"Oh, and thank you." was all Nazaroth replied, waving his hand at the couple. The collars fell to the ground before crumpling into little squares of metal, then flying back into his pockets.
Well, they certainly weren't exaggerating when they said he had become more powerful. He raised one eyebrow, highly amused.
"Elandere, you were there when she started to panic... You were inside the Temple when she nearly fainted, when I made her suffer worse than she has in years.... And yet, you think it's so impossible? Don't hold your breath! She chose death over giving me this willingly; search your feelings, you know her well enough to know this to be true! Why would she want to risk putting the Temple at risk?"
Actually, these were all very good questions. Something wasn't entirely right here, but he didn't let his facade betray that. "When she saw me, she panicked just as she did at the Temple... Her resolve dissolved like salt in water, or ice beneath the desert sun. I ran her straight through the belly, her blood flooding the little sacred chapel in the Forbidden City down there...." He gestured out to the place visible in the valley. He was a lot closer to it than Sallia had realized. "In fact, the first blood spilt for a few thousand years I believe. Why wouldn't I offer the gods such a long-awaited sacrifice, and who better to send them than their Priestess?"
He was crazy, purely insane at that very moment, devoured by bloodlust, hoping for just one answer to set him off. He wanted to torture them, but would have rather they provoked it from him.

Sallia had finally made her way to the Sacred Springs, eyes peering out from the bushes, her animal instincts taking over. She could not be seen....
To her dismay, however, Shanra and Alandis were there, talking. "Just lead her away, lead her away!!" she cursed under her breath. To her surprise, Shanra did exactly that, pausing to speak with the woman only when they were in the gardens.
She hurriedly lowered her frame into the water, taking deep, long, labored breaths. She could actually breath without the threat of passing out from the pain; when she feared someone might see her, she ducked deep under the water. If she had about 10 more minutes uninterrupted, she might be able to feign swimming; the pink tint to the waters wasn't very convincing, however. It would clear with time. All she had to do was wait.

Sario smiled assuringly to her elder, placing her other hand higher on Legede's arm.
"He's doing a good job, Y'veridan," she replied, leaning her head on the elf's shoulder. "Don't worry, I wouldn't be staying if I'm a threat to you...We'll figure something out."
He eyed her for a moment, before answering. "I hope so."

Haldir said nothing, for Elandere spoke up before he could.
"You did not kill her." he said matter-of-factly. "I would know. I would feel it. She is like a little sister to me, and she is Legolas' wife. I hold a close bond to the family of Thranduil, Nazaroth. So no, I do not believe your twisted lies."
Of course, Elandere kept silent that he knew Sallia's pendant was split into two pieces now.

It went a little quiet between the three elves, before Sario finally spoke up.
"Do you need any help with gardening, Y'veridan?" she asked, motioning toward his rake.
He looked down at it, and laughed. "Just a few leaves here and there, nothing serious."
"Maybe I could help?"
He got a little serious then. "Sario I don't..."
The elven woman reached out and took a hold of the large stick. "I'm fine, and besides, it's not like I don't know what to do. What with all the chores you gave me."
He grinned on that, "No, I don't suppose so..."
"Then let me help," Sario smiled, releasing Legede's hand and walking through the opening of the gates, the rake in her grasp now.
"Just make sure you get all of the leaves," the Eldar called, watching her walk across the ground to the side of the house where he had not gotten to yet.
"I know!"

Legede smiled as he watched Sario walk off with the rake.
"She is always so eager to help others." he commented, never taking his eyes off the Maia until she was finally out of sight. The Elf looked back to Y'veridan, "Is there anything I could do to help you as well?"

Nazaroth smirked. "And so you're right."
With one swift turn, he had kicked both Elandere AND Haldir in their ribs, as well as in their heads, though not hard enough to render them unconscious. With his sword, he gave them identical slashes to Sallia's; before long, he broke each of their feet and ankles, having had to yank Haldir's from beneath him (he busted his kneecaps for that offense as well), dislocated Haldir's shoulder and Elandere's hip, and then proceeded to break their noses.
"OH, and don't think I'm done YET!" he sang with glee, driving a spike into Elandere's hand and into the wall.
Then came the mental suffering. Both elves would be floored by the pain; in fact, it was enough that Elandere wouldn't notice the gaping hole in his hand growing larger as he freed it from the wall. Nazaroth also decided to add some fun by scorching them with embers from his firepit.
"Dance, elflings, dance! Can't you see what a grand occasion this is?!!" he mocked, rejoicing in the smell of scalding flesh. "And think! Those after you will suffer even worse! Won't it be grand!?!"

