The man sighed, looking to the mountains from his makeshift shelter. It was cruedly made, but served his purposes for the time being. He was more bent on revenge than on the need for comfort. Aengas banged his fist against the rock wall which he dwelt under and against. He had had the King of Gondor perfectly in his sights, had even shot him with on of his poisoned arrows. And somehow... someway... the man knew Aragorn had survived. "Curse him..." the Easterling whispered, closing his eyes and leaning against the wall. "And now, because of that Orc army, I have no way of knowing where he has gone." Frustration was welling within him. Aengas had thought of traveling to Gondor in disguise and slipping into the palace to kidnap the king's wife or child. To hold one of them hostage would bring Elessar running, he was sure of that. However, he had not the means to infiltrate a palace, nor the skill. He was a warrior, not an assassin. He was meant to kill in broad daylight, not to sneak about under the cover of darkness. Aengas sighed once more. Now he had to come up with, yet another, plan. One, he hoped, that would finally succeed.

"Tsk, tsk," came the clicking of a tongue, a small figure looking down upon the man. It was dark and the figure remained a silhoutte against the night sky. "What a shame," the sulky voice, devoid of motion as well as gender, teased. "Poor little Easterling, all alone and angry at the world," it continued, "He doesn't know the location of the man he so hates. Ytain does though."

Aengas stood tall, his arms crossed over his chest as he watched the figure above him. In the moonlight, it nearly seemed as if the being floated above the rocky outcropping over his head, but the man shook such a thought away. "I am not alone nor am I angry with the world." Aengas replied, "I am angry with one man, for the slaughter of one whom was closer to me than any other. But... it appears you know this." he said, smirking slightly, "So tell me, Ytain... where is this man?"

The dark creature took a shape of a human on all fours, crawling down the rock in a snake-like fashion as it came closer to Aegnas. Yet still it's form remained veiled by the shadows. "Ytain knows, but for a price." ((OOC: Almost tempted to say Fred.)) It leaned back, incase the man would lunge toward the being. For a mysterious entity, it didn't spare being vague. "That man and his companions are in a land faaaarrrr away, forgotten by all those who don't know where to look," a sound emitted from the figure, sounding like a giggle. "Yet Ytain knows exactly where they dwell. In the mountains, in the forest, among springs."

"Far away, huh?" Aengas asked, looking to the mountains surrounding Mordor. "Past the Dead Marsh, right?" he asked again. "Perhaps within Eryn Lasgalen or Lothlorien, for those are lush forests." The man actually wanted to figure it out for himself. This strange being, he believe, might cause him a bit of trouble. "Your name is Ytain... but what are you?"

"Good question, but what is Ytain?" Ytain finally emerged from the shadows, or at least the shadows pulled away from her. Exposed to the world and Aegnas now, she remained sitting on the rock. Lush black curls fell over perfect milky white skin, laying over her breasts as she smiled coldly to the man. Violet eyes danced in the faded light, glinting with what could be insanity. "Ytain could be a woman," she answered, trailing off as she waved a hand over her face. THe next minute she became a he. A scruffy man took the place of the exotic woman, just as naked. His skin was brown, scarred over and a full beard covered about half his face. His hair was black too, as was his eyes. "Ytain could be a man." ANd as before, he transformed to a woman again, an elf to be exact. Pale blonde hair fell all around her body, lean and beautiful, but not quite the same as her female human form. "Ytain could be an elf, as well as any other creature," she giggled, ice blue eyes sparkling. "But Ytain does not know. Ytain has never seen her real form for she does not remember. That is one of the only thing that remains a mystery with Ytain." Reverting back to her original form, she smiled to Aegnas. "Your guesses are wrong though, for Aragorn is not in a land he is familiar with. He knows the trees and plants, but he does not know the land itself," her smile widened in glee, repeating herself, "Yet Ytain knows."

Aengas was caught a bit off guard by this creature. He nearly took a step back, wondering if this thing could become any beast of the world, and if he was in any mortal danger. But he looked into Ytain's eyes, realizing that there was something within this being that wished for a certain sense of something... chaos perhaps? The Easterling did not know. What he did know was that this creature before him was no fool. "How can that be possible?" he asked, once more his mind had quickly drawn back to revenge. "The man was a Ranger, he has been all over Middle-earth, including... it is rumored... my own lands. He has been to Mordor and Harad and the far reaches of the North. How could he possibly be in a place forigen to him?"

"He resides north of the Shire, among the Blue Mountains," Ytain turned her head to the side, staring off as her voice became even more detached. "Yet it is not the land of Emyn Uial...No...That is where the Maia lives and longs to be. The haven Ytain isspeaking of is old and magical, once the realm of Kings and Queens forgotten...So forgotten by many."

"If it is a land of Kings and Queens forgotten, then how did they get there? Would they also have forgotten such a place?" Aengas asked.

"Time brings change. Change brings new. New destroys the needs for those of old and used," Ytain looked back at Aegnas, her smile gone. "Magic kept it alive and magic is what brought them there. A portal rider, who's ability makes Ytain envious and fascinated at the same time, transported Aragorn and the others to that land."

"Transported them because of the Orcs, right?" Aengas sighed, glancing at the mountains of Mordor. "I was going to wait until that army struck again... but if they are gone, then such a force can come nowhere near that distance, at least, not in a short time." He glanced around his makeshift home. "The Shire you say?" Aengas asked, walking over and picking up a large sachel, one that was quite long as well as heavy. "I suppose I should head that way then." but he stopped at the door to his home. "But tell me, Ytain... why have you given me such news?"

"Ytain is intrigued by the Easterling," she answered, leaning back on her hands and shaking her head so that her curls would fall away. At the same time she crossed one leg over the other, showing more of her perfect pale skin. "His determination and passion for revenge has caught Ytain's attention, and she is willing to offer herself to help him in any means necessary," Ytain's smile returned, malicious in the darkness. "For example, traveling to the Shire would be a waste of both Aegnas and Ytain's time. The reason they are so out of reach is because they are preparing for the end. The end of Melkor's reign and the darkness which they so fear. In the morn the battle shall begin to save the lives of Middle-earth and Arda." Her purple eyes took on a lighter tint, her words too farsighted to be taken seriously or even to believed. "By tomorrow night, the victor shall be announced and casualties will be named. Ytain has a pretty good idea of the outcome, that she does."

"So I am to wait here?" Aengas asked, a bit of anger creeping into his voice. "What makes you so certain of this outcome? Surely you are not gifted with such strong foresight."

"It is not foresight," Ytain smiled, "That ability is bestowed by the Valar to those who are worthy in their eyes. No, Ytain learns from the shadows for their knowledge is just as good as being clairvoyent." She laughed, giddy, "But waiting is the best thing for Aegnas to do, for his revenge will be achieved one way or another. Just not tonight, or he may find himself getting into a nasty situation."

Aengas turned away from the being, a frown on his face. "I could get my revenge even in a bind." he replied, drawing the sword that was at his side. "My blade has never failed me. Why would it now." he sighed, putting the weapon away, "But... it would take me days to travel on foot to that land, plus I do not know it well, which could take even more time." Aengas turned, flashing Ytain a smile. "You said the shadows told you... how is that?"
