The sound of the door opening was like a canon went off by his ear. Giving a low crackling hiss, his eyes shone for a moment as they reflect the light leaking into the room. He pushed his upper body with his arms, his legs slowly working themselves under the covers, until they tuck under his body. His forearms rested on his legs now as he crouched on the bed. His ears still rang, a second drum was being added to the drum. Hmmm....human or pokemon? The air said both, but he truly could care less.
Hearing the voice be far too loud, his mind click, telling him to get rid of this creature with minimal injury. He question this and suddenly felt veil rise up to his throat. Scrambling to the side of the bed, he began to throw up whatever contents were left from his breakfast. All that pain, all that blinding, stomach-wrenching pain. Why was his body so beat up? His mind couldn't register anything until he manage to raise his head. His eyes locking on the woman, a hatred blinding them. "Leave...." His voice low, icy and cracking with a growl that was rumbling his chest. Only he could understand was that he was hurting, and that this woman needed to leave before he decided on something.

Daniel looked through the fridge for a couple of minutes before he decided to just reheat yesterday stew dinner for himself and Veil while he prepare some commercial pokefood for the pokemons. He wasn't good at cooking, actually, he was quiet horrible at it expect some simple stuff.

Veil could just make out the man in the pitch dark of the room, and immediately her foot lifted forwards a half step. Literally half of her form was urging her into the room to aid what her mind told her was a fellow injured pokemon…however the other half told her it was a predator to stay away from. The other half was winning, as the door slipped open a bit more. There was such pain in this room. Shifting forwards, this time with a bit more hesitation, her hand started to leave the door as she proceeded.

That's when a pair of fangs clutch the back of Veil's sweater and pulled her back forcefully. A muffle growl coming through as Faraon pulled her further back.
Daniel came running, by passed them and close the door, leant against it, panting before eh screamed when something hit the door on the other side at full force. His eyes were wide as he manage to pull himself away and he looked at Veil over. She was alright, okay, good. "........................Are you nuts?!"

Songwriter and Faraon had seen her go by down that hall, Writer, of course, went after Daniel while Faraon made sure she didn't do something stupid. Unfortunately, she had.

A growl came from the other side of the door before there was a loud shuffle, something shattering and then silence.

Daniel hissed towards the pokemon and Veil. "Go. To. The. Kitchen. Now."

Veil stared at him for a moment, considering what this situation looked like. A youngman yelling at her, but unfortunately he head reason. And still, she was a guest and had to abide by rules. Blinking back her pokemon instincts, her eyes cleared and she blinked out a worrying fold in her brow. "Apologies." Patting the blind Persian on his furry dome in a chipper greeting, she tottered down the hallway like the 14 year old's body she had would have, back in it's proper day. Then turning back while biting her lip she looked up at the young man.
"Please, just make sure he's okay."

Daniel's eyes narrow in their own accord, willing her to just go. Faraon rubbed against her leg gently and will her walk again, giving soft puff of air through his nose and purrrring growls.
The teenager leaned against the door once she was out of sight and his body slide down to the ground as he breath out. Songwriter watched him worriedly before turning his head towards the door, giving a low chirp. Daniel trembled and rose to his feet, his hand wrapped around the knob and for a moment, he thought about just leaving as it was, but then he open the door and sighed at the sight that greet him.

Adriel lay on the bed, on his stomach, upper body rose by his arms. His eyes were narrow, angry and sad, almost resentful. "I smell fear from you, child..."

Daniel shivered, if the healer had a tail, it would probably be flickering like a cat looking at prey or wagging madly like a dog's. Probably, thought, Adriel would have a cat tail....never seen him much as dog person....The stupid thought came through his head. "....You did slam against the door rather hard....What broke?"

"Some meaningless thing..." The voice was raspy and icy. Adriel was in some kind of mode of his, some self-preserving thing, he had tried to explain to Daniel once, but the teenager couldn't wrapped his mind around it.

"You better leave, child, thought do mind bring me some food, I feel faint..."

