Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "He did that?" She asked him though she wouldn't put it past Vlad to do something like that. He wasn't always known for his restraint. "You mean you felt it too? While we were shopping I saw a vampire I think he might have been following us, I asked my mom if he knew any of any vampires with violet eyes, but he didn't know of anyone. It could just be a friend of my father's that is watching out for us while dad is in Arabor." She said trying to ease some of his worries. "Hey, do you want to go swimming or something? We can use the pools here, dad sort of made them bigger since my mom came around. And I will stay in this form to make it fair." She said smiling at Alvin. "We should let my mom know that we wont go out again today though, maybe he would like to swim too."

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Was it because Valentina had just been kidnapped that he was having someone watch them, or because he didn't trust or like Alvin? His personal opinion was that Vladimir detested Alvin and didn't want his family alone with him, but it made more sense to assume that he was just watching out for his daughter. "So, your father hires people to stalk his family. As if the weird scale wasn't already so full....Anyway, I'd be happy to go swimming with you, but only if you show me how mermai...merfolk do it. You didn't so much swimming when we were talking through the tank. I'm interested to see how you really are in the water. Deal?"

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "Yes, my family is weird, but that what I love about them! If it weren't for my parents I wouldn't be here, sure you would be back at your home but did you really like that? Being trapped in that place just as I was?" She asked getting a bit upset that Alvin was criticizing her father for being protective of his family. "You want to see how I swim? Why its like a dolphin nothing too fancy about it." She said looking at the male for a moment before she nodded. "Alright, lets go to the pool, its a bit different from ones your used to I think. We have salt water instead of the chlorine filled things you use." Tina turned around and left Alvin in his room believing he would follow her as she went towards the indoor pool. Sure it was connected to the outdoor one and the system of tunnels that connected the entire castle. As she stopped at the pool she didn't hesitate to jump into the pool her tail forming as she was still in the air. With barely a splash she was in the water looking up at the place she had been to see if Alvin had followed her. Even if he didn't, she wanted to swim feeling relaxed in the water. 'Momma, would you like to come swimming? Alvin and I are staying here right now, not wanting to go back out to be followed. Actually, Alvin would like to see how we swim.'

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin frowned. There were better and safer ways tk keep an eye on your family than having strangers stalk them. He would judge the vampire's chosen method. Why not go to town with them? It's not like anyone bothered them any. Valentina left and the teen sighed. Maybe he should judge quietly. Remembering he didn't have anything to swim in, Alvin sighed. He couldn't swim in his boxers like most guys would. He didn't want to be a pervert. If it was just him, he wouldn't mind. Crap. I should have thought this through....Sal was in the garden with his plants, tending to them as he waited for the two to get ready. After some time, Tina spoke to him and he smiled a bit. He could understand why thy wanted to stay home. "After I tend the gardens. I think my mint plants are wilting....I'll talk to Vlad about the vampires."

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Tina swam around for a bit wondering if anyone was going to join her. She would wait for Sal to finish in the garden, something he liked to do and she had enjoyed as a child, until the sun got to a point she would get headaches and her skin turned red. She didn't burn as a vampire her age would thanks to being half mermaid, but the feeling was still unpleasant enough that she tried to avoid it when she could. Perhaps when she got a bit older she wouldn't be bothered by it at all. Tina closed her eyes and thought to Alvin. 'You know, its alright to come swimming. Is there an issue or something?' She asked not realizing that he might not like to swim in his underwear. if she had known that, she could suggest borrowing something of her father's as he had a few shorts Alvin could probably fit into and her father wouldn't mind.

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin gave a nervous chuckle. "Ah....Well, I didn't really think about swimwear. And, it's inappropriate to swim in my boxers when there's a lady around." Was he going to have to burrow Vladimir's? The teen shuddered a bit. He would, of course, and it wasn't because it was Vladimir's. Wearing other people's clothes was just unsanitary, at best.

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Tina looked at Alvin then and giggled. 'That is the problem? I don't really see anything wrong with that, after all your covered right? But if that is the issue, Im sure there are some shorts you can use. I think my father has spare clothing, I know he did when I was a child unsure of who would be around.' She said after a moment of thought.

