"Thats fine, you two get acquainted with your brothers" Lemonade said as she walked out the door and looked at Darmani "lets hope they are as trustworthy as they are made out to be" she said, knowing, once again, she shouldn't go against Red and Maria's judgement but as a parent, her family and home came first.

"I don't mind at all" Sierra said as she got down on the ground and laid next to them "I could do with all the help I can get and there is Blue as well who should be down in a moment" she said as she nuzzled each of her brothers "you lot are too adorable for words, you know that?"

Blizzard looked up and nuzzled his older sister before yawning.

"I think someones a little tired still" she said giggling a little as she kissed her little brothers head.

Lemonade smiled at the others as she went and took a seat by the fire "hello" she said as she made herself comfortable "it won't take long, if anything, you can start tomorrow if everything goes well" she said as she looked at them.

"It is a pleasure to finally meet you" Celeste said smiling at them "my brother and sister has told me a lot about this family, I must admit, I have been wanting to meet you for a while, I know that he has been accepted into this family I thought it only fair I meet you guys as well but he always said no, I guess it is because we have never exactly been close, it wasn't till recently that we started to talk again" she said with a sigh, her brother could be pig headed at times.

"So you and Red had a falling out? May I ask why?"

"It was because of his history with criminals, I didn't want him to do it, always saying that he would get into trouble one day etc and he was always 'I am doing it for you' and 'it is to give us a better life' etc, we were not destitute, we had money, we had a home, we had everything a normal, common working class family in the Magical Realm had but he was caught up too much with these 'friends' of his that he just wasn't thinking straight and so I lost him for a long time, longer still when he went to jail, he just thought we would be better off with a better home and more money etc that he lost sight of what was really important. However, and forgive me for saying this as I know he is your father" she said, looking at Lemonade "it was harder to get him out of this...phase? Even more so because of Mr Frost, those two may be best friends still even now but they were the worst two ponys that should of never met, I don't blame him fully though, I know it was my idiot brothers fault just as much I just sometimes think that maybe, if those two never met he, my brother, might not have gone as far as he did, even when we did end up getting more money and having a nicer home etc it just ended up just as some game for him and Jack to play, he even forgot about his other mates after a while, it was just him and Jack, they could take on the world together and probably end up ruling it, not by force and with weapons etc but by being cunning and slipping in the back door sort of thing.

So anyway we have just started to talk again, I had nothing to do with him after he started this but I did, admittedly, warm up to the idea of being a bit better off then what we were but we still kept our family home just in case we ever needed it but Red, as I said, he just wanted more and thats when I couldn't handle it anymore and gave up on him, I wanted nothing else to do with him and that meant starting to fight with him, we argued, we screamed, we yelled and then we just stopped talking, I gave up on him and then I hear he went to jail and that Mr Frost was involved and well...I just turned my back on him altogether. I told him not to get involved with him, I told him not to trust him but he did, he just had to go that extra mile to show Mr Frost just what he could do, they worked off each other, if one did something one wanted to do one better and this is where I stopped blaming him a bit, it was my brothers fault when he got caught by going into Government Houses personal rooms and taking documents and what not that didn't belong to him, Jack told him not to go but he did and that day I lost my brother.

Our mother and father would of never wanted one of their children to do this, we were raised much better then that but Red got in too deep and I turned my back on him and only now have we slowly became a family again, Maria had been wanting us to speak for ages but we just didn't, we can be both pig headed ponys and so I wouldn't speak to him because of what he did and for leaving me and he wouldn't speak to me because I turned my back on him and never spoke to him or even visited him whilst he was in jail or anything but now thats in the past, we are slowly making up for lost time" she said smiling at Lemonade.

"Ahh alright, thank you for telling us, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't end up causing problems if you started working for us, I am more then happy to let you talk to your brother, if you can get in contact with him but, like I said, I just didn't want you to be preoccupied by him or something when you are meant to be cooking or whatever and cause an accident" she said, not meaning to have it sound like she was a stupid around an oven but when one is preoccupied with something else, well, she knows accidents can happen so she just wanted to make sure.


"It won't, I promise, I only think about cooking if I am making a meal or something, nothing else enters my mind, I know I can't leave food unattended when cooking and what not so I swear, I will be professional."

"Alright" Lemonade said as she looked at Xanadu "and you are looking after the children, do you have any references?"

Xanadu nodded and opened up his bag and took out a folder and handed it to her "these should be all in order, the first three are from jobs I just left, the other sixteen were from previous jobs I have worked over summer breaks and what not, the first three were to get money for schooling" he said as he sat back, deciding to let her look over the file before saying anything else.

Lemonade took the file and opened it, looking up at her mate "you care to ask them anything?" She asked, looking over Xanadu's references.

