A limp would soon seem a might bit too slow, as an ear splitting Spearrow call came from high above, a shadow falling over her. Indeed, it would seem the bird was falling faster then one had expected. She'd managed to get out of the bird just in the nick of time...but it seemed now the Giant was about to fall upon her!

Riku was wondering why it suddenly got darker. She glanced up and spotted the now falling Spearow she had just escaped from plummeting to the ground. The girl despite her pain was full of panic. If that huge hunk of metal ended up falling on her, she'd definitely die. So forcing her legs to run, she tried to move away from that thing. Running for her life... She began to weave from side to side trying to make it harder for it to fall directly on top of her. Then she considered running to one side. With a sudden swerve in her steps, she then began running left hoping that by her changing direction, it wouldn't land near her...

Riku would soon find her attempts at fleeing met with a rather odd selection of behaviour. When began to weave, the Spearrow would begin to wobble in the air, tilting this way and that to follow her movements. When she darted to the left, one of it's wings would abruptly snap, causing it to veer in the same direction. It was almost like some powerful, supernatural being was controlling the Giant like a puppet, directing it to follow the child wherever she ran.
Then the truly unexpected would occur; the Spearrow would stop. Grinding to a violent halt, the entire Pokemon heaved forward as it's body was caught by the trees. Parts would spray across the ground as individual pieces of the Spearrow broke off, fires suddenly erupting upon it's back. One piece in particular would fly free of the birds head, striking the ground and rolling across to stop at Riku's feet. Luck would be on her side this time, for if she checked the list, she'd find the strange round motor in front of her happened to be on the list!

Riku froze to a stop. For some reason, she had watched as the bird kept following her and then was caught in the trees. Surprisingly a piece had came off the pokemon and as she checked her list, it was an important one. Thank Arceus. After placing it in her pack, she felt a little happier. Not only did she end up not getting crushed by the giant bird but she also was one step closer to finishing the mission. Now to find the last piece...

Taking her first step away from the wreckage, Riku would be faced with the familiar sound of crashing trees. A low hiss...or what would have been a low hiss were the creature not at least fifty stories tall...came from among the trees. A body, large, powerful and purple, would slither free of the plant life. It was an Arbok, one of tremendous size...but luckily for Riku, one that held no interest in her. Coils guiding it to the sight of the fallen Spearrow, the Arbok would lunge, actually attempting to devour the mechanical Pokemon. Doubtless this couldn't end well considering the Arbok was also a machine which lacked any sort of function digestive system...but the girl appeared to be safe for now.

The girl had heard the familiar sound of crashing through the tress. Obviously it meant that another giant pokemon was approaching. when she saw the enormous size of the Arbok, she knew that there was no way of getting away from this one. It could've easily cause her with it's tail and then crushed her to death. Luck was on her side for it was drawn to the dead Spearow and began to devour it. That was enough of a distraction for Riku to be able to hightail it out of there... Hopefully luck would be with her to let her find the last piece she needed..

The girl kept moving, surprised but then again not really at the same time. The forest was quiet once more and she was relieved that it was so. Actually she just wanted to finish this mission and go back home. She needed a long rest after this and time to recuperate. Besides this mission was taking one hell of a long time to complete. Shaking her head slightly, she continued walking. Violet gaze once more surveying the area, hoping that she could find the last piece she needed. Stopping for a moment to prey to Arceus on helping her find it, she then continued forward.

The only answer to the child's prayers would be the sound of lapping waves, and the gentle sea breeze against her cheek. The smell of the ocean was heavy in the air, the sand soft beneath her feet. Once more she'd happened upon the island's coast; a new terrain, with new possibilities. It was certainly a better location to fall upon then the mountain at least. The only Giant to see for miles would be anther Gyarados far off in the distance...though it seemed so far, perhaps it was a real one passing the island by.

Opening her eyes, she realized that she was back on the beach. She grinned happily, quite relieved that this was the place she had ended up on. At least here was a lot less deadly then where she had been. The other place had been harsh and she had run into way too many giant pokemon. Here the place had a more soothing atmosphere and the waves lapping at the sand was a calming sound. Moving forward, she felt quite confident that this was where she would find the last essential part and then finally be able to finish the mission!

Well so far so good, well for the most part at least. It was neither too hot nor too cold this time. Nothing had attacked her nor had an giant pokemon came to smash her.. This was really a great place to be! The girl then settled down a little, trying to focus. Her eyes darted across the surroundings trying to figure out where any fallen giants could be hiding in the sand..

As if spurred on by Riku's own thoughts, the waves would crash suddenly and violently against the shore. The wind picked up into a terrible gale, as if the result of tremendous wings. All around her the air would grow bone chillingly cold, frost developing rapidly upon the sand beneath her feet. A shadow was once more cast over the child as the sun was bloated out by an immense pair of wings...the girl certainly seemed to be having issues with bird Pokemon today. Except this wasn't another Spearrow, nor a Pidgeotto...no, this avian stood high and above the others she'd seen. A melodic cry, like a mixture of a harp and the shattering of ice would come from above. Then it would descend upon her...Articuno...or rather, it's giant metallic replica! Riku would need to think fast; it was doubtful she'd have the same luck with this one as she had the Spearrow!

At first the girl stood frozen in awe. The temperature seemed to drop but she had caught a glimpse of what was trying to kill her this time. The Legendary Articuno! But she had to shake her head slightly. This was only a giant metal replica of the legendary and it was coming towards her. Organizing her thoughts, she then willed her feet to run. Running once again from a giant bird pokemon... But would she be fast enough to escape this time?

Riku had little hope of outpacing the frosty legendary out upon the open coast, and only shortly after her dash had begun, it would seem to be a pointless endeavour. Wings held wide, the Giant Articuno would flap them hard, more then a dozen hidden fans and snow machines hidden beneath it's feathers turning on with each successive flap. Soon the child would find herself amidst a blizzard, snow and ice caking her body as well as the ground. Again and again the bird would flap those wings, sending more snow onto the ground below.
Before long, that entire stretch of the coast was now covered in pure white snow, Riku lost beneath the frozen blanket. Giving one last cry, the Giant Pokemon would depart, wings causing the snow upon the ground to spray about once more as it fought to fly higher into the sky....and there was Riku, trussed up like a snowwoman under a heavy layer of fresh powder and ice.
She was alive, unharmed even, although there was little doubt to how cold she would find herself. Suddenly, a sharp crack would come from somewhere upon her person, followed by the sounds of metal clanging into a dozen or more pieces of itself. When the girl freed herself, it would be to find one of her Extra Parts had shattered beneath the harsh cold...apparently it wasn't built to handle such temperatures.
