[outside caves]
Jerry sighed, feeling about as exhausted as Jordan was starting to look, but at least the impending danger gave him enough adrenalin to eagerly follow his orders. "Er, bye, Miss." He gave the woman a wave before pursing his lips. This was a mess, but he was certain they'd sort it out. There usually was. At least he was pretty sure he wasn't out of his mind. So far, it seemed whatever had been forgotten had effected Rep and Harrison the worst.
If they didn't sort it out... "Gosh, I wish Killzone was here," He murmured, shaking his head. The thought just cycled to what lay smoldering down the steps and his stomach twisted. He felt useless. But that feeling would pass as well, he was sure. For now, Jordan could use the support.
He cleared his throat, "L-lead the way, boss." He put the emphasis on the word if only for Jordan's sake to know he was just playing along.

Rep froze dead in his tracks as Jordan took hold of his chin, lacking his claws and a means to object he tolerated it irritably, watching Sasha saunter ********! You just lost me a ******** ******** you ******** ********." he snarled in all his lexical splendour.
And at least the idea that B0nez was ok was a relief. He had some solid backup. Even if it was in Harrison's head.
<>
"Where did you get that hammer?" he determinedly asked Jordan. "If we are in danger, I want to know what the ******** I have to work with. I have no claws."

[cave]
Dakota was hovering near that useless body, had picked up her worthless head, and Mimsy didn't make any indication that she intended to stop him. She was confident that she had destroyed anything that remained. He could do whatever he wanted to.
So he busied himself asking forgiveness from a lifeless portion of a body that could not speak; she snorted, amused by his decision to waste his energy in such a way. She was hoping that he might place the head back on its body and try to kiss it better, just so she could laugh again, but he spoke to her instead, and the words felt just as ridiculous.
"Yes," she responded, staring at him incredulously. "I survived in my entirety. She did not. Ergo, I stand victorious. And your argument otherwise is possibly the most idiotic thing that I have ever heard. The truth lies in facts of humans, not concepts of humans. Logically, the only other places that she even arguably exists, which I would potentially not count, are alternate versions in alternate dimensions - though I will destroy all of those too, if I find them."
As he moved to leave the cave with the (empty) head, he pointed Svensyl in his direction and laughed again.
"But please tell her hello when you see her freely walking about."
Her gaze fell to Lucky, and she smiled, teeth staining red from the blood she had not bothered to wipe away.

[Outside Caves]
Jordan let go, still furiously tense and strung wire-tight, but he was deeply relieved that Rep hadn't called that particular bluff, because it had been a bluff. "Hold that thought for later," he growled back. The question made him freeze for an instant, thinking fast. It was a dangerous line of thought, and one he couldn't deflect forever; nor could he put it off forever, because the distinct possibility remained that they would have to fight. "I'll show you," he said. "Come on."
With that, he turned and started heading south. Jerry would follow, he was pretty sure Harrison would as well, and that semi-cryptic statement should be enough of a hook to get Rep's attention, even this belligerent and defiant version.

Jerry jogged ahead to catch up with Jordan, keeping his voice low, "Are you sure it's a g-good idea? To show him until it's necessary. The weapons I mean. He's even more unpredictable than normal-" He babbled, dripping with worry.

"It's not," Jordan replied in an undertone, "but I can't put him off forever, and I don't want to lie."

He was ruffled and he was irritable, treated like a child and denied information left and right. Did they know who he was? He was going to have to ******** claw some eyes out with the attitudes around here.
Curling his lip he rubbed his chin, watching Jordan go on ahead a short way before following with none of his usual almost teenage slouchiness but instead a keen military gait. He did not have many other options.
Tracey felt pleased. He could feel the emotions radiating from the woman fallen angel. <> he challenged she replied curtly.
Jerry speaking privately to Jordan however briefly made him narrow his eyes, he'd always been expecting a coup in Vegas. Maybe in this world, maybe that would be where it finally happened. Except in this world they were all soft, if they challenged him, if they so much as dared to lay a hand on him, he would tear everything down.
This kingdom was all wrong.

[Caves] Jason didn't know what was going on. This wasn't unusual. Quite the norm actually. But considering he had been taking a shower and had blacked out only to go on the most bizarre adventure of his life (so far), he was a little out of it. When he came to with a start, he was still soaking wet and hearing the sounds of alarms going off left and right. Thankfully he had enough foresight to pull on some pants and his coat and ran out of the showers (with Zanth going batshit in his mind about how he wasn't wearing a shirt) He made it in time to see something so horrible and indescribable, he'd be having nightmares about it for weeks. The events had successfully made all logical thought flee his mind as he flattered himself near a cave wall trying to look as small as possible, then stumble out of said cave looking as pale as a ghost. This wasn't something he had wanted to wake up to. And then he saw a familiar face. With a sigh of relief, he quickly walked over to Solia. "There you are..." Jason replied, sounding very tired as he tried to smile her way. It was half hearted, considering he was in no mood for smiling, but at the very least he wanted something to hold on to. So he did. By embracing the death trainee in a gentle hug. "Are you okay?"

[ South Beach ]
"Noble warriors!" the absolutely (not) nude man barked, now covered in convenient places with Eva's coat. "Your sacrifices will not be forgotten! Now, I must depart, but stay strong. Only you can Protect what you believe in!"
He sort of just stood there. Maybe he was waiting for someone. Or something. Who knows.
At this point, the sunlight was so strongly concentrated on a single area (around the not quite nude man) that it actually hurt to stare straight at the area, there was a strong flash of light and then what sounded like some really random music-
- And then they were gone (with Eva's coat). A single, rather beautiful gemstone was left behind however, glowing a bright blue.

Chel moved forward to touch the blue gem. It could've been important.
At the very least she could sell it off and use the money to runic her electronics. Mama wanted her gamecube back.

"I...." Otto sounded like he was going to say something, but promptly shut his mouth, no words fitting to the feeling he was feeling toward that now gone man. Was that.. had he actually been... but he was so different he.... couldn't have been but... "You uh... he took yer coat, Eva..." Oh lookit that! A shiny thing. "Careful, he mighta crapped that out, yanno. Don't touch stuff ya find on the ground, chiclet."

...Did that mean she wasn't getting her coat back? Because that weird guy just up and disappeared with it, and--
..."That's okay," She said slowly in reply to Otto, her expression still somewhat blank as she tried to take in the absurdity of it all, "At least he's not...dangling anymore." Not in full view for the whole world to see, which was a vast improvement.
Struggling to continue keeping all of her troubled thoughts suppressed for now, Eva eyed the blue gem warily, a surprised laugh escaping her lips at the blond's words. "I uh...I don't know about that, but do be careful, yes." The last thing she wanted was for that thing to explode and blast the four of them back or something.

[ Eastern Security Detail ]
Her stride was kept to a controlled step, pace hurried but not too much of a run. Strength, Aria reminded herself. It wouldn't do the hunters any good to see her break a sweat.
She left the caves to the other hunters, instead clutching a small runic device as she headed elsewhere. There were other things she needed to attend to, and if her suspicions were correct...
At last on the eastern side of the island, Aria activated the runic device and raised it to her eyes, scanning the impending waves with a frown.

The gem flashed-
- And Chel was blasted back about twenty feet - thankfully they were standing on sand.
It continued to glow warmly, but unfortunately, could not be picked up.