"He does!" Sierra agreed as she saw Danny walk by, tray floating beside him but kept an eye on her brothers "though i think I am glad he isn't like his brother" she said gesturing towards Fudgesicle "good thing he doesn't think his hooves are edible" she said giggling.

Cadbury rolled over and stretched, looking up at the large freezer that had been left open, getting up he walked awkwardly over to it and walked in, seeing an opened container of ice cream on the floor he stuck his head in, knocking it over and and started to eat the contents of it and oh such a wonderful taste this was.

Sierra jumped up and ran over to her brother, trying to stop him from eating the ice cream but, unless she wanted to make him cry, she couldn't, she didn't really want to be the reason behind him crying "who left the door to the freezer open anyway and where is the lid for the ice cream?" She asked as she put her hoof in some of the ice cream he hadn't eaten and licked it "I guess mom will be making a new lot of French Vanilla" she said with a sigh "now it is just getting him to stop eating and not cry, breakfast will be here soon, he shouldn't be spoiling his appetite."

"I can barely remember what i did last week let alone back when I was a kid" Sierra said, her memories were really all but focused on her 'illness', she never really had much of a childhood since she was stuck in bed "no" she said as she looked down at the crying child "all he did was walk in, look up and cry, I think they are hungry" she said as she took the ice cream away from her other brother and put it on a shelf, starting him off on a crying spree also.

Blue walked in moments later and sighed "alright you two, what did you do to our baby brothers?" She teased, obviously not serious "breakfast is here anyway, I just saw it appear in the dinning room as I walked past, maybe it is time we get these four some breakfast" she said as she walked into the fridge and nuzzled them "you want something to eat?" She asked her crying little brothers.

Danny didn't bother entering, he walked back to the kitchen hearing that they were basically finished in there.

"I must say, these refrences look good though I do have to ask, on one of them, they said that you left in the middle of a job, leaving the children alone with no one to mind them, care to explain?" She asked, knowing it was only one ref but still she wanted to know why, it just out of curiosity sake really and it is obvious that he doesn't make a habit of it but still.

"It was really her fault" he said with a sigh "I was looking after a single womans children, she came home, I was packing up and was about to walk out the door, after telling her how the night went etc when she she came over and started to hit on me, wanting to basically sleep with me saying that if I didn't I wouldn't only not get paid but she would do whatever it took to get my reputation ruined etc but I said no because not only was she my employer but also because I am gay, I got my things and left, I was on my way home when she decided she would go out again, leaving the children at home asleep and blamed it on me. She said that I knew she was going to go out again and that she had only just come home for a few moments and then would be gone again etc but, when children are concerned it is their well being before you and your problems so they believed her over me because I if I said anything about her trying to sleep with me it would of looked even worse, it would of been her word against mine and given that that there was already enough mess with her lying about me walking out on her children I didn't want to make more problems so I just left it, I wasn't even going to add that into the folder but I thought, to be truthful, I would add it, I apologize if this makes you second guess allowing me to work for you, I understand if you..." he stopped mid sentence, being interrupted by Lemonade.

"It's alright, you are not fired or not not hired or whatever, I believe you, I just wanted to know why thats all, I apologize for what happened with her but I promise, nothing like that will happen here so, welcome to you both, you both will be sleeping here, if thats no problem for you and I will get Danny to make up the other two guest rooms for you, you can collect any and all belongings you have and want to have here with you and you can move in tomorrow, your first day of work will start the day after tomorrow, we will introduce you to our children as well once you are are settled in as well" she said as she stood up.

Celeste and Xanadu smiled at the other two and stood up "thank you" they said in unison.

"I can't wait to see the foals" Xanadu said a little TOO eagerly, if there was one thing he always had loved it was foals, they were just far too cute, he got the right job at the right time, he couldn't wait to get to know them "but yes, I will meet them tomorrow, thank you once again" he said as he started for the door, deciding to leave his refs with Lemonade and Darmani now and will get them tomorrow if need be.

"I can't either but yes, we will see them tomorrow" she said as she walked out with Xanadu and walked straight to the front door, opened it and left with him.

Lemonade sighed "well, thats over, they were really sweet" she said as she got up "I just feel sorry for him, what a cow for doing that to him" she said with a sigh "but I know, things will happen like that but still, I just feel sorry for her kids also, having someone like that as a mother wouldn't be nice I bet" she said as she looked at her mate "care to go get breakfast?"

