An odd wave of energy pulsed through the room. When Fire had first entered the room Death's body had become transpart, like that of a lost soul. However as the attack came towards them Death lurched forward, using all the power within her body to solidify herself and push Fire out of the way taking the hit head on. Unlike before her body shock under the small force of the attack. Dropping to her knees than to her arms she cringed a bit in pain.

Jumping infront of the attack she scream, "I said stop it!" The air around her began to move. Closing her eyes she concentrated. Slowly her arm began to transform, taking it's true form. Clentching her claw she lunged forward, anger filled her eyes. Drawing her clentched claw back she hurled it hard and straight into Walter's gut, causing the attack to fail. Through clentched teeth she spoke, "I said stop..."

Dropping low she spun, taking out his legs, "I won't let you hurt her. I would rather die than let that happen." She backed up a bit, turning to Death. Extending her arm to Death she smiled, "We're different... yet we're the same." As Death's hand touched Fire's the two souls merged and Fire turned back to Walter speaking softly, her voice just barely above a whisper, "If you even so much as glance at her wrong Walter.... I'll... I'll make you regret it."