"Of course...." He close the door, and shivered. That room was colder then the rest of the house. He ponder why, maybe the heating went wasn't open. He would have to check when Adriel was feeling safer to be himself. Shaking away the rest, he walked with Writer back to the kitchen, quickly taking the out the stew from the flames, he went back to preparing the rest of the pokemon food.

Veil had walked all the way back to the greenhouse, needing to find some sort of comfort…or perhaps just an outlet for her mothering ways that were rising at the moment. Taking in a shaky breath, which she could have sworn a sob tried to escape out of, she quickly padded down the stairs to where the mattress lay. The arcanine’s head rising in a more than expectant mood, he seemed to be let down at just the presence of the woman. Sniffing the air anyways, just to check for any smuggled food, he doggie huffed before laying his head back down beside his human pet. Adjusting his comfort level with a snuggle, Bones moaned a bit at this disturbance. Crossing the floor, she knelt soundlessly against the man. His brow was still furrowed slightly in his unconscious state; a few beads of sweat had formed from his exertion against the fever.
Reaching out with her hand, she brushed his forehead to tag the level of his fever again. It hadn’t improved, but it didn’t seem to have gotten worse. Letting a light sigh of relief pass, she slipped down a bit and layed on her hip a bit while still sitting beside him. His shoulder had turned all sorts of colors, the muscles tightening up around the wound to try to keep from damaging his body further. Hence the pain he was breathing out in short bursts. The attack had been remarkable, slicing so finely even an untrained eye like hers knew it was ‘beautiful’ in a way. For a moment, she thought Bones was almost lucky to be getting this lesson…but then she knew he was in real pain and wished it was her pain instead. For his sake. Thinking, she knew his fever might be lowered if she used her ‘leech life’ abilities on him, but then…there was so little blood left in him…it would be more damaging in the long run.

Nudging against the mattress she laid her head down on its side, next to Bones’ left arm. It was less damaged than the other, so hopefully if it got bumped it wouldn’t bother him that much. Resting her head on her arms, she blinked and just watched him. It’d been so long since she’d seen him last. Even under dire circumstances, she was thrilled that he was here beside her. Almost as if he’d heard her thoughts, a hand rose and patted her on the head. A coarse chuckle escaping his lips he eyed her slightly. She just watched him for a moment, their eyes meeting in a second of understanding. Veil’s own hand reaching up to support his, his grip slackened. So weak. Veil thought for a moment, that Adriel could do anything to him at this point, if he so chose in a moment of rage. And that she, Daniel, and even Cooper could be powerless to stop him…and that scared her a little. Motherly instincts were really something.

Taking out a trolley, Daniel labor away at filling the bottom half with three bowls of pokefood. One rather large, for the the arcanine, the second was almost half its size, for Faraon, and then there was a plate full of bird pokefood for Songwriter.
On the top, he put out four bowls and served out the thick warm stew into each one. Before he filled the last one, he stared at it for some time, half thinking maybe he should just filled it with either raw meat or pokefood. In the back of his head, he heard some little voice yell at him for being a bit insensitive about this as he poured the stew into it, making sure it was mostly meat.

He looked at Faraon and Songwriter and began to walk out of the room, closely follow by the two pokemon. Walking over to the green house, he pushed the trolley in and pulled out the large bowl of pokefood out and put it down near the mattress. Taking out the other dishes of pokefood, he put down Faraon's nearby and Writer's on a large perch made for the pidgeot. "You two eat here, okay?" He got not complaint, but for a huffy persian.

Dan admitted he wasn't Adriel, he couldn't cook beyond tv dinners and toast and mostly pre-prepare foods. He could understand Faraon's light anger. The feline pokemon had been eating homemade pokefood made by Adriel specifically for him and hunted prey the persian took down all his life, to be downgraded to commercial pokefood was an insult to his stomach. "Sorry, Fafa..."

The feline gave a low glare but ate, he was low on energy from the attack earlier.

