Kai Shi Hmmm...Still a bit glitchy. I like the new guild stuff...but we still need Arisa to put one of the mods as co-captain or whatever it's called. Yes because somebody has got to be able to fix all the stuff needed.

I imagine this has been tried, but could we point out to Gaia how long we've been floating without a captain? Maybe we could convince them to let us at least appoint a co-captain. (Visions of SBA with power . . . .faints in terror).

Shun Azhriaz I imagine this has been tried, but could we point out to Gaia how long we've been floating without a captain? Maybe we could convince them to let us at least appoint a co-captain. (Visions of SBA with power . . . .faints in terror). If that would work it would be awsome but I don't think we would be able to unless we somehow had proof that Koukon would let us or something like that. But it's worth a try... that is if it hasn't already been tried...

The only problem is who would decide which mod? The members or the mods themselves? Likely the mods themselves... Then there is always the problem of each mod saying they deserve the power over the others because of some reason or another... Or it becomes a popularity contest... It's all very chaotic. Or they could go by post numbers which would really just be a stupid way to do it... However I can see them doing it that way and for some reason that bothers me simply because the person with the most posts could very well be the person who is most unqualified to do the job. (Not saying that any of the mods here are unqualified... All of the mods are overly qualified to do the job in my opinion. I've never had a problem with the way a mod has handled an issue here, ever. I'm just saying that there are more logical ways to make such a decision and just doing it by post count really bothers me.) Or they could do it by how often a mod is online and that bothers me as well. (Even though I am always online everyday and probably online more than the other mods [due to the fact that I have no life...] it still bothers me...) Again, the most qualified person may or may not get appointed that way, due to how often they are online. I hope that if we can talk them into appointing one of us, they will take everything into consideration... This includes number of posts, frequency to the guild, and opinions from all the other mods on each individual person. That is... If we can't get a hold of Koukon...

Way I see it, we have three choices. 1) ninja : don shinobi garb, sneak into Gaia HQ and make off with the access code, all the while stealthily humming the Mission Impossible theme. 2) pirate Set sail and blockage the Isle of Gambino, laying down heavy cannon fire until the dirty swabs cough up the dough to make us stop (has the advantage that traditionally, this can be repeated at least once a year). 3) pirate / ninja combo. Ninja pirates. Could anything be cooler? Well, okay, zombie ninja pirates with mecha,but that would be silly.

Lol is all I can say... It's almost as if you're in on the deep rooted inside joke that goes on here in Bakersfield...
*goes off on a tangent to explain*
A teacher at North High (Star Pride, bitches!) named Colby Natalle brought to our school the deep rooted hatred for Ninjas because he is a Pirate. He assumed the role of Forensics Director... (Forensics is just the fancy name they gave Debate Class...) And at the beginning of the year he assigned a debate: Which is better, Ninjas or Pirates? He let the kids decide which side they were and the war rampaged on because everybody knows Ninjas and Pirates don't mix! The debate quickly turned into an all out capture the flag game that has lasted for quite some time. With the new students coming into the class, fresh blood was introduced into the war and the whole school was in on the game/war. Natalle proudly paraded his Pirate Flag where ever he went just daring the Ninja kids to steal it. Meanwhile the Ninjas hid their own flag or passed it off between the group of dwindling Ninjas in hopes they would not lose.
One day, the head Ninja Billie (My gay friend who's username is missnoxema...) managed to steal the Pirate Flag from Captain Natalle! But with no base to return it to they could not win the war. So he kept it with him until his fellow Ninjas could find a place to base. But Captain Natalle won his flag back and brought down the Ninja leader. (More like tackled him in Economics class and punched him in the gut till he got it back... But it was all in good fun and nobody got too hurt... Our crap-tastic Econ teacher was a bit of a p***k about it though...)
Alas, at the end of the year the game came to its end. With most of the remaining Ninjas and many Pirates graduating... It was time to end the war and declare peace...
This year, Billie returned to Natalle to admit that he had accepted his inner Pirate and Natalle decided that he could accept his inner Ninja so long as it knew Pirates were better.
Reason for telling you this: Preston and I were always undecided. I leaned more toward Pirates and he leaned more toward Ninjas... But we couldn't really decide because many of my friends were Ninjas and many of his friends were Pirates. So we decided just last month that we are both Pirate Ninjas... A hybrid between the two evils...
That's right! We're lootin your a** and we're being sneaky about it!
You just reminded me of that with your last option. Brought back fun memories... What's even greater is that kids I talk to from West... (I have friends at every school... It's weird.) Would talk about the war at North and even choose a side to be on whether or not they could partake in the action. And they were brutal about it too...
But the only way we're laying seige on the Isle De Gambino is if we get Gino Gambino out first!

Ravishng the local townsfolk is as intregal to the ninja / pirate lifestyle as lotting and pillaging. He could be your . . . cabinboy or something. the ninja/pirate debate sounds hilarious. Me, I'm amongst the undecided. I once did Halloween in full ninja regalia (ordered the costume from a martial arts store, complete with the ninja booties). I've considered doing the Jack Sparrow bit this year but my wife pointed out that I'd have to stop bathing and shaving and start drinking heavily. In this heat I'd be pretty ripe come October 31st . . .She's a hypocrite--she loves Jack, but apparently can't handle a little odor . . .
