J'rel nodded. "That sounds wonderful. Lead the way."

Lintana proceded to drag J'rel all over the weyr. They went from the storage room all the way up to the top of the bowl. And at the top she stopped. "See, from here you can almost see the cove hold." She pointed out a very small dot way to the west. She felt Saterth wake. "Oh and Saterth is awake! Shall we go see how they are doing?"

Eisel watched Z'Arian for a moment and then hid a laugh. She kissed him lightly on the cheek and smiled. "Don't hide it. Smiles are for sharing." Cheesy, yes. But it was also true. Are you done theatricizing?, Umbrielth inquired tartly. Eisel rolled her eyes and quickened her pace. If you don't find some patience, I might just leave you to the firelizards to wash, she replied teasingly. The queen mumbled something derogatory about her lesser brethren.

J'rel nodded and was caught of guard with she started to move cause he was absentmindedly looking out to the cove.
Z'Arian gave her a 'you're silly' kind of smile, kissed her back, and had to speed up to keep up with her. "Umbrielth being a little touchy?" he asked. Vrätoth, go spread your wings and fly a bit, I'll call you when we're done here. He followed Eisel as she lead him to her queen.

"She seems to think she's already entitled to the bad mood typical to pregnancy," she replied a touch breathlessly, rolling her eyes. She emerged into the sunlight of the Bowl and blinked for a moment before heading for the large pool where Umbrielth was fending off excited firelizards as she sat, half-submerged, in the clear water.

Z'Arian watched as the firelizards fly around and then snapped at a sudden realization, " Ara! Tarik! Back of her you little pests! You want Vrätoth to get mad at you? He wouldn't like you two pestering his mate!" The firelizards yipped and snapped between, and appeared above his head and fluttered down to his shoulders. They sat there with glum looks of shame. Z'Arian grinned, "you guys gotta stop being so pesty." He scratched their heads and returned to Eisel. "I'll make sure they don't bother her again, love."

Lintana smiled, she could hear Saterth grumble all the way at the top of the weyr. She laughed out loud and raced down to greet her friend. Lintana grabbed J'rels sleeve as she raced down the weyr.

N'lor woke up later than he usually did. It took him forever to get dressed and ready for the day. He walked out to the ledge where Kernth was sunning and kicked him playfully in the rump. "Now don't get too lazy you good for nothing lump of shell!" N'lor laughed. Kernth responded to quick for N'lor, with a tail to the back of his knees. At least I was up before noonday N'lor stayed on his back and laughed even more.

Eisel smiled. "It's not doing her any harm. Might actually be doing her some good," she replied laughingly. Umbrielth grumbled deep in her throat. Don't you love me, Mine? the queen inquired mournfully. Oh, dearheart, of course I do, Eisel replied quickly, wading into the pool to reach the massive gold's hindquarters. She scrambled up to Umbrielth's back and inched her way up her neck, a maneuver she'd gotten quite skilled at. Umbrielth emitted a sound resembling a purr and relaxed, her eyes resuming their customary blue-green color of peace.

"Well, if they do make her upset, Vrätoth won't take too kindly. He already thinks their a little pair of pains." He laughed a bit and watched as she bathed the queen. He flipped his hair back, and began to braid it to get it out of his face. He had to take a quick break to adjust his sword belt, sat down, then finished with his hair. He averted his gaze to Eisel and zoned out and continued to watch her with a small grin.

Eisel scrubbed determinedly at Umbrielth's eyeridges, working with the idea that it was possible to scratch the gold's favorite place enough that she would be satisfied for a while. Unfortunately, that didn't appear to be the case. The queen just kept begging for more. Eisel sighed frustratedly and dropped the piece of cloth she'd been using between Umbrielth's eyes as she leaned on her elbows. She was just closing her eyes for a tired moment when the gold dragoness shifted slightly and Eisel slipped off the gleaming neck into the water, letting out a strangled shriek in the ten-foot span before she hit the water.

Z'Arian noticed her falling before she screamed and was instantly on his feet. He took off at a run with no hesitation, and watched as she hit the water. He wadded in and pulled her up and out of the water. "You ok? Nearly gave me a heart attack." He pulled her close grasped her hand.

Blinking and spluttering slightly, Eisel stood up and shook her head, getting the water out of her ears. She looked at Z'Arian for a moment, then glanced back at Umbrielth, who was emitting waves of guilt and anxiety. She smiled slightly, reassuring the queen. The smile widened at Umbrielth's frantic response and she laughed, plucking at her soaked clothes that clung uncomfortably. "I'm fine," she replied between giggles. "Just wet."

Z'Arian sighed, "Ok. You scared me there." He hugged her and stepped out of the water. "Well, I'm going to go get dry, if your finished you can come with me, otherwise, would you like me to set out some dry clothes for you?"

Eisel waved a hand at him. "I'll be along in a minute. Don't bother setting anything out," she replied, wading back toward her dragon. She scaled the golden tail to Umbrielth's back and found the little niche between the queen's shoulderblades. All right, Umbrielth, it's time you were dry, she murmured to the dragoness, wrapping her arms as far around Umbrielth's neck as they would go. The golden queen got slowly to her feet and flapped her wings once or twice to shake most of the water off. She froze, poised to lunge, for a split second before shooting into the air with a powerful thrust of her wings. Eisel tucked her head down to escape the tremendous wind of takeoff and suppressed a laugh. Flying was more fun than anything else she'd ever done. After a loop of two through the chilly air, Umbrielth spiraled back to earth, her hide cool and smooth and dry from the flight. Eisel stumbled off, her legs a little unsteady from the intense shivering that wracked her body. She'd underestimated how cold one got from flying in cold air after a thorough dunking. Patting Umbrielth's side absently, she made her way to the stairs and started up, rubbing her hands together tremblingly.
