Lance stumbled backwards, reeling from the blow. No deflection had been possible, and stars filled his vision. Then there was a strike to his back - there was no way to prevent it - and the uppercut followed -
But Lance's hands were completely out of his control, and thus when his right one left a gash straight down Schraeder's chest, it was completely incidental, but completely true nonetheless.
As Schraeder teleported, however, all three of the
Adams fighting The Thief looked over their shoulders to figure out what was going on - and in that moment, The Thief spread his arms and gathered brilliant, visible color around his hands, then launched it into the walls.
The walls exploded outwards, and the ceiling began collapsing.
Every remaining Host in the room (excluding Agent R but including The Thief himself) was dragged through the shadows.
