As Maureen continued to wash Steph's hair she remembered what had happened right before going into surgery. She didn't know what to do. She liked Steph but she didn't like her the same way she liked her. At least not yet. It usually takes her a while to develop feelings for someone.

Holly collapsed to the bottom of the shower in a fit of giggles.

"Mmmm" Katrina growled. "Don't get my hopes up..."She grunted "Fine...fine...I'll get up and go see Maureen." She looked at Ally will a pleading look. "Maybe we could meet everyone over there in a littler bit."

Steph was oblivious. She was busy counting the number of tiles in the shower.

Kyle shook his head with a big smile on his face. "Normally collapsing in showers is caused by something other than the giggles."

Maureen stopped scrubbing Steph's hair. "Okay, time to rinse."

Marius smiled. "Yes Alejandro. It won't take up long to get over there. I'm sure it will be okay if we're a few minutes late."

Katrina grinned and went back to snuggled with the boys. She mumbled a soft thank you."

Steph stepped under the shower head and watched as the suds rinsed out of her hair. But in watching she got some in her eye and cried out.

Maureen quickly grabbed a towel and pulled her out from under the spray. She wiped the suds off of Steph's face. "It's okay. You'll be alright in just a moment."

Steph wiped at her eyes as she cried. But Maureen was right. within a couple of minutes her eye stopped burning.

Katrina couldn't stop smiling. "Me too...I tried going to bed first but...I just kept thinking...it took me 20 minutes to convince myself that you'd let me join you guys..."