Daniel sighed and picked up two bowls of stew and utensils, come over to Veil and handing them to her. "Here. Adriel always says if you can at least get him to eat just a tiny little bit, it always helps a ton." He took the third bowl and sat down, starting to eat. Adriel could wait, the longer Dan took, the more likely Adriel wasn't in one of his modes by the time he got to the master bedroom.

Bones blinked transparently in question as the arcanine lifted lightly from the mattress, a hint of eagerness in his movements. The food smelled like nothing he could imagine, and his stomach rumbled in agreement. Sticking his nose into the pile of food, he began to chew greedily the food provided, ignoring the other diners beside him. Nothing else existed to Cooper at the moment, his ears tucked back and tail wagging happily, sounds of happy eating filled the room.
With nothing to lean on anymore, Bones panicked a bit in his state of half-awareness. Arm shooting out to hold himself up, his teeth clenched in pain as a snap could be heard while his arm extended almost unnaturally. One of the stitches had snapped, minimum. Before he could register why there was pain and what had happened, Veil was already there grasping his shoulder to help him keep his balance and not damage himself further. “Hold still.” She breathed lightly, as she grasped the pillow and a spare blanket and managed to prop him up without him needing to use his muscles. More than willing to have the support, he let her help him…for his mind was thinking only of the pain he’d just inflicted himself.

Head flopping back against the tower of fluff behind him, Bones muttered quietly. Veil couldn’t make out the words, as she’d slipped away and was fiddling with a bowl of stew. Now she realized how hungry she really was.

Eyeing the swirling food in the thick broth hungrily, she swallowed that thought and turned on her knees to face Bones a bit. He was still preoccupied with his stunt of stupidity moments earlier. Eyes tracking at the ceiling, she knew right now his vision was really weak as well…making him even more fretful. There were a few things that Bones’ didn’t deal well with. Winter, fevers, blood loss, and pain. He had a smorgasbord of it all right here. Mixing the stew idly, she considered for a moment if he’d be able to even keep it down with the fever he had. Raising a brow and sighing, she fished out a small chunk of meat from the stew with her fingers and tapped it against the corner of his mouth. A second later his lips parted to allow the food in, his mind probably wishing it was more pain killers. Veil noticed this when he hesitated, and then began to chew begrudgingly. Silly.

Searching for another small piece, Bones cleared his throat in a signaling manner. Looking back up, his eyes were tilted in her generally direction and she knew full well that he couldn’t really make her out. “Later.” He managed to get out, still working on that piece of meat from before. It was good, but it was so much work to chew right now. He needed to just lay there for a while longer, he decided.

Daniel watched as he ate his food, swallowing with some difficulty himself, but for other reasons. After he was halfway finish with his own bowl, he walked over to the arcanine's bowl and poured the rest into it. "I am going to bring Adriel his food....I'll be back in a bit..."
Putting down the empty bowl on the trolley, he picked up the last bowl and the utensils, thought he hardly thought they were needed as he walked off towards the master bedroom. Entering the bedroom, he was a little happier with what he saw. Adriel lay in the bed, arms slightly crossed strangely, covering his face somewhat. He looked asleep, but the hints of purple he could see gave away that he was just keeping his eyes close.

Sitting on the bed, Daniel tilted his head. "How are you feeling...?"

"Like s**t....did you get the number of that bus that hit me...?"

"Nope..." He chuckled softly. "Why don't you sit up and get some food, Heal?"

"You haven't called me that in a while....." He muttered with sleep heavy voice. "Too sleepy...."

Daniel nudge him carefully. "Oh, come on, be a humming bird on crack for me, just a little bit. You need something in your stomach."

 "....He poison me didn't he..."

 "Yes"

"Remind me to french kiss him..."

"What?!" Daniel stare at him as Adriel open his eyes and gave a sleepy grin.

"He seemed straight to me, I am sure he won't appreciate it."

 "Right...right...sit up please..."

