"Verta went to sleep!" She said as she noticed Xym moving silently away.. She pretended not to notice, but kept him in her peripheral vision. She didnt feel comfortable with this at all however, it was rather how hunters acted when they watched their prey. She felt tense and jumpy, but hoped the others wouldn't notice it.

Anime, completely oblivious to the things that are behind her, didn't notice the man. "You don't have to yell Grace, I'm right here," she laughed a little. Then she froze and raised an eyebrow. "Hey... Hey, is anyone else getting the feeling that we're being watched?" She looked down, then at the winged man, and then at Grace. "Huh. Alright then. Whatever, if something was watching us it'd have come out and showed itself by now if it was anyone or anything important, so I'm not too worried about it. Haha, besides, cowards behind bushes are not worth my time." She was mostly saying these things to try and calm Grace, who seemed tense for some reason. "Trust me Grace, if anything was out to get you, I'd have it kissing the ground no problem. Just relax, alright?"

Caenen “Cain” Genesis ||||| Location: Outside ||||| Feeling: Happy ||||| Thoughts: I wonder why she's puzzled? ||||| "Nope, not Verta! I'm Caenen Genesis, though," he replied happily. Then noticed she was glancing between Grace and him. He wondered what she was thinking with a puzzled face like that. He stared at Anime for a moment before realizing she was now looking at his back. He spread out his wings with a big smile. "Adarnia," he grinned, "I'm from Adarnia."

"Adarnia... Oh." Anime smiled sheepishly. "I thought you were something else, but they're just myths, I guess. Its so uncanny though, you look JUST like the pictures. Large wings, blond hair, I can't see your eye color but if they're gold-ish then that's ridiculously uncanny. They were said to be the closest thing to our world to angels. They were the guardians of Bab, the river of the afterlife." She actually had no idea why she knew all this or what it all meant. "Apparently, they could heal any wound or poison and even bring the dead back to life."

 ✠ Xym ✠§Location~ Near the building With~ Grace, Anime and Cain Thoughts~ Ew... § The wings on the man caught his attention when he'd actually looked at him. Wait...an un-fallen? ********> The wings that had began to form on Xym's back twitched slightly in reaction to his thoughts. He stepped from the shadows he was in and into a bit of the light that was coming off of the academy. The black wings behind him were shimmering slightly in the light. Not like glitter, more like an opalescent paint, shifting from black to deep purple then back depending on the light. They were ethereal, but present.
He cleared his throat and spread his wings to each side followed by his hands. Taking deep breaths to slow his heartbeat, he faced his palms towards the sky. Upon seeing the other mans wings Xym had panicked and needed to prove he wouldn't be decimated. Even if it was just to himself, he needed to do it. A black cloud began to appear above Xym. His eyes opened slowly, revealing that they had turned completely black. Xym forced his hands forward, directing the cloud in the same direction which happened to be somewhat close to the others.
The goal of this was not to destroy those who were out there, but more of a power test. The smoke shot out for a bit before slowing quickly. It barely reached the lake, but everything that had touched the blackness had frozen in time before turning gray and melting into nothing. By the time the cloud had gotten to the end of its journey, it had also melted into near nothingness but still had enough power to disintegrate a few of the branches on a nearby tree.OOC~{}

Grace pointed fearfully at Xym who seemed to be doing something extreme that she couldnt understand. He was definitely the thing of her worst nightmares and wanted nothing better then to run inside to Verta at the moment. She cowered there next to Anime however scared to run to the building with him standing there. "What will we do?!" She whispered to them

Anime felt something falling on her head. Looking up, she brushed... Ash? Dead plants? What? Anime's eyes followed to a man with long black hair and black, oily-like wings. Anime gasped, "What's Adam doing here?!" Wait, Adam? Who was that? The reaper. That was who that was. But she never met him, did she?... No, this wasn't the reaper. This man was different. Though the likeness was... Uncanny. Besides, it was impossible for anyone to hate humans and be as bitter as the reaper of her world... Right?
Eventually when she goes to look at some research, Anime knew she'd have to also look up how she knew all these creatures and people she never met.
"Hey buddy. I don't know who you think you are, but I seriously doubt that these plants ever did anything to you."
Anime looked down at Grace who cowered behind her, and she sighed, putting her hand on her head. "Don't worry Grace. He isn't gonna lay a finger on you. Besides, if he has a problem with us he could just come up and tell it to our faces." Anime gave her a wink. "You're safe and sound Grace, don't be so worried. Besides, you'll have to face this kinda thing eventually. No use running all the time."

