((*hunts around for remote control and finds Phae with it, nomming on it happily* ^.^
*Pats her head* sorry, need that *takes it carefully off her*
Phae: *looks up with puppy dog eyes and lip quiver* but...but...
*Gives her a plate of triple chocolate mud cake cupcakes*
Phae: Thank you *starts happily eating*
*Presses fast forward button* just don't tell your parents.*
Phae: *shakes head*))
Several months later and the house was finally done and they had just finished moving the stuff back into her new home, Vincent standing at the top of the stairs inside talking to someone as Onyx was slowly leading Makoto towards her new home, sure she had seen it in the reconstruction stages but he decided to forbid her anywhere near the house as it was getting towards the finishing stages "almost there" he said, having had her close her eyes just before they walked the last little bit as he had allowed her to carefully bite one of his tails as he led her towards her home and took a few more steps as he stood in front of her new house "let go" he said as he looked back at her "and welcome to your new home" he said as he stood out of the way and let her have a proper look.

Makoto wasn't sure what to expect, she hadn't liked not being able to see her house in the final stages, she trusted them she just didn't like not knowing and now was the moment of fate now she was going to see her house as a real house, a real home. She kept close to Onyx not wanting to hurt his tail, she was trusting his lead to keep her from tripping or running into anything.
She slowly opened her eyes a little afraid to see and she froze, it was perfect pull strait out of her dreams she was afraid to move afraid that it was all an illusion that would disappear the instant she took a step. One slow step and then another, it was still perfect. She looked to Onyx a smile spreading across her face, she bolted into the house running from room to room her books filling the shelves, everything was as she wanted everything was there, she dashed up the stairs the one place she hadn't dared to go, it was amazing! When she reached the last room she turned and dashed back to Onyx tacking him to the ground "Thank you so much! You're the best" her tails wagged so hard they stirring up a breeze.

Vincent smiled at the female who came running up the stairs, pulling the guy who he was talking to out of the way "that is the owner of the place, guess she likes what she sees" he said to the other as they got back to what they were talking about.
Onyx grinned up at her as he fell back onto the ground "youre welcome though shouldn't you have a PROPER look?" He said, running in and out of the house in half a minute, if that, wasn't a proper look and besides that, given how bit the house actually was after all the debris was taken out was amazing in itself, there were several rooms upstairs that seemed to be able to fit a large family back in the day, granted, one or two rooms downstairs were technically bedrooms, servant quarters maybe back in the day, also but that didn't matter, given that it was only her living here they didn't need to be used as such anymore. "Also i need to show you a few secrets to the house that Vincent and his crew built on to as one had collapsed but we built it up again, took longer then expected but it ended up great if I do say so myself" he said, hoping she wouldn't mind the extra addition added onto the house and the land further into the woods.

She shook her head still overly excited over the renovation she had a proper look and it was all amazing, she froze at the mention of a secret to the house and if it was possible her smile got bigger "a surprise?" she looked back at the house what had she missed? Oh she was going to cover Vincent's face in licks for this, they were going to have to pry her off him. She got off Onyx she couldn't wait to see the secret place it reminded her of places she had read about in books.. to live in a place like that... better than she had ever dreamed "I would love to see it!" she was beaming

Alright well, if you follow me we can get started" he said as he got up and started inside "first will be in room just inside the door" he said as he walked inside and into the first room, this is a little more special then others" he called a little as he walked to one of the many book shelves in this rather large room and over to one of the many shelves in the room but was closer to the back and waited for her, having need her to see how to open it.

She nodded excitedly she was so happy with her house she couldn't imagine it getting any better but now it was about to! She wondered for a moment what Vincent and the lawyer needed to talk about, but the thought soon left her mind she was just too excited to keep a negative thought in her brain. She followed him and waited anxiously for the surprise to be revealed, she could picture herself lying on the floor reading a book and soaking up the sun in this room it would be remarkable, she scanned the room looking for anything that might hint at the surprise before her eyes settled on him willing him to show her to not torture her a moment longer with the anticipation

((I'm a little confused by the tunnel going from second floor... are these servant passageways built into the house? The house itself is surrounded by stone but it's not directly against it, I'll just pretend they are passageways of the house so I can post))
Makoto watched intently making a mental note of the button before following him down the passageways, she was trying to think up ways of lighting the passages without revealing their existence when he mentioned the step and she focused her attention on not tripping off it and making a fool of herself, on the plus side if she did it was too dark for him to see her blush.
When the reached the fork and he opened the doorway she examined the button so she would be able to locate it herself when she needed. These were fun, and if she ever made enemies she could use them to hid but she wasn't sure what else they might be good for. "Well I know where to hid if ever I'm playing hid-n-go-seek!" she laughed "Where is the button on this side of the door?" or did they only go in one direction? That seemed silly.