To say that Cooper was overjoyed at MORE food would have been an understatement. He even had taken the time to look at Veil with a pleased grin on his doggie face. If he was a human he’d be giggling madly. Diving back into the meal, it was quickly gone leaving him to lick at his face happily with his backwards ‘R’ marked tongue. Veil smirked a bit as she lifted the bowl to her lips and slipped a piece of meat into her own mouth. Spearing it with the fangs, it made her grin with a satisfied smile. Tasty food was even better when hungry. Bones didn’t seem to care either way however, lying with his eyes closed and his head back looking up at the ceiling still. His breathing had evened again, but he still looked so serious in his face while fighting the pain.
Each party found a way to preoccupy themselves in the time left alone.

Daniel helped Adriel leaned against the headboard of the bed and hand him the bowl, not surprise when Adriel did not take the utensils to eat the contents. Sighing with amusement, the teenager went off to clean up the broken pieces of what had been a lamp and what the healer had vomit earlier.
By the time he came out of the bathroom from cleaning his hands and throwing away the paper towels and pieces of the lamp, Adriel was half way down with his food and still hungrily taking it in. Once again, the teen perched himself on the side of the bed.

"I been thinking..." Adriel licked his lips, still holding a rather hungry look in his face.

"That's a new one. Don't hurt yourself." Daniel grinned as he got a mild glare.

"Huff.....I been thinking, I shouldn't french him, cause...sticking my tongue in his mouth..well, he could bite me."

"Ah, I see your common sense has come back...."

"Heh...I suppose..." The healer sipped some broth. "So I opted for groping his a** or crotch..."

"And there goes your common sense out the window again, man, you can't keep a leash on that thing, huh?"

"mmmm hmmm.." The older man took a mouthful of food.

Cooper’s nose sniffed the air and searched for more food. Ears perking, he clambered past the other eating pokemon and tried to mooch from Veil. The girl was going to have none of this, almost hissing at him for it. Cooper was torn, but then his nose picked up another scent. MORE FOOD. Hopping to, he scaled the stairs and headed into the kitchen. There was food still. It was close. Trying to make himself as small and careful as possible, he decided to sneak up on the one with the food. Through the halls and past a doorway he peeked, and found two men sitting on the bed. One was the teen from before who had shared the food with him, but the other was the tall white haired man…who had snuggled with him but not shared food back!! In almost distress, he approached the pair in attempt to mooch more food.

Adriel looked up and blinked a couple of times. "I think I am more messed up then I thought...."
"huh? Why?" Daniel blinked and looked over to the door. "I told Santiago the halls he designed were big enough for an arcanine to prance around, but nooooooo, he said I was exaggerating...."

Adriel laughed softly and then groaned, rubbing his abdomen as pain shoot through him from the bruised area. "You are....Cooper, right?" He held out what was left of his food towards the arcanine. "Is this what you want? Huh? You didn't come up here to check up on little injure me?"

Daniel chuckled. "Yay, the humming bird on crack is coming!"

Adriel blinked confuse at his brother. "Huh?"

 "Nothing..." Daniel smiled widely.

Cooper dove for the food in the bowl but halted at a familiar smell. Sniffing at the healers wrist, he found and inkling of Veil's scent there...along with some blood. Giving it a considerate lick for a moment in almost a glee that spoke he knew something about what had transpired earlier, he then dug into the bowl knocking it from his grip to the floor. Almost snorting as he ate, all the food was quickly gone once more.

Veil wiped the corner of her mouth and placed the bowl to her side on the floor. Looking back she watched as Bones had drifted out completely from his disturbed state from a little earlier, the pain seemingly dissipated from earlier he was just resting quietly. His mind was a mess she knew, and he could actually chill knowing she was there and safe. A smile broke her lips as she flopped down beside him with a smile.

The healer watched Cooper for a moment before he slipped off the bed slowly, groaning in pain.
Daniel tilted his head. "Where do you think you are going?"

Adriel smiled warmly. "I thought I would check up on the idiot."

"You are still hurt, get back in bed!" Daniel jumped to his feet and pointed at the bed. The older man just rose an eyebrow, smirked and walked out of the room, leaving the teenager to rest a hand on his face and shakes his head. "Dear lord....Adriel!" He went after him. "Go back to bed!"
