 Again should be obvious from the title, but in case it isn't, basically, its basic combat. Instructors vary since we're kind of short-handed, and even when we get more members the instructor will probably still change pretty much all the time. Juuichibu no taichou (learn japanese on the main forum!) says he'll sometimes sit-in on these classes, but knowing him there's no way he'll be sitting the whole time. Thank whatever god you pray to he uses a wooden sword here. Students get to use nameless zanpakuto. Return them when you're finished... stare The class room is just a long room with wooden floors and no desk. In the far corner is a stack of wooden swords students can practice with. Beside that along the entire wall, are protective armor used for combat.

Hunter walks in on his first day of class, and surveys the class for the teacher, potential friends, Hot girls, room layout etc.
(What does he see in the classroom?)

Niomi was coincidentally in the room when hunter walked in. Hearing footsteps she turns around to greet him, "Oh, Hello there. So you've just enrolled in the academy have you?" Niomi smiles, "Allow me to introduce myself, I am the 3rd Squad Captain, Niomi Tayune. And you?"
((Nio, this is Kisuke (my name means spiritual assistance! x3), if the newbie makes a mistake like forgetting to put OOX stuff in brackets, make sure to tell him so. Oh and you should probably add a short description of what you look like in case he hasn't peeked at your bio, just for kicks. I mean, you're just a little girl after all))

"Hunter", he grumbles, and gives her a look that says 'yep, she is the teacher', and sneaks around her so skillfully it was as if it was practiced.
cmbat class)? How many people are in the room? How does the class seem to have organized itself? I know no other actual people have enrolled in the class yet, but surely there has to be NPC (non player character) type characters.>

Tempest sat on one of the desk. Reading a book he found from his rather small collection.
"Hey Niomi-taichou, why don't you show him what he's gonna do?"
Tempest said it casually without looking up from his book. What he heard earlier was more than enough.
(BTW NPCs are usually made up by us. So yea... expect some NPCs in the future.)

Hunter turns around to face Niomi, and looks at her coolly, and Expectantly; with a very slight nod of his head that almost says "whats up".

Niomi takes a seat at one of the other desk out of the only 5 in the room which were laid out bordering the room so the middle was clear. She sweat drop, "Umm...heh...no...I really don't teach...I was just here to look around. So sorry". Niomi then looked at Hunter. " Looking around I guess. So, why as the reason you want to become a shinigami?"

"my father was one" he replies dryly, as if he has a distaste for his father and refuses to tell his reasons for wanting to be a shinigami. "so, your really a captain?!?" , "that's pretty cool." He gives her a look that says that being a captain is one of his goals.

Niomi crossed her fingers of both hands together and leaned forward resting her chin on them. "Oh? So you were born in the soul society?" Niomi asked curiously being slightly jealous of the fact she was not. "What? do I not look like one from my appearance?" Niomi asked for she looked like that of a 14 year old.

"TEMPEST!" the door slams open with the dramatic entrance of the 2nd squad captain "there you are, i have some orders for you, just assembling a squad , weve got reporst of high concentration of hollows in some areas in russia, abnormal concentrations, and i would like you to send one or two squads to check that out, im too busy with paperwork on repairs and stuff, so lend me a hand, here" he walks over to tempest and hands him the orders "tell your men to report their finding directly to me, I clasify this as a highly dangerous mission in account of the concentration of hollows so chose the men wisely", Greed then turns around and sees Niomi ".... Niomi... your teaching the initiates?! wow I didn't know you liked to teach. I thought this would be more of a Kisuke thing to do, with all the showing off he does why not do that in front of the greenest of the green?"

Niomi walks over to greed fiercely and karate chops his head. "Baka! Baka! Baka! Baka! Moto Baka! You ruined Nio's moment of professionalism!" She yells at him hitting him each time she yells baka.

Hunter gives tempest a look that says 'id give anything to go, too bad I am an academy student and dont have a chance'. But tempest probably doesn't see it because it lasted for a very short time because his attention was immediately drawn to niomi chopping greed.(oh well)