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin chuckled nervously. He had to go into Vladimir and Sal's room? Or....Were they somewhere else? "Mind guiding me to them? I don't know the castle that well."

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Tina realized that he didn't know the castle as he said that and she shook her head blushing a bit. 'Right, Im sorry about that I forgot that you don't know your way around yet.' She said before getting out of the pool and changing her tail for her legs once again. "Alright, I believe we have some in one of the guest rooms." 'Mom, do you remember where the spare clothing is kept? We forgot that Alvin doesn't have swimwear and he doesn't want to swim in his boxers.'

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin blushed a bit, turning away as Valentina turned back to her human form. He turned to her again after a few moments. "Spare clothing?...I believe your father stores them in the attic."

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "Alright, the spare clothing is in the attic, if you would follow me, we can find something that will fit you." She said after a moment before she left the pool area letting Alvin follow her if he so decided. If he didn't, she could find his size and bring it to him she was pretty sure.

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin followed Valentina. He kept his gaze on the floor, but occasionally looked at her. She was beautiful. Really. God, if Vladimir ever found out he thought that, Alvin was dead. "...Are you still upset that I insulted Vladimir?"

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters "Yes, I am still upset about that. He is my father and if he is having someone follow us he is only doing so to protect his family. He knew you were uncomfortable around him which was why he stayed behind. It seems he was returning the car to the man he took it from and now it will take him a few days to return." Once they got to the attic Tina opened up the doorway and crawled up. "Okay, the clothes should be around here somewhere." When she saw a chest she smiled. "Ah ha here it is." She opened up the chest of drawers and looked inside. Everything was still brand new and she smiled again. "You can have your pick of what you want to wear."

Alfred "Alvin" Mathis Alvin frowned. "Look, Princess. Yeah, you're dad's a creep for having his family stalked by God-knows-who. But, my problem with him is that he's a ******** p***k. I lost everything, even risking my life, for him and his precious family, and all he does is treat me like I'm a ******** criminal. Yeah, my dad wasn't really the world's greatest man, but he was all I ever had. I don't care what Vladimir's problem is, but he could at least pretend to have some sympathy for the kid that helped his daughter." Alvin followed her up to the attic, not even in the mood to do anything. Going over to the trunk, he looked through the clothes. Why did they have a bunch of brand new clothes? God, this family was weird. Alvin stopped looking and shook his head. "I'm not going to apologize for thinking bad of him. I won't make an effort to be on his good side when he doesn't even want me around. Honestly, I wish you had just let Dad kill me. Would have saved us all the trouble....Besides, I'm pretty sure it was Vladimir who tipped Dad off. He had no idea that I had gone to see your parents until after he was attacked by your father." He could be home right now in his classes or doing homework or something. "...Look. I appreciate you helping me. Believe it or not, I do. It's just....Forget it. I'm done. Go swimming on your own. I'm going to go...drown myself in depression or something."

Valentina "Tina" Rouminouff-Atwaters Tina was not surprised at his outburst, she probably would have been the same if she had been in his shoes. Still, she didn't see why he had to be angry with her. She didn't mean to cause him any trouble. "He doesn't believe in sympathy, at least not for some people. As for giving you a hard time, he doesn't really trust you, being the son of the man he hates, and being close to my age, he feels your a threat Im sure of it." When it looked like he wasn't going to pick anything out she let out a sigh. "You can take something and use it later if you want. I will leave you alone." She said after a few moments of silence. She no longer wanted to swim in the pool. No, she was going to go to a place no human could follow her, and if Sal wanted to get in contact with her, he would know where to look. Turning from Alvin Tina left the attic not caring if he found his way out of the attic or not. If he wanted to leave the castle she wasn't going to stop him at all. Tina knew Alvin had the right to feel the way he did, but her parents were all she really had, and no one had ever said anything like that about her father before. Once she was at the pool she changed into her mermaid form and swam for the open ocean. She wasn't interested in staying in the castle just then and she didn't tell her mother where she went either. No, she wanted to be alone just then to deal with what Alvin had said. If she had remained in that tank, Alvin would have his old life, the one he seemed to want so badly.
