"Well.." he blushed, "This is quite true." Curtis gently tapped the end of Katra's nose with his finger. "Now... would it be too much to ask that I can go have some dinner of my own before it gets any colder?"

Kat grinned sheepishly. "Yeah, I think I might go shower while you eat." She slipped off on Curtis and then slipped off the bed. She didn't bother putting clothes on to just go take them off in the shower. She bent back over Curtis and left one last kiss before she slunk into the bathroom.
The water felt wonderful. She took a very long time in the shower and washed her hair twice. She enjoyed having full mobility in the shower, though now that she thought back on it, she really did kind of enjoy Curtis taking care of her, but she didn't want to make it a habbit. She wanted to continue not having to be depend on anyone or anything to survive.

"They're not exactly allowed, so your place it is." She was still rediculously tired, but she was going whether her body liked it or not. "I don't suppose you'd be willing to carry me?"

"Want to test my werewolf strength, eh?" Connor chuckled. "Alright, I can do that." Without any further discussion, he easily lifted his dark-skinned companion and started out the door.

While Katra bathed Curtis re-warmed his supper and made haste in eating it. At least as a wolf he was experience in eating quickly. Once his share of the stew was down and the rest was refrigerated, Curtis sat down on his desk and went to work on the grading that he was so far behind on.

Kat dryed off using one of Curtis's towels and hoped he wouldn't mind. She slipped out of the bathroom in the towel and snuck up behind Curtis. She rested her hands on his shoulders, "So, I'm getting all A's right?" She giggled and her hands slid down his chest as she rested her head on his shoulder.

It was the second time he had done something that she wasn't sure if she had expected him to actually do it or not. His arms felt so strong underneath her and she wasn't about to complain. She put her arms around his neck for some added stability and just let him carry her.

"I hope you don't think that for one second I believed that you actually needed carried," Connor said as he walked to his room. "I know perfectly well that you're quite capable of walking no matter how tired you are."

"Well, I can't very well flunk my own mate," Curtis joked in return. "But in all seriousness, you're doing fine." He turned his neck and kissed her brow.

He needed to see her, they had told her she was alive long ago and that he would, in time, get to see his sister again. But Jonas wanted to make sure, after the mistakes they made giving Aurora his DNA that his sister was ok.
When he woke that evening he snuck out of headquarters knowing no one saw him. He knew aproxamatly where she was staying now, at some were's house. He didn't much like that idea but the company 'observers', who just like regular spies, had assued him that the were was taking very good care of her. He also didn't like the idea that she had been turned a few years ago, under such horrible circumstances. He had taken care of the were who dared to defile his sister the day he found out about it, a year ago.
Jonas hung back in the shawdows near the cabin watching for any sign of life. He could hear voices, but he was too far away to catch what they were saying but he could tell one of them was female and he assumed it was his sister. He wanted her to come outside so he could see her. He wondered if the stories about twin telephathy he had heard were true, so he closed his eyes and consentrated on his sister.

Kat giggled, "Well, I'm going to leave you to your grading and I think I want some fresh air." She hugged him tight before she released him and straightened up. "I'll be but in just a second, I promise." She turned and grabbed a pair of pants and a shirt and slipped them on as she left the cabin.
Something outside felt different. She wasn't sure what it was and shrugged it off. She kind of wanted to go a little bit deeper into the woods but wondered if Curtis would advise it. She turned back to the cabin and a sence of defience filled her mind, she figured she couldn't get into too much trouble as long as she kept the cabin in sight. Kat headed off into the trees.

Katra could handle herself, of that he was fairly certain, so Curtis went about his work. When Katra did not come back right away, he chose to let it go. She had been stuck in the house all day, after all, and was no doubt having cabin fever.
But the grading was finished and she still wasn't back. It had been a good couple of hours since she left. Finally allowing concern to take control, Curtis went outside, following her scent.

Kat found herself farther away from the cabin than she had expected. She could find her way back, no doubt, but there was something out here that was leaving a nagging sensation in the back of her mind. She sniffed around and smelled somethign familiar but she couldn't place it.

Jonas wasn't expecting her to come so close to finding him. But she had his scent and he was sure there was really no way out of it. He slipped out of the shadows and stood in front of her. She was a lot shorter than he had expected. He remembered her being sick all the time when they were kids but he didn't think that it would have effected her in such a physical way. She was also really skinny, and he wondered if she ever got enough food.

Kat jumped and growled at the person who had come out of no where. He was pale but she could tell he had teh dark skin of her own people. He looked really familiar but she couldn't put her finger on where she had seen him before.
"What do you want? And how do you know my name?!" She all but growled at him.

"Katra...I'm sorry to have scared you. I just wanted to see you and make sure you were alright. And I know your name because I have known you since birth. Kitty, you don't recognize me? You're own brother?"

"Brother? My brother is in Seattle..." Then again, no one had called her Kitty since she was little at the orphanage..."Wait...Jonas? I forgot...I forgot you existed!" She had a quick flashback to the two of them about four years old playing in the garden of the church that was attatched to the orphanage. "You smell so different..."

Jonas smiled. He didn't move still affraid of scaring her off. "Well, so says the were-pire to the vampire."
