☤Location:Outside Feelings:Content (for once) Thoughts:Now just to make this better...☤ The small break that Verta allowed himself to eat and calm down was beyond necessary, however the calm wasn't quite enough. Because of this, he found himself outside soaking up the sunlight. The warmth of it was beyond calming and soothing. With his body warmed, he moved towards the pond outside to sit beside it. He paused when he reached the edge and looked up towards the sky closing his eyes.
There was nothing quite like passing a test of such high caliber, eating a delicious meal using the skills he just learned, and standing in the sun all in the same day that made a man feel amazing. After a deep breath of the air around him, which was profoundly different now, he fell into the grass behind him. His hands found their way behind his head but his eyes remained closed.

 [C]elestria [L]uck July 7thxx{>Hedge Wizard<}xxTwentySeven long painful years have finally built up to this one achievement: Hedge Wizard. She has finally done what seemed impossible for her; she has went up in rank! No longer is she an Apprentice, she is a Hedge Wizard! She has passed her test and been given this wondrous rank until the next test presents itself. She was filled with so much joy, happiness, overwhelming excitement. Oh, once she left from the Oak Dorms Common Room, she came outside to spread her wings, taking flight as she flew high above the treetops with such glee.
Laughter bubbling out of her as she could no longer contain her joy. Loops, dives, and various other aerial tricks that reflected how she felt about obtaining a new status. "I passed! I passed, I passed, I passed!" Celestria squealed, finally settling down as she came to perch herself onto a nearby tree branch. Taking in the view from this height. It was beautiful, even moreso when she finally succeeded in something she wanted for so long.
Inhaling deeply, Celestria slowly exhaled, a wide grin present on her face as she leapt off from the tree branch to take into the air again. Only this time, Celestria felt that pain in her chest again. Only much worse than last time. Quickly, she clenched a hand to her chest, hunching over in pain. She was not able to maintain the altitude for long, thus falling to the earth or rather the pond with a splash. 'Ngh...not again....' This has happened before but, three years ago.
She can't die after being appointed as Hedge Wizard! With her wings hidden back within her, Celestria managed to swim back up to the surface, taking a gasp for air as she swam towards the pond's bank. Clenching her chest with one hand while the other kept her anchored at the bank. Luckily, there was another person here. "Ngh...h-hey, could you...g-give me a hand, p-please?" ☤Location:Near the Pond Feelings:Content Thoughts:It's good to see others have passed.☤ Verta was quite enjoying the sounds of nature as he lay beside the pond. The girl who had shown up had disrupted that, but still managed to cause a smile to press across his lips. After all, what fun would it be if he was the only one who passed? Where would the challenge to better himself come from? He listened to her glee as she flew around, opening his eyes just in time to watch her plummet into the pond.
He winced slightly as she hit the water but was quick to stand and move towards her. So, she's Air as well. Good to know. Stepping up to the edge of the pond, Verta decided it might be another chance for him to practice a bit more. Even if he couldn't help with air, he was right there and could easily pull her out. Taking a deep breath, the wind around him became a bit more turbulent.
Birds stopped chirping as wind rustled through the trees. The vision of the apparition that was Verta's aura came crisp to his mind. This was the first time he'd called on such power. With his eyes still closed, he made an attempt to form the apparition before him and send it out onto the lake towards the girl. His goal was to get it to her then encase her in it and pull her out, but who knew if that would work.
Initially, the wind-creature did as commanded. It moved with a strange graceful elegance towards the girl and stopped just above her. That was when the problems started. As he tried to move it down into the water it fought him mentally. It would touch the surface but no more. After a few attempts he simply gave up and reached a hand down to the girl. "I hope you don't think me rude for trying that. Seems we're all fairly excited about passing! My name is Verta."

Man it felt great to be back outside. Anime started warming up for a jog, her new bell on a loop of her pants. Apparently, the jingle left after the power was used, and Anime wondered when it'd come back. All the same she had faith it would.
Anime began her jog around the track, looking at the trees and the bushes and small bodies of water, in rhythm, at peace.

After running for about an hour, Anime stopped to rest at a body of water. The cool, shimmering water was actually pretty nice, and Anime smiled, enjoying the rest. Anime wondered how cold the water was, so she decided to take off her shoes to find out. The grass was cool and soft on her feet, and she let out a sigh. Her day had been so productive, she couldn't imagine anything ruining it. Still, she figured that eventually she'd have to make friends here. After all, a challenge wasn't at all interesting alone, and she wanted to find someone who liked the outdoors at least almost as much as she did.
The water was so crisp; it made her want to just jump in and cool off her body. She didn't mind that she was dressed, but she didn't want to get her bell wet, so she took it off and set it with her shoes. She walked back to the water, letting the scenery soak her in first. This really was a pretty awesome day so far.

☤Location:Near the pond Feelings: Thoughts:Let's see this thing work.☤ Verta approached the edge of the pond with quiet intent. Kneeling down, he placed the surfboard upon the surface of the water and watched as the glow came back slightly. It began to sink as Verta's hand maintained contact with it but as soon as he lifted his hand it popped back to the surface. That was definitely a new aspect he hadn't imagined could happen. Looks like he'd need to learn how to keep himself from sinking straight to the bottom.
"No time like the present!" He leaped onto the board and prepared himself for the sinking. When the water started to come up around the board, he focused his thoughts and forced a bubble around his feet. It seemed to do pretty alright at keeping the water at bay. The trouble he had before with the air spirit didn't seem to be present this time. Laughing slightly to himself he pushed off of the shore and allowed himself to sink.
By the time he'd reached the center of the lake he was already down to his neck and still sinking. His nervousness was becoming more and more pronounced by the moment. One last deep breath and he was under. He held it for a bit then exhaled heavily and breathed in pure water. It didn't kill him. He felt entirely normal. Verta moved around the pond with a bit of ease but it wasn't exactly awesome to constantly have his hand on a surfboard.

