(Yes but remember Tempest is taking it easy on the recruits so it's not necessarily that Hunter is faster than he is.)
Tempest moved back, giving Hunter a slight break.

mystic..darkness13 (( yeah true... but getting hit every once and a while even in practice is normal, just don't doge every hit it kills the fun XD)) ((Masochist! Actually, being the captain of eleventh squad, I think the same thing sometimes. The only problem is I'm usually fighting Greed and if I don't somehow dodge or block his attacks it usually means I'm headed very quickly to a very dead state. Not every attack needs to rip out an opponent's jugular either...))

 Niomi sighs as usual and stays unusually quite to observe the room for a bit. There was Hunter and Tempest sparring. Lizzy had just fell. And, Kisuke running off to some unknown place. Niomi stares at everyone and then finally talks, "I'm going to sleep..." She just props herself up on the table and curls there. A few moments later, she seemed to be deep into her sleep. Since when was it "right" for someone to sleep on a table during combat classes, especially for a captain.

Hunter has a huge grin on his face. He has enjoyed every moment of action so far. "no, but have you?" a very dumb question as Hunter is soaked in sweat, and Tempest has barely tried; but it wasnt meant to be a serious question. The second after he has said it he charges Tempest hoping that he let his guard down for a split second, but keeps his center of gravity low so that he may be able to jump over anything that Tempest throws at him, and do a secret agent roll out of the way of a downward attack. It is as if he was bent over to pick something up, but running, and carrying his Zanpakuto with both hands. when he approaches it becomes clear that he is trying to take Tempest to the ground by whacking his upper leg.

After awhile Kairoi finally realizes that more people are in the classroom now. & looks up only to find two guys sparring. She then decides to put away her sketch pad & focus rather intently on the sparring group in the hopes of learning who exactly they are. The first thing to catch her attention is the man standing up, his weapons & the way he is standing. Then her eyes trace his gaze to the man on the floor which she assumes to be another student. She frowns, for it becomes quite clear that she had missed a good part of the beginning of their sparring session. Then gets up & starts walking towards them.

Tempest dropped to the ground seemingly as if the attack has hit him. Before using his arms in order to do aim a kick at Hunter's open body parts. When he finished, he rolled and backflipped before charging to continue his assault by jumping to attack Hunter from the top (Don't worry just an attack that would twack him over the head.)

Hunter; still half recovering from from the kick,has too little time too block Tempest's downward attack so he moves out of the way (maybe a smarter Idea anyways). Then, hunter attacks exactly as tempest touches the ground, at a position where it may be harder to block with his tonfa, and easier to draw his Zan.

Tempest didn't waste any time, he shunpoes behind Hunter and effectively dodges the blow and giving him a great spot to attack from behind.
"Boo!"
Tempest did two quick jabs with his tonfas and then a third blow that was aimed upwards. The skill itself is a toned down version where the original skill would release a sudden flare from the bottom of the third blow.

Hunter does a secret agent roll out of the way of the first one, blocks the second with his Zanpakuto, and was only able to block the third with his arm- the one that wields his Zanpakuto. however; with his left hand he has been focusing his other hand he uses the seal of patience on Tempest's tonfa.
If Tempest doesn't try anything like kidou; then Hunter gives a "good teacher" nod to Kisuke, and says "gotta use Zan. , huh?"

Tempest instinctively let go of his sealed tonfa then pointing his index and middle fingers of his right hand at Hunter's right hand he said, "Hadou #4: Byakurai!"
Immediately, a white lightning shot out and travelled quickly to Hunter's right hand before he dashed and performed a roundhouse kick with his right foot, a upward kick and an axe kick with his left foot followed by kick aimed at Hunter's torso with his right foot.

Then realizing the sparring match still isn't over Kairoi stops to watch at a safe distance away. And since she doesn't know either of them does not feel like getting involved. However, she does take notice that the one who has his Zan. on him is using kidou. & realizes he is in her kidou class but still doesn't want to fight, at least not yet.
