Though I haven't really been on until now. Just had graduation.))

The vampire could see he had upset his partner and he sighed softly. "That is a possibility as well. I don't know of any merfolk getting withdrawl, but if you need to go back to the water we can head there after breakfast. I wonder if the elf friend of yours could be of help, most are good at healing as well. She might know what is going on if the symptoms don't go away."

Vlad wasn't sure what he was hoping for, to have Sal be pregnant or just have it be from staying out of the water for too long. Sure both were a possibility, it was just the vampire had never thought he could have children after he had been changed, and if he could, what kind of child would it be. Would his offspring crave blood just like the vampires he had created? How would they do in this world being a hybred of a vampire and whomever his partner had been? He was a bit concerned that his children could be rejected if Sal was actually going to have his child, still the thought excited him.

Vlad smiled at his lover and put an arm around him. "If you are pregnant if that is a possibility, if it is later on I would be able to hear a second heartbeat. The thought of possibly being a father is exciting and frightening. While I want children, I never thought it would be possible, not to mention I worry how any child I did have would be treated as they would be a vampire mix." He gave a small smile before kissing his love.

"I would love to go with you. I have spent far to long away from you. Im not about to leave you again for a very very long time Sal. Im afraid your stuck with me for awhile."

((Why do I feel that the child is going to be a bit like a kelpie? look like a merman but have the desire for blood like a vampire >.<))

"Your right that we could do that, but at the same time is it a good idea? Yes they could be with other half vampires if it has happened elsewhere, but remember our child would be of royal blood Sal. Many may just befriend him or her due to being a royal." He knew about that, it had happened to him most of his life and he didn't want that for his child. If he was even having a child that was. He really didn't know what was going to happen or if it was just because Sal had been out of the water. He wished that they could know for sure right now, but that wasn't possible, even with human women the likelihood of finding out about being pregnant almost instantly was slim.

Vlad kept an arm around Sal for a moment longer befor eye went to clear the dishes used for breakfast. When be returned he was smiling at his lover and partner. "I am ready to go when you are. It will be nice to swim for a bit."

Vlad was more comfortable in the sun as he had spent so much time outdoors the last few weeks to the point his skin had gotten a slight tan to it.

((oh, Vlad doesn't consider himself to be a royal anymore, but he still is one... The towns people still believe his line to be the ruling house so his children would be royalty and so will Sal for marrying into the family.))

Vlad smiled and went with Sal towards the beach and saw that a few people that had been there started to get up and move. He let out a small sigh but raised a hand to the villagers. "Please, stay I wont be harming anyone, I am just here for a swim with Sal." With that he turned from the people and headed for the water surprised to see that some people actually stayed.

"Whale shark? The great big ones.... they don't eat fish do they?" He asked thinking that those were the gentler ones, or maybe it was the nurse shark, he never could remember those two.
