Roxas smiled widely at Sora's words. "You really think he likes me that much?" he asked, hope hidden in his voice. "I...um...do...do you think I'll be able to apologize to him today..?" he asked sheepishly. "Could...one of you check and see if his mom's left yet? Just...look in the window of his room or something..? I just...feel really bad..."
"Ooh! Yeah, I'll go check for you," Demyx said happily, jumping up. "She's probably still in there, but I'll definitely go check!" He walked happily out of the room and down the hall. Upon reaching Axel's door, he knocked on it gently before poking his head inside. "Is this a bad time?" he asked cautiously. "Roxas would actually like to say something to both of you, I think."
Roxas looked up at Sora after Demyx left. "Sora...I...know I like Axel...a lot... I can feel it in my chest how much I like him... I...just don't know...if I...l-love...him or not... I...don't know what it feels like... How am I supposed to know if I do or not..?" He looked frustrated as he seemed to be asking Sora for an answer.

Axel's emerald eyes helplessly darted to the door when it was knocked on. He was crying... Which honestly was an extremely rare sight all in it's own. Axel did not cry. He just didn't. In fact when he did... he often just pretended it wasn't happening... that it was just raining somehow right over where ever he was. His mother, definitely not any happier now herself, looked up at the blonde too. "No, I'm sorry Demyx this is not a good time. Axel and I are talking and I would like it very much if you would please leave right now." his mother stated harshly. Axel said nothing to oppose this decreed. In fact, all he did was stare over at Demyx with his tear-filled eyes... like was trying to send him a message telepathically, but it wasn't working

Demyx flinched at Axel's mother's tone. He quickly apologized, looking down at the floor. "Um...just...let me know when it's a better time, please...if you could..," he mumbled and quickly slipped out of the room, shuttign the door quietly behind him. He felt like all of the happiness had just been drained out of his body, tears coming to his eyes at the sight of how miserable Axel was. That woman was like one of those dementor things from Harry Potter sometimes... He leaned up against the wall outside of the door , sliding down to the floor as he wiped his tears away. He didn't want to go back to Roxas's room now that he was so upset. He would just make them upset, and Roxas just now seemed to be getting happy.

Sora smiled a little at Roxas and his questions of love. It warmed his heart to know that Roxas trust him enough to help him when he was confused about how he felt. Most guys honestly didn't let anyone help them at time like that. Most just pushed the subject away again and again until the answer came flying right at their face. "Well. I can't say for sure, because I think real love is different for everyone, but I think when you love someone, it is something that you feel no matter what he is happening. Anyone can like someone during the good times, but it is the bad times where I think true love comes from." Sora tried to explain hoping it made sense. He had a tendency to say things and even elaborate on things that no one had any clue what he was talking about.

Roxas scrunched his face up a bit, thinking hard on Sora's words. After a while, he said, "So...if someone keeps liking a person after they do something stupid like...like not fighting back when they're getting brutally beat because of something they said or...initially approaching someone because of a silly bet...or...or something like that..? That...might be love?" he asked softly, face still in concentration-mode. "What about...no matter what someone does...they can't get the other person off of their mind?" he asked, looking up at the brunette again, realization seeming to click in his mind. "Or...it kills someone...to be away from that person when they're hurt and they know it's their fault...and they want to fix it, but they can't...and they feel like they'll never forgive theirself whether the other person is still a friend or they hate them? If...everything someone screws up and they realize it...it makes them want to cry because they might have ruined something they've never had with someone before?" Tears flooded his eyes, slowly falling down his cheeks. "Is...th-that love?"

Sora smiled a little thinking about what Riku meant to him as Roxas listed off all the many things that proved his love for Axel. "You know, I could be wrong, but that sounds a lot like love to me, and hey, if it isn't love, it is pretty darn close to it." Sora said with a smile still playing daintily on his lips as he moved to Roxas and hugged him comfortingly. "But it is okay to love Axel, you know that right? he won't hurt you... he likes you too much."Sora said softly leaning his head against Roxas's. There was a part of him that couldn't wait for Demyx to get back and hear the same thing he just hear out of Roxas lips. It was like watching a child take his first steps.

"So...I...love Axel..," he whispered, staring into space in disbelief. Tears stilled, the last one falling off of his chin into his lap. "I do...but...I-I can't tell him now. Not when he doesn't love me, right? Or...or is it okay to let someone know? Even if they don't return it completely? I-I don't want to put any kind of pressure on him. And if we did g-get together, I think it would pressure him. I don't know. I'm so scared I'm going to screw up again. I don't want to scare him away..." He bit his lip, unknowing of what to do. "Sora, what do I do? I-I'm not gonna do anything right, I know it. I'm gonna mess everything up."

