He lamented briefly over the loss of one of his activated abilities, its effect having served him well in replenishing his health as he focused his full attention on the battle itself. It appeared that the effect of the boost was beginning to wear off as well and he picked himself up for yet another round while he still could.

Thanks to the defense from last round, the White Queen's attack simply rolled off SCIENCE's defense! SCIENCE darted inside the Queen's defense a landed a critical blow before spinning away, out of the Queen's reach.

The Illusion's ability was waning and to his surprise he rolled his name card again. The Griffon already had it's use, he couldn't give that burden to them again, however... with two hatters nearby... One of them could deal with the gamble. Epithet's claws dissipated as he withdrew the treble clef-shaped weapon, directing it to one of the hatters whilst the illusion attacked and healed.

Here bombs manifested again, but all they were good for at this point was making a colorful set of explosions. SCIENCE simply didn't have any other minipets to bring out to battle!
Luckily, her Greater Gamble ability activated on her pulling duplicate attack cards. As she was going to attack the queen, though, a strange surge of power coursed through her. Her Pocket Card pinged that someone had used an ability on her!
When the White Queen hit her, she seemed to hit twice as hard! But the blow SCIENCE delivered in return was truly epic!

Reeling from the force of the magnified blows, SCIENCE stumbled back, and caught sight of the Player she thought had cast the ability on her.
"Well met!" she called to him, hefting the strange shaped weapon. "Thanks for the weapon!"
She had one final attack left in her! She hoped the cards would work with her...
Luck was with her, literally! She drew a luck, and two attack cards that, when funneled through the borrowed weapon, translated into another devastating attack!
