"Not time for questions," the Russian man told him, kicking the MP away from him. "Николэй!" he shouted, "Помогите мне искать его!" Another man appeared, quickly patted down Lito, and removed his various other weapons from him, then disappeared back to behind Lito's line of sight. "You are wounded?" the man with his foot on Lito's chest said.

Jack heard voices and slowly slid down the chute as SLOWLY as he could. He was about a foot from Lito pulled a flash bang out. "Cover your eyes." He whispered loud enough for Lito to hear. He pulled the pin and tossed it.

The Russian man saw it. "Другой воин! Он имеет гранату!" (Another soldier! He has a grenade!) He leapt forward, dropping his whole weight onto Jack and slapping one hand onto Jack's gun hand - effectively, if Jack wanted to fight, he'd have to struggle with the Russian man, who he now realized was very large and very muscular.
The other one who had been unequipping Lito pinned Lito down to ensure nothing came of it.
The flashbang went off and everyone was blinded, deafened, and lost their balance; fragments of the flashbang cut into Jack but left no substantial damage other than a little burn.

Lito struggled for a moment, then went limp as the grenade went off. His head was spinning and his ears were ringing.

((Oh, you should be able to see, huh? IR goggles and what not.))
The hole was long, but there was a ledge and a door on the far side. There appeared to be Star Wars-esque controls on the far side or something. None on this side.
Paul was looking downward, flashlight trying to illuminate the bottom. It appeared to run into... water. That was it, there was running water down there. Paul's eyes narrowed, but he didn't say anything.
The three full-suits came up behind Paul and Devin. "That room's clear. They were having a Communist Party," one of them joked.

"Looks like nothing worth getting to on our side and there doesn't seem to be a way across. Let's check up on the other guys."

"Sounds good. I heard gunfire and a flashbang," Paul commented, but he didn't move even when the others did, not for a long moment. He just kept staring down into the water. "I wonder," he murmured, but didn't finish and went after with Devin.
They found the slide just as it had been.

"Wondered what?" Devin asked, stopping at the top of the slide.

Lito groaned, then groaned again. Maybe they would hear him.

"Well... That could've been the sewer, but it didn't smell like it, now did it?" Paul commented. With his talking, they sadly did not hear Lito. "They must've gone into it, I wonder why..."
The Russians were beginning to come out of their daze; the one with the AKS-74u seemed more experienced, since he was already back on his feet with the rifle pointed at Jack's chest.

"Mmm. I'm gonna head down here, since this is probably where they went, right?" Devin went in headfirst, gun to the front, slowly lowering himself with his legs and hands. He didn't have a fear of heights, but he was... a bit nervous about the drop. Three limbs controlling his descent, one limb aiming his USP forward....

Lito recovered as well. He pushed himself up on his elbows, but did not yet try to stand.

((Yeah, sorry.))
The Russian with the AK pushed him down again, then stopped to listen. Did he hear...?
Devin could see first, but it didn't make a difference - the Russian had heard and was about to unleash a spray of lead right at his position, probably sweeping up the ramp.

Devin called himself a marksman.
And Devin had high standards.
If Devin couldn't shoot someone with a pistol while halfway to being upside down on an incline with one hand, he wouldn't call himself a marksman.
Bang, bang, bang.
He fired as he released his grip on the slide.