"Sounds great" Blue said as she grabbed Cadbury and Sierra grabbed Blizzard "I just hope mom and dad won't be long, I don't really feel like trying to feed them whilst having my breakfast also" she said as she

"Then lets go, I think our daughters may need some help anyway with feeding them" she said as she left the parlor, leaving the file on the cabinet as she walked past and took a deep breath in and let it out "our breakfast smells nice" she said as she noticed the girls come out of the kitchen "maybe, just for the next couple of days, we can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Red's place? Or just get it delivered anyway" she suggested to her mate, she knew it was healthier eating at home but we have no cook for the next couple of days. I admit, whilst i can cook, poached eggs on toast is really all I can do so maybe this way would be easier for us? I don't really want my kids just to eat eggs for dinner the next two days and I am sure Red wouldn't mind us just using his place for meals just till we get his sister and Xanadu settled in" she said as she stood at the dinning room, letting her daughters and sons go in first "Sierra, once you have done that, can you please go get Tira and Sherb?"

"Sierra nodded "sure" she said as she walked over and placed her brother next to the Blue had and walked off to go search for her siblings.

Sierra ran upstairs and knocked on her sisters door rather loudly "Sherb" she called out "its time for breakfast, we had it delivered, theres pancakes, french toast, eggs, fruit salad, hash browns, nice brewed pot of coffee, we have stuff to make hot chocolate, freshly squeezed orange juice and even, if you wanted it, cereal and you also have to meet your new baby brothers" she called, hearing a noise beside her she looked and saw Tira.

Tira walked out of his room, rubbing his eyes "can't a guy sleep?" He called, having come in quite late, now that school finished for the year he had more time but still, he would of liked to sleep in.

"Sorry, Tira but mom wants you down for breakfast" she said as Tira nodded and yawned.

"Sure "he said as he pointed a hoof at himself and cast a spell on himself to make him look respectable "its nice to know magic" he said walking by his sister, teasing her.

"Oh shut it" she said smiling at her brother as she followed him.

"Great! No cooking for me" she said as she walked in and sat down, thanking Blue who had helped her other two sons onto chairs "it wasn't planned, at least that wasn't, the date we went on was just far too much, it was perfect, candle lit dinner for two on the beach, roses, a beautiful full moon in a beautiful star filled sky, it was just so perfect and romantic it seemed wrong not to end the night on such a high note, just that I guess without thinking we both forgot one of the most important things, it doesn't matter though, planned or not, I am pleased to have had them, we both are, they are beautiful." Lemonade said as she looked at her children and noticing Mackinly was about to cry "alright, so looking around here you get your own small bowl of fruit salad" she said as she picked up a small bowl, the contents being all soft fruits and placed it in front of him, placing the other three in front of the other boys as well "and besides I have you girls, Tira and your father to help out as well as Celeste, Danny and Xanadu, Red and Maria, when they are here, so it isn't like I am doing this alone" she said smiling at Rocky.

"I suggest watching out for that" Sierra said as she entered the room and sat down at the table, seeing Fudge nomming on his hoof again "that is the second time he has done that today, I don't know if it is his way of saying he is hungry or not but if it isn't we may need to keep an eye out on what he is actually trying to tell us with that, I am sure eating your foot isn't normal...but then what do I know? I haven't exactly been around foals, besides Tira and he was as abnormal as they came anyway but he never did that so I am not too well read when it comes to kids" she said grinning at her brother.

"Oh hardy har har" Tira said said as he smiled at his sister and sat down next to her.

"Oh, thanks" Lemonade said as she nudged Fudge a little "come on darling, want food?" She asked as she grabbed a spoon and put some fruit on it and offered it to him.

Danny walked in moments later and knelt down besides the children "here, I will help" he said smiling at Lemonade and picked up a spoon and offered the fruit to Cadbury who sniffed it and then ate a little of it, liking the taste he are the spoonful and wanted more.

"Thank you, Danny" Lemonade said, smiling at him.

"Youre welcome" Danny said as he fed another spoonful of fruit to Cadbury

Tira jumped as his sister just appeared "alright, please, Sherb, before you just portal yourself into places, at least warn us in future" he said smiling at her, having a late night last night he was still a bit jumpy from being out with his friends.

"After this" Lemonade said as she got some more fruit on the spoon and offered it to Fudge once more "can you, Danny, make up the beds in the remaining two rooms? I know it isn't usually your job but I want Xanadu and Celeste to have a fresh clean sheets on the beds when they come to stay with us" she said as as she looked at her mate "care to feed Blizzard?" She asked him, thinking it best he feed the last foal.

Danny nodded "sure" he said as he watched the foal chew his food and swollow and then offered thim the next spoonful that he ate as well.

"I will please" Lemonade said as she watched her son.

"I will as well" Tira and Sierra said in unison"

Tira reached over and grabbed several pancakes while everyone else fed the babies and looked around "no ice cream?" He said as he got up "I will go get some, anyone have any particular flavor that they want?"

"I think I will have a nice hot hot chocolate" she said as she started making herself one, looking over the food, wondering what to have first, thinking maybe some pancakes since there was enough to feed three families of six.

"I will have strawberry please" Blue said.

"French Vanilla for me" Sierra said.

"chocolate for me" Lemonade said.

"Blue made a pad appear and wrote down the orders.

