Alex went back to looking at the files for a moment, one in particular catching her eye. "Hmmm....." Removing the paper she went to the phone and dialed Cat.
"Hello, this is Cat."
"Cat, it's Alex. Hey, I got a file here on a UH your friend Tori may want to add to your team. His name's Cain Requiem. He's a cage fighter with heightened physical strength and such."
"Alright, cool, I'll relay the info to Tori and see what she thinks. Thanks Alex."
"Yep, talk to ya later." Alex hung up and replaced the paper with the others before setting it aside once more. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "Hope the guys doesn't mind unexpected visits from strangers."

Seth walked up behind Alex and kissed the back of neck, wrapping his arms around her. "Hey baby." He said with a wide smile. It was a bit of a relief not to have to worry about buisness anymore. "You know you should just transfer all your files to Tori, we could both be done with this ya know?" He rubbed her stomach and then moved his hands upwards.

Alex smiled and relaxed into him a bit. "Well, I don't know..." she placed a hand over his and looked up at him. "I might need to be persuaded a bit more first." she joked, giving him a kiss.

Alex had just helped the last drunk out of the bar, making sure he was on steady feet before closing the door. Going about cleaning up before locking up the power flickered a few times. "The hell was that?" a few seconds later the power went out completely. Alex moved, with much stumbling and tripping, around the bar and grabbed a flashlight. Turning it on she went to the door and opened it, looking outside. Every building was pitch black, as where the street lights. A faint orange glow came from off in the distance, and Alex could pick up the sound of explosions coming from the same direction. Her brain registered that everything was coming from HEC, and it caused a small lump to form in the pit of her stomach. 'I really hope your not over there Seth...'

Alex paced up and down the sidewalk outside her home, fiddling with the ring on her finger. She hadn't seen Seth all day, more so, she knew for a fact that he was at HEC. But really was running her nerves ragged was not knowing what excatly was going on, as well as not being able to help. She looked back up at teh glowing sky, biting her bottom lip in thought. A moment later and she was running up teh sidewalk toward the chaos.

Alex let out a breath as they appeared in their bedroom. Not too use to teleporting yet, but she didn't mind it. "Ah, home sweet home." she smiled and gave gave Seth a hug and a quick kiss. "So how you holding up?" she asked, wondering what he thought about the twist things had taken.

((Wow last i was here was on chained.))
"Honestly i have no idea." He tried to recall the days events. "Ive spent the month trying to regain complete control of my powers. My brother is back from the dead, Riot is now the leader of the H.E.C by default and Kain well...Kain doesnt want us dead anymore." That last part was a bonus but yet and still he couldnt understand how all this could possibly fit into 24 hours.
"Long day..." He looked over at her and smiled. "How are you holding up?"

She smiled. "Considering I've spent majority of day here, working. I'd say I'm doing okay. Granted that the events up at the reactor got my heart racing, but that's about it." She took a seat on the bed. "Curious as to who the new little scientist was, didn't like him at all."

"Well something does tell me we will be hearing from him again." He thought for a moment. Then he got down on his knees in front of her, sitting down he put his head on her lap. "Micah is alive..."

She nodded, with the way things were going, she had no doubt he'd show up again. Alex looked down and gently ran her fingers through is hair. "Hard to tell, are you relieved, or upset?" she asked softly.

"Im relieved that i dont have to hold his death on my mind. I am upset that the b*****d is alive." He smiled yes he had always disliked his brother, but at least now they had second chance. "Maybe we can fix our relationship now. He is family..." He looked up at her and smiled, he took her hand from his hand and kissed her palm. "Sorry i left for so long... Were you ok while i was gone?"

Alex nodded in understanding, smiling as he looked up at her. "I was fine, aside from being worried. Kind of scary when my husband to be leaves for so long, and even I don't hear anything about whats going on." she joked. "But I ran the bar for a few nights here and there, finished with the files when I wasn't, I was about to have Cat come and get them to take them to Tori."

He looked at her resting his head on her. He wrapped an arm around her leg and just sat thinking.
"I love you and im sorry i left. Me and my brother hate each other because each of us killed someone close to the other when we lost control of our powers." It was a long story. Back in the days when neither of them knew what they were really capable of. After that year they both knew...

"No some things are best left unspoken i s'pose." He looked around them as he spoke. Noticing how odd it was to be back in this room where everything started. She stood in the door way as he tried to fall asleep in her bed, confusing it for the guest one. Funny how some things can start so small...
"I didnt think things would wind up like this. You know its funny, i cant see the future. I can read minds -i dont read yours btw, i figure you like your privacy. But i will say if you want to try handcuffs just ask-, i can read an entire persons past just by touching come thing they touch, i can move things, i can fly, i can do and create almost anything. But i cant see the future..." He concentrated for a moment and a beautiful fully bloomed black rose appeared in her lap next to his head. "Why?" He smiled at the rose as he compared it to his own beautiful wife. "Because some things are worth waiting to know." He looked up at her. "Like you."
