Desiree gave him a kiss as she shut Peter's door behind them. "What? Did Peter keep going on about his beloved wife to be?"

Ray rolled his eyes. "No. But when he did go on, I just wished he would stop talking. He's gone mad, Desiree. I'm actually a bit afraid for Jess; her husband's unstable."

"Well for once, Jess seems like she's become sane." Desiree laughed at the thought. "Who had have thought that pregnancy could cause total role reversals?"

Ray groaned. "I hope to god that it's not permanent. I can't stand him now. I mean, he's my friend, but I'm so grateful to not be in the same room as him..."

"Poor baby." Desiree patted him on the head, hearing a knock below. "More guests. Wonder how many are coming..."

Ray shrugged, peering over the stair's railing to see an aunt and uncle. The aunt had already begun to bawl. "I think most of them would be family, though. People that are obligated to come. Not many parents would approve of this."

"Yeah, that's true." Desiree watched as a few more people, who definitely resembled Peter more than Jess. "Notice that there aren't any Winsrows around?"

Ray smiled sadly. "I sort of expected that. Jess's parents are supposed to be very conservative, very rich. I doubt that they'd have anything to do with their daughter now that she's gone and gotten pregnant."

"Yeah, that's true." Desiree sighed. "I sort of feel sorry for her. At least Peter's family is helping her out."

OOC: Ja.
Ray shifted in his seat when the organ began to play. It was Peter's eldest cousin playing, and his rhythm was off for the first few moments. But it sank back into the old, familiar tune without much difficulty. He turned to look around for Jess.

"I can't do this...I can't." Jess was positively shaking, looking paler than ever. She refused to let Peter's father move, as he was walking her down the aisle.
"Oh, come now. You can do this. You look ravishing." Michale patted her on the hand lightly, giving her a fatherly smile.
"And if I completely ruin everything? What if I slip with my wand and shoot him in the face?"
At this, Michael hada to chuckle. "Then I'm sure you won't have been the only one. Come on, the music's starting."
Jess took a deep breath, well, as deep a breath as the confines of her dress robes allowed her, before stepping out into the aisle.

Peter kept cracking his knuckles nervously, and he stopped momentarily when he saw Jess, looking as apprehensive as he did, and looking as beautiful as he could have hoped. He smiled nervously, and resumed cracking his knuckles.

It seemed like an eternity to get down the aisle, but she eventually did, avoiding evreyone's gaze except for Peter's. Normally she would have wanted everyone looking, but because of a certain change in her abdomen as of late, she was a little more self conscious, blushing as she handed off her bouqet and took Peter's hands.

The Keyes' neighbor, an ancient old geezer that had been about a hundred years old when Peter was born, began reciting. Peter wasn't listening to him. He just kept looking at Jess and swallowing. His throat had gone very dry as of late.

Jess was pretty much in the same boat as Peter. She really had no mind to be listening at the moment and was feeling very nervous from the whole thing. She tried her best to hold down her nausea, which had nothing to do with morning sickness and everything to do with anxiety, as she kept her focus on Peter. It was no surprise, really, that they ended up missing their cues when the old man told them to take each others wand hand as he performed the traditional marriage spell on the two of them. When it was finally all over, Jess was still unaware, as everything was mostly a blur.