Caenen “Cain” Genesis ||||| Location: Outside ||||| Feeling: Curious; Angry ||||| Thoughts: ...Who are you. ||||| "Well I'm certainly no Angel, but I'm an Ang--" He started but was suddenly intrigued in the fog that hung overhead, cutting off his sentence. Blue eyes looked down towards the man with dark wings. A thin-blood? Here? No... something seemed different. He wasn't Angelus like Cain. Not in the slightest. Something about the man gave him a headache. Was it the fact that his eyes were completely black now? Or that everything seemed to just melt in the cloud? It made him sick to his stomach, yet he still found himself walking forwards. In a stern and disapproving voice he asked, "What's your problem, then?" His eyes were locked on the man.

"Oooh we're gonna see a fight~" Anime sing-songed. She took Grace by the hand. "Come on, let's find a good place to sit. there's more light near the academy." She took Grace with her a little closer, and urged her to sit on a bench. "OH WAIT HOLD ON." Anime suddenly disappeared.

✠ Xym ✠§Location~ Near the building. With~ Grace, Cain, and Anime Thoughts~ At least I know I can do that much. § Xym had pulled back his arms and withdrawn his wings behind him. The use of the power had added a bit more to the translucency of the wings, making them a bit more opaque. He was breathing heavily after that much effort. His eyes had not returned to their normal state just yet, and he was looking at the man walking towards him like he would kill him. "He sent you didn't he. I refuse to go back. I don't want to deal with those...humans...any longer. If you take me back they will all die."
He completely ignored what the girl had said to him, all of his focus on the angel walking towards him. Chances are this was entirely a delusion that he'd made up, but he wasn't willing to take that risk. He would stay at the academy regardless of how much effort that took. Both of his hands had cupped into the appearance of claws, a small orb of the same black fog floating within each. He had his defenses ready, thus he attacked the other two. "Might want to get those...creatures...to safety if you're going to attempt anything with me."OOC~{}

"Back! What'd I- what?" She came in just in time to hear the black-winged man threaten them. Anime balled one hand into fists.
"OUT OF BOUNDS! I call foul on that one! You better watch your a** buddy or I'll put you in the penalty box myself!" She looked over at Grace, panting a little, but stopping in a sigh. "Here." She gave Grace the bag of Popcorn. "I'll referee this thing, but you gotta be the scorekeeper. If someone gets seriously hurt, I'll need you to get help, anyway. I know this guy here is a d**k, but will you stay, just in case I need you?"

Benevolent Rose "Back! What'd I- WAH!" Anime held tight onto Grace and teleported her ten feet away from the man that just attacked them.
"OUT OF BOUNDS! I call foul on that one! You better watch your a** buddy or I'll put you in the penalty box myself!" She looked over at Grace, panting a little, but stopping in a sigh. "You alright? Grace felt herself ready to run but at the same time through her fear she felt herself become extremely hot too, as if her powers were ready to help her when she needed them "Anime no! We shouldn't fight!" She cried hanging on to the tasty looking popcorn in spite of herself. Grace got up and moved towards the school quickly wanting to get to Verta right away. She tried not to spill any of the food while she ran away.

((Fixed it. >A<; Not as funny but whatevs. XP That's what I get for rushing. ))
"Grace, wait a minute!" Anime called out, "Are you really gonna run your whole life?! What happens if Verta can't save you?! What then?! You really gonna make that poor guy watch his a** AND yours all the time?! Grace!" Anime crossed her arms and seethed a little. Running away, putting others in danger to protect you, it ate at her core. Grace was a great girl and all, but she wasn't okay with this scenario at all. Either way, if it was a one-on-one with these two, she wasn't gonna get in the way, but she wasn't gonna run, either. Anime would never run from a fight, even if it isn't hers to fight.