'No time like the present!' Anime heard from farther down the pond as she watched a man sink into the lake with the surfboard. Anime opened her mouth, closed it, then sighed. That was one of the students from that one class. What was he doing in the water?
...
He'd been down there a long time.
...
Oh Almighty.
"I'm coming!" She shouted, jumping into the water and swimming as hard as she could. He was so far, she wouldn't-...
Come on, teleport... Teleport dang it! Anime kept swimming, and she closed her eyes. She imagined the key, quickly, she had to get to the middle of the pond...
When she opened her eyes, she was deep in the water, and the boy was literally feet away from her. But wait... There was a bubble around him. Hell, he seemed fine! Was he...
He wasn't even holding his breath!
She was losing air!
At realizing her mistake, she started swimming as fast as she could to the surface. She took in some water, scrambling to not panic, she broke the surface.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASP!" Anime started coughing and kept trying to keep herself afloat. It was difficult, and she wasn't sure if she was succeeding or not. The boy was fine... Stupid, you should have known better than to assume and panic, idiot!
She took in more water, and she started coughing more. She was really starting to hate water.

☤Location:Unda da sea(couldn't help myself) Feelings:Happy Thoughts:What is this girl doing?☤ Verta had been having a very pleasant time exploring the bottom of the pond. Nothing really out of the ordinary happened, given this was a school of magic. The occasional mermaid or giant squid would move past him but other than that it was just a regular pond. He hadn't even thought about other people potentially thinking he was downing until he felt the water around him oscillate with movement that wasn't his.
He spun around and stared at the girl, slightly dumbfounded that she'd risked her own life to save someone she didn't even know. Curiouser and curiouser. Verta followed the girl up just to be sure she wouldn't need assistance in staying alive. He broke the surface shortly after her and slightly to her right. Looking over, it still seemed like she was panicking. Pushing all thoughts aside, he paddled over to her and hoisted her up onto the board.
The movement almost capsized the board but Verta was able to keep it upright with a gentle manipulation of the wind around them. With that same wind he pushed them towards the shore and hauled them both up before collapsing on his back and breathing heavily. His eyes pinched shut as he concentrated. Let's see if this works. A harsh wind whipped around Verta, running through every inch of fabric that it could, pulling water out of it and leaving him dry...for the most part.

Once Anime felt someone helping her out, she was immediately embarrassed. Not only did she nearly drown herself for someone that was fine, but that same person was now helping her back on shore. Finally, her coughing stopped and she focused her energy to relax. Yeah, her day was going perfect until she did something stupid. Should have just let it be the end of the day and go home, but no, she had to go on that jog.
Still, competitive as she was, she wasn't ungrateful. She shook her head and fluffed up her hair to get it a little drier, making sure to not hit the other guy with the water, and kept sitting, looking out toward the pond, too embarrassed to look at him. "Thanks for that. Sorry, I should have known you weren't running gun-ho into the pond to drown yourself, of course you can breathe underwater."

☤Location:Side of the pond Feelings:Exhausted Thoughts:What a world I live in...☤ Verta sat up slowly, still heaving in breaths. That took a lot more out of him than he thought it would. His vision blurred a bit but he got it under control fairly quickly. The surfboard had stayed right on the shore. The glow had begun to fade from it. He looked over to her and smiled softly. "Not a problem. Around here you can never be sure if the person is suicidal or not....Did you happen to get an item?"
He was very curious to see just what other powers and items had found their way out of that room. While he was thinking about it, the board that he was just submersed with started to float in front of him before shrinking to a tiny size. A small chain appeared on the end of it turning it into a nice necklace. Lifting the necklace by the chain, he hung it around his neck and tucked it beneath his shirt.

"Yeah," Anime replied, looking up to where her bell was and picking it up from beside her shoes. "The bell thing..." Anime felt something ignite in her, and she had a thought. Just because she used it and it wasn't working for her anymore... Could she maybe have it work for other people?
Taking a chance, Anime shook it facing Verta for a quick second, and as if it was stuck to the side and she shook it loose the bell started to ting again. "Oh great okay hold on right there." Anime looked at him, then at the bell, and she rung it like she did in the room. Sure enough, the silver mist swirled around him, and once more the bell stopped ringing again. She waited for his reaction, subconsciously biting her lower lip. "So how are you feeling?"

☤Location:Beside the pond Feelings:Content Thoughts:Wonder what's gunna happen...what the...☤ Verta looked at the bell curiously. What power could it possibly hold? As the silver mist poured out of he he pulled back a bit, skeptical of what exactly this mist might do. He glanced up at her and the face she was making comforted him slightly. Closing his eyes he breathed in slowly and allowed whatever was going to happen to happen.
The mist soaked his presence and suddenly he had his breath back. Every slight physical ailment he had felt like they had simply vanished. He blinked his eyes back open. Turning his hand over before him he looked slightly astonished. "I feel...fantastic." His gaze turned back to her, his mouth still slightly agape.

Anime balled the bell gently in her fist, "Awesome," she said, then set back down a little to look at her balled fist with a bite still on her lower lip. "Way awesome."
Anime adjusted the bell back on her pant loop and offered her hand for him to shake. "Anime Hunterson. That's Ah-Nime Hunterson. I came from Harganoph-ah... Its a pretty boring place. What's your name, water-breather?" She asked with a light, joking tone in her voice.