Aras Screamed out in sheer pain "Orophin!" Aras yelled as wounds began to apear on Aras, her nose began to bleed annd burn marks appeared on her pale flesh. Aras Cried out again, sobbing from pain "VALAR!" She screamed. Avien hugged the woman.

(((OOC: Okay, I'm gonna focus on ONE Elf at a time here. So I'll post a bit of them together, then all of Haldir's reactions, then Elandere's reactions... to save me some confusion.)))

The kick to their ribs had not hurt too terribly much and, while the ones to their heads had brought on black spots, it had been highly bearable. The slashes however, started a chain of events that lead to more pain than either Elf had been ready to accept.
Haldir, sitting on the ground, his legs curled under him, had been forced backward slightly by the slash as he tried to curl into himself, his hands covering the blood now on his tunic. Before he could react however, Nazaroth jerked the Elf's legs hard, snapping the knee caps in the process, before proceeding to smash his ankles and feet. Haldir called out then, laying partially on his back and partially on his left side. His ry intensified when his right shoulder was broken in much the same fashion. Dislocated, the limb hung limp at his side as he tried to curl in on his left side. A swift kick to his face however, brought him semi out of that position as, at the same moment the cartliage in his nose shattered.
Elandere faired no better. He was standing however, but not for long. His chains rattled as he fell onto his side, his stomach gashed and his ankles and feet broken. In the fall, and due to his shackles, Elandere managed to smash his hip on a nearby rock, breaking it, as well as his nose when he hit the ground. Elandere tried to pick himself up around the pain, only to be slammed back against the wall, jarring his injuries and bringing a cry from his lips. The cry turned into a scream as his hand was pinned to the wall by Nazaroth's spike.
"Curse you!" Elandere screamed as he slumped back against the wall, trying to take the weight off of all his injuries.
That brought on a barrage of mental assaults, upon both helpless captives. Haldir lay on his left side, eyes tightly shut, trying to block out the pain as he tried curled into a ball near the wall. But his knees were broken and his legs could not move, making him wallow in the pain even more. Elandere lay on his back, his body shuddering as his closed eyes also tried to help him deal with the agony.
Fire consumed them both then, as they were repeatedly poked and prodded with embers from Nazaroth's fire. Their screams echoed into the fading light of the sunset.

Valin however, as he held onto Fewen, watched in fascination. "No." the Elf replied to his love, "He is not insane. He is angry with Sallia, and will see everything and anything even remotely dear to her, destroyed."

Haldir's mind screamed out Aras' name, for he could indeed hear her calls. He tried to keep the agony from his voice, but it overcame him, flooding her with images of the brutality he and Elandere were suffering.

Y'veridan crossed his arms, watching Sario as the woman moved with ease, looking as if nothing was even wrong with her. When Legede spoke did he turn his brown eyes to the other. He didn't answer right away, but after a minute he did, it was a low voice.
"How bad is it?"

Aras screamed agin, reaching for anyone. Sundin watched on fearfully "OROPHIN RUMIL! SOMEONE!" Avien yelled as Aras screamed 'Haldir! Please stay alive! I love you! Hang on!'

Legede looked to Y'veridan. "Very, I am afraid." he replied. "I was once taken hold of by Morgoth, and the result was that I nearly killed both Sario and my liege, Thranduil. She cured me, with the help of the Rivendell Twins of Lord Elrond, and I eventually recovered, though it was a slow process. I became very ill, and nearly died. I fear the same may happen to her... And I would not see her in pain ever again."

all she could hear was the painful scream's of Elandere and Haldir. " ken when can we get out of this mess we are in. i have the felling he will turn his back on us and betray us to the royal's." she said wenching at one of Haldir's scream's of pain.

"Sallia?" Alandis asked, when she turned back to find the elf running past the two. When she was going to ask Shanra what was going on, by the woman's appearance, she watched as he just motioned her to follow him to the gardens.
Partially curious, and wondering what else the other would say, she followed obediently, but only after picking up her things and the bouquet of herbs.
Walking behind him, the Healer glanced back toward the springs, before they disappeared from sight. The water took on a rose color, and she gazed up to the sky to see whether or not it was from the lighting. But she then noticed that her pause almost made her lose sight of Shanra, and so she chased after him.
"What's going on?" she asked, once they were within the gardens.
The other went silent in thought, his attention focused on Sario once more. She had now gathered a few of the leaves into a small pile, working on merging them with the others he had created.
"She told me that story not too long ago, before she left again," he said, sighing. "That girl has had many bad run ins with poisoning..."
Y'veridan glanced to Legede briefly. "Please, find a way to cure her."
