Talking the bottle from Miguel as he handed it to him, Abel opened it up. He took a sip as Miguel moved around the bed. Abel felt the bed shift as Miguel sat beside him. Silence settled between them but he didn't know what to talk about. He grabbed the television remote from beside the bed on the table. Abel turned on the television flipping through channels until he settled on some random crime tv show. He set the remote down along with his bottle of water on the table beside the bed. Abel was fine if Miguel didn't want to talk more, he wasn't forcing him. He was merely here just so Miguel wasn't alone.

Sitting there Abel didn't think Miguel wanted to talk too much about what had happened. The silence between them didn't bother him. Abel didn't want to push it either. He could only take a few guesses for the cause of Kieran's anger. Abel knew eventually he would have to face him as well.
The bed shifted beside him as Miguel pulled his legs up. Abel watched as Miguel started to cry into his folded arms. He moved closer toward Miguel as he reached an arm out. Abel slipped it around Miguel as she pulled him against his chest. He didn't know what to tell Miguel but the least he could do was try to comfort him.

The television was no longer holding his attention. Abel grabbed the remote turning it off. He held onto Miguel who buried himself against him. Abel wasn't bothered by his crying. Miguel was free to cry all he wanted. He didn't know if saying anything would help so he just kept quiet. Abel trailed his hand over Miguel's back rubbing it. He relaxed against the headboard holding onto Miguel.

True Abel could have hung up on Miguel, however what good would that have done. He would only have to deal when the consequences later. Abel could pretend to comfort Miguel. He didn't know if he was. Abel had grown used to comfort others. He had done it before with Kieran when they were younger. Abel could only sit and watch as Miguel cried. There was no enemy to kill in this point. His words weren't probably going to be comforting if he spoke. He knew also that teasing Miguel was not in his best interest.

As the tears quieted down, Abel looked down at Miguel. He could see he was looking down at the space between them. Abel knew that he wasn't the best and didn't equate to Kieran. He pulled back to look down at Miguel. His hand quit moving against Miguel's back. "Feel better?" Abel asked slightly teasing. He wasn't bothered by the crying but he didn't know how much more Miguel had in him. Abel knew crying wasn't going to bring back Kieran or makes things better.

Abel could be cruel if he needed to but what good with that do. He didn't need to kick Miguel down when he already was. There was no gain from that. It wasn't pleasurable only down right miserable. Abel watched as Miguel dried his tears but didn't look at him. He couldn't help but tease Miguel slightly. Abel knew crying didn't help but there wasn't much he could do to help. "Is there anything you need or want that could help?" He asked curiously not sure if being here was helping at all.

Questioning Miguel, Abel watched as he shook his head responding to his question. He accepted the answer knowing there was not much he could do but he tried. Abel watched as Miguel leaned up to kiss his cheek. He accepted it, not sure why it happened though he wasn't going to question it. Abel listened as Miguel nodding at his words. He felt Miguel shift to lay his head on his chest. Abel remained silent as he held onto Miguel. He eventually turned out the lights.
Morning came as Abel lay in the bed. He had moved to lie down sometime in the early morning. Abel felt another body beside him. He opened his eyes, realizing he must have kept his hold on Miguel. Abel lay with Miguel's back to him as he was spooned in behind him. His hand held to his waist. He sighed softly mostly to himself as he lay there, everything coming back to him.

Lying beside Miguel, Abel saw nothing wrong with it. Holding onto Miguel while he slept was merely a natural reaction. He even felt Miguel snuggle back into his body. Abel didn't question it as he lay there waking up. Time went by as Miguel soon woke. He felt the sudden shift in his body as it relaxed before it tensed. Abel felt Miguel pull away. He didn't stop him as he released him. Abel watched as Miguel moved to sit up. He rolled onto his back running a hand up into his hair. Abel glanced toward Miguel as he spoke. "Morning." He responded sitting up as well. Abel didn't know when they needed to check out but he could only guess soon. He moved to get out of bed and head to the bathroom to take care of business.
