Jet noticed Grace's left eye turned red. On pure instinct he was on his feet and got some distances between himself and Grace. After getting some distance, he stood in a defensive position. "Your not an average human, are you?" He asked while his eyes unknowingly turned red.

"That I'm not sure of." Jet said as his right hand grabbed the hilt of his sword. His nose then caught a whiff of something in the wind. The source was coming from the forest. Suddenly two lighting bolts came zipping out of the forest. One was aimed at Jet the other was aimed at Grace. Jet quickly swung his sword with so much speed that it caused the air the sword went through to turn in to a blade of wind and canceled out the lighting attack. He then noticed the other lighting attack was aimed a Grace. On instinct he caused another wind blade and deflected the lighting attack that was aimed at Grace.

The creature stayed behind the tree line. "I thought that scent was familiar, nightmare creature." Jet said. "So, you faced others before myself." The nightmare creature said. That voice, why does it sound familiar? Jet thought as he stared at the tree line.

"I attack whoever i want, whenever i want and my name is of no importance to people that are dead." The nightmare creature said as he charged at Grace. "Lighting claw!!" The nightmare creature said as electricity surrounded his claw. Jet suddenly remembered why the nightmare creature's voice sounded so familiar. Jet quickly got between the nightmare creature and Grace. "Why go after her first when you have unfinished businesses with me." Jet said as he blocked the attack.
"Unfinished businesses, what unfinished businesses?" The nightmare creature asked in confusion.
"You don't remember the night you came to my house and killed my family?" Jet asked with rage.
"The only time I did that was when I..." The nightmare creature said before he was interrupted.
"Murdered my parent, Jake and Mary Highflight 11 years ago." Jet interrupted and knocked the nightmare creature back several feet.

In the mites of Jet's rage, he unknowingly changed into his hybrid form. As he changed to hybrid form his sword changed as well. After Jet changed into his hybrid form, he held his left hand out to his side. After doing so a second sword materialized under his hand. When the sword finished materializing, he grabbed it and swung both swords into a fighting stances.

The nightmare creature was surprised to see Jet change forms, but didn't think it would help Jet. Both Jet and the nightmare creature charged at each other at the same time. Once they both got with in attacking range a fearsome fight begun. Several moments later, the nightmare creature realized that Jet was stronger then he expected. he quickly changed tactics by grabbing Hope. "Don't move if you want her to live." the nightmare creature threatened as his claw was barely against Hope's throat. when Jet realized what happened, it unlocked all the rage that collected within him from the eleven years ago. All the rage that was unleashed took the form of black energy that surrounded Jet. Jet looked at the nightmare creature with eyes that glowed blood red. "Die."Jet said before he vanished. Jet reappeared behind the nightmare creature. Few seconds later the nightmare creature fell to pieces.

After Jet killed the nightmare creature, he reverted back to his original form and fell to his knees. Jet fell deep into thought of the recent events.

"what happened to me?" Jet said as he raise his right hand in front of himself.