"While I do have a lady in my life, a beautiful one at that, it wasn't with her, I was out studying for two exams that is coming up, two exams that will let me finish this year off and give me the rest of the year to research my family history, I have decided to take a year off from school and do as much research into my family background as I can so I have told myself that if I don't pass this exam I will go back to school for another year and my family research will be pushed back again."

"Oh, that woman you were with the other day when she came into the parlor, that was actually your girlfriend?" Lemonade asked, she had teased him a little about it but she thought it was just a friend, that was all he had ever said to her so she assumed that was all that it was.

Tira nodded as the pad pen wrote down the last item that was said "she is...at least, I hope she is, we haven't officially said to each other that we are boyfriend and girlfriend yet but it does look like it is going that way."

"Oh, congrats Tira!" Lemonade said as she smiled at her son and then looked at her mate "your son has picked this beautiful, polite girl named Phyllis as his girfriend" she said as she looked at Blue "Blue, can you go get..." she started as she was interupted.

Tira sighed "it's fine" he said as he shook his head and conjured up a picture of them both and placed it in the middle of the table, showing them both nuzzling each other, full view of them both, outside the ice cream parlor "this is her and I after we had our first date...well it wasn't really a date, we hadn't seen each other for a month or so and we ended up running into each other again and I broke the rule of letting outsiders into Solstice but this was a special occasion" he said smiling at the photo, she truly was beautiful and she was was almost his.

Blue picked up the photo and looked it over "wow, she truly is beautiful" she said passing it onto her sister.

Sirra nodded "yes, she is, question remains, what is she doing with a guy like you" she said grinning at her brother as she passed the photo on.

Cadbury wriggled in his seat, finding it boring sitting there, he was full and now wanted to go play or something.

Danny finished feeding Cadbury and started feeding Blizzard."I will, so you can have breafast in peace, take these four cuties and play with them if you wish" he suggested to the parents.

"Oh, Danny, no, we couldn't ask you to take care of..." she said as Danny shook his head.

"Don't worry, I won't be alone" he said as he said a rather complex spell and split himself into three other Dannys "these will be my helpers" he said as he gestured to them "one for each baby and all have a bit of what makes me me in them" he said as Tira spoke up.

"H...how do you know that spell?" He asked curiously "I have been trying to perfect that for months, it is a spell I am meant to know for the exam I am taking, it is a rather advanced spell and unless you are actually REALLY good at magic, and I am talking on the way to becoming Elder of the Magical Realm good, no one can use it because if you make a mistake you can end up making a 'bad clone' or yourself that will take forever to get back into the original body and by then you are responsible for any and all crimes it commits. Or, another is that it will make it so that whatever clones you make end up disintegrating and whilst that can be reversed it takes ages and is a complex method and thats without putting them back into the original body, so, in a way, it is forbidden as well unless you are REALLY well learned in the magical arts and even then you basically need a licence to use that spell and so I and two others have been allowed, if we want to, to try and use it for our exam but they opted out and so I have decided to try myself however I can't even get the complex spell right let alone it working properly."

"Why don't I give you a hand with the spell later?" He offered as he gave Blizzard another spoonful.

"That would be great! Thank you Danny!" He said as he looked at his sister "no, it's fine, thank you for the offer anyway but it is a good excuse to use magic" he said as he turned around and walked out of the room, going to get the ice cream.

Tira came back in and nodded "sure" he said as he put several bowls of ice cream down on the table, each with a couple of large scoops of ice cream in each of each of the flavors he was meant to get for everyone "I will see if she is up to it though" he said looking at his father "though, dad, please don't, I am not your daughter, I can handle picking my own girlfriends, if you want to play judge and jury wait till Rocky or Blue gets a boyfriend" he said, wanting to just try and get through this dinner with his family trying the least to embarrass him as possible.

"You want to get down?" Lemonade said to Mackinly as she pulled the chair out and helped him down "you be a good boy for Danny alright? That goes for all you boys, no misbehaving" she said as she looked at the others "Cadbury, Fudge and Blizzard, are you finished?"

Blizzard and Cadbury didn't bother answering, they were too impatient to just sit there, they wanted to do something fun so they just slid off the chair and onto the ground, making their way awkwardly towards Danny.

"I guess I will take that as a yes, you to, Fudge?" She asked the foal though looked at her mate "you know how good a judge of character I am? What is that meant to mean?" She asked smiling at her mate "and thank you Tira for the ice cream" she said as she kissed Fudges head.

"Thank you Tira" Blue and Sierra said in unison as they both took their bowl of ice cream and placed some on their first pancake.

Tira smiled at his family "your'e welcome guys" he said as he got his own bowl and placed some onto his pancake and grabed the whipped cream and one of the syrup bottles and placed some on it as well before placing the syrup and cream back and started rolling it up.