Sora's face scrunched up in thought for a moment, before he looked back up at his cousin. "You know, I really can't tell you what to do here. I can't be there to help you every time you and Axel try and take it to the next level. If you feel that you should tell him that you love him, then tell him. If you don't think he is ready, then don't. But this isn't something I can just give you a simple yes or no answer to Roxas." Sora said softly. Everyone was different when they came to relationship. Sora liked to talk about everything no matter what, so if Riku confessed that he loved him. Sora would be okay whether he honestly felt the same way or not, but other people like Roxas and Axel didn't always like to confess matters of the heart. It would be unfair to Roxas and Axel to advice Roxas either way seeing as Sora hadn't actually talk to Axel about how he actually felt about the blonde. Sora could see the changes that the redhead made in his life for Roxas, but those didn't necessarily mean that Axel was in love with Roxas.

Roxas frowned at Sora. "I-I guess you're right... I...I'm just so worried. I don't like not knowing what to do. I like things to be able to be calculated into a definite outcome. This...this isn't anything like that..." He played with the hem of the sheet on the bed that was covering him before. "From...from knowing Axel as long as you have...just...how do you think he'd react to me telling him? I-I'm just curious about it..." He glanced at the door for a moment and asked softly, "Where's Demyx?"

Sora nodded to Roxas as he confessed his lack of knowledge in all this. "I know, you are all textbook, and Axel is the complete opposite. But you know what they say, opposites attract."Sora said happily back to Roxas. "In the past, he would push away anyone that said they loved him besides us and his mother, but I'm not too sure the same applies to you. He is different with you." Sora said softly before looking over at the door as well. "hmm. I don't really know.. I mean it couldn't have taken very long to just go peek in the room to see if Axel's mother was still talking with Axel." Sora said with a bit of concern showing in his voice.

"I guess...I want him to know how I feel about him, but...I...I don't think it'd be good to tell him that...I love him. I think...it might ruin anything that we would have..." He pulled his knees up, hugging them lightly. "I'm worried about Demyx. Should we go check on him? He should be back by now..." He rested his chin on one of his knees and sighed softly.

Sora nodded a little. "Well, you tell him when you are ready than. No one should be able to push you into doing something you don't feel comfortable doing." Sora agreed before standing up. "Not We. I will go check on him. You are staying in that bed until a doctor clears you. End of discussion. Now I'll be right back and if you aren't in that bed like you are suppose to be, I will be mad." Sora said in a stern voice as he moved to the bed. Axel's room wasn't that far away so he should be able to go over there and inspect the situation without leaving Roxas alone for too long. The brunette looking back at Roxas for a moment once he got to door, before walking down the hall towards Axel's room. When he got there, he immediately noticed the blonde huddled by the door. "Demyx? Demyx, what's wrong?" Sora asked quickly as he approached.

Demyx instantly wiped his tears off of his cheeks when he heard Sora's voice. "U-Uhm, nothing, Sor. I just...walked in at a bad time, and now Axel's mom's mad at me..," he explained shortly, trying to keep the tears from running down his cheeks. "I'm just...waiting for them to let me know when it's a good time for Roxas to talk to them... And I...really didn't want to go back into Roxas' room and he see me upset. I don't think it would help much..."

Sora kneeled down next to Demyx putting his hand on his shoulder for comfort. Today just seemed like a bad day for everyone. "I'm sure that she isn't really mad at you, I'm sure she is just frustrated with Axel being hurt and what happen earlier, it has been a pretty hectic day, Demyx." Sora said softly looking up at the door for a moment. "Although, I don't exactly think it will make you feel better to just sit out here and wait." Sora pointed softly looking back at him again. "Come on, I'm sure Roxas will be fine if you were a little upset. I mean it isn't like you can be happy around him all the time. He is going to see you upset eventually."Sora said standing back up and offering Demyx a hand.

Demyx sniffled and took Sora's hand, standing. He wiped his face of a few stray tears. "But, he might ask what's wrong," he said quietly. He looked over at Sora with sorrow in his eyes. "Axel was crying, Sora. How often does that even happen?" he asked. He hugged Sora tightly before they began walking. "I hate seeing him so upset like that..."
