Lily was listening to them as they argued and discuss what they would do, it was obvious they didnt trust the gene children, to be fair she could tell one or two may have not been bad but she didn't know them at all and it could have been just a ruse she sighed mubbling to herself as she didnt think they cared about her opinion "all creators have a fail safe just in case their creations fall into the wrong hands..." she muttered to herself "in this case you change the Blueprints minorly and when they see it doesnt work and blame you you do it yourself with the change removed making it work...showing them they are manipulating" she finished in her head its what seh would have done in this situation as she stood there with her arms crossed as she simply looked at the entrance wondering what exactly was going on in this place, everyone was against each other she was surprised the place was even standing.
+ Weapon Creation: she can create weapons she owns(puts them in a sort of collection only to pull them out when needed) in total she only has the blood blade + Elemental force: she can harness 4 elements with the help of her sword Fire,Water, ice, and Air + Nine Tailed form: an extra form that She can tap into, she hasn't perfected it yet so she cant keep it up for long, but her abilities are much stronger making her a force to be reckoned with. she is able to manipulate her tails to the point to being able to grab things and attack with them as well as defend. + Enhanced speed + Anti-Madness manipulation: much like Madness it can take its own form, but because she has this she is immune to madness, she can take damage from attacks from madness but she can't be infected, this element is strong against madness users and Black blood users for some reason, she can also add it to her own weapons or limbs, +(unknown) +(unknown) +(unknown)

Entering the room, Despair stood at attention and remained silent, he played the role of a perfect solider. Hearing his first words, Despair thought back to how the other officers reacted towards him. There were strange looks and inaudible whispers. Needless to say, he had already caught on to their strange behaviors and such, but as he listened to Prince Damien, Despair began to understand it all. "Now that you mention it, they do seem to be on guard around me. I spoke up about it, but they brushed it all away, but now everything is clear." Despair stated as he noticed Damien's wave and made his way to the chair across from him. Sitting down, Despair continued listening to what the Prince had to say. As the Prince continued speaking, Despair had already understood what it was that he wanted him to do and he had to say, it was absolutely perfect. The so-called Gene Children were admittedly shaken by the aspect that their power and authority would be stripped from them, because of the senior officers, but they couldn't sully their own hands with this task, which is where Despair came in. While not saying it outright, Prince Damien had given Despair his own personal mission, one which aligned with Despair's own personal goals, how could he not enjoy this turn of events. Once Damien finished speaking, Despair stood up and saluted with a big smile on face, he just couldn't contain his excitement. "Understood, sir!" Despair stated as he nodded and then turned to leave.

Mirai listened to the staff quietly as she stood there. Since her role as Mary wasn't a higher rank, she didn't really think it was a good idea to speak up unless asked. Then that opportunity came up as they were trying to figure out how to use the BAMID without the Gene Children getting in the way. "Umm... maybe we can use the fact that we are the ones that will have the BAMID blueprints to our advantage... I mean... if our group has the blueprints, we are the only ones with the knowledge to build it?" Mirai asked. "I mean... I apologize for speaking up about this since I am in a lower rank but we can't just give them the BAMID... especially with knowing that it can lead to our demise. So just as she said..." Mirai motioned to Lily "How about we build the BAMID in our favor?...

The redhead would observe and listen for the time being. She was blinded by how human these machinist were that for a minute she actually forgot the mission. And the fact that they were indeed in a no man's land disguised as a surviving camp. The power struggle was real, and the bruise in her stomach because of her little loudmouth back then remained as a reminder of what would happen if she "took" the liberty to speak without the permission. So far she wasn't asked, and even when Mirai saw the opportunity to speak her mind, Melanie would be a little more hesitant.
"Good, good," Prince Damien replied when he heard Despair's answer. "Just as I'd expect from a Royal Guardsman. Your enthusiasm and dedication are an example for us all." He stood up again. "You may take your leave and return to the other Officers. Please take care on the mission. You're a valuable asset to us and I would hate to lose one such as yourself." He gave a small smile then gestured towards the door indicating that Despair should go.
Meanwhile, back at the Command Tent the Command Staff was listening to Mirai's suggestion. "There's no cause for apology SF Weinbaum. As a member of the Command Staff you are here to give your thoughts on the matter. As for your idea..." Captain Belle said, pausing for a moment. "None of us here have the knowledge or expertise to build the BAMID; all we can do is retrieve the blueprints. The MIST engineers will be the ones to build it. They support us over the Gene Children I'm certain, but I don't know if they'd be willing to alter the BAMID for our purposes." Lt. Laurell spoke up. "Besides, what would we alter it to do? The engineers building the BAMID have families that will need the augments too. It's not like they'll make the BAMID build faulty or non-working augments if we ask them to. Not to mention there may still be some engineers loyal to the Gene Children. We don't know exactly which ones we could trust to do something like that." Betsy looked around at everyone "Okay, let's look at this one step at a time. We go on the mission, we bring back the BAMID blueprints. Our next step would be to hand over the blueprints to the MIST engineers and report our success to the Gene Children. The engineers will immediately begin building the BAMID once they receive the blueprints. Once they complete the BAMID, the Gene Children will give orders on who gets augmentations and when. Most likely the Gene Children will attempt to delay the augmentation process long enough for those at the end of the line to die off from different aliments like infection, malnutrition, accidents, combat casualties and so on. But they'll move it fast enough to make sure their supporters are augmented to survive. At least, that's what's going to happen if we do nothing. We need to stop the end result from happening. But how...?"
Lily sighed "they're missing the point" she muttered to mirai as she just listened to them she wasn't going to speak up, the main reason was they still saw her as a pleasure kitsune most likely despite what happened in the showers, so she figured they'd only listen to mirai and texas if anything would be said from the group. she would walk over to a chair and sit down placing her head on her hand which was held up by her knee, she was also listening to the outside "you all might want to speed up this conversation...i dont think the gene children will talk for a long time to one person...they're bound to send him back soon"

Things did seem to get agitated for the people here in the machinist faction. The redhead wouldn't mind suggesting a few ideas. Then again what purpose would they serve? Once they commented about the engineers being loyal to both factions and that was impossible so far to tell apart which ones were loyal and which were not. That enough was just what it was needed to throw all her suggestions through the window.
Sighing as Lily pointed Despair would show up any minute, she closed her arms and waited for the officers chatter to be over either by time or by Kevin's arrival.

With Prince Damien's final words, Despair would salute once more and exit the Prince's chamber. As he made his way back to the command room, Despair was already coming up with various plans on how he would carry out his mission. Despite the fact that he was sent there to save the Machinists, it looked more like Despair would end up killing them all, though even he wasn't that heartless....hopefully. After walking for a few minutes, Despair finally arrived at the Command Center. Saluting the guards out front, he would make his way into the room, stopping before the door. It seemed like they were having a little meeting and without their beloved Guardsmen. Despair was tempted to ease drop at the door, curious as to what they were planning exactly, but he was the type to enjoy surprises and would rather let them reveal their little plan on their own accord. Then again, it was even more fun to prod them, so, without any warning or hesitation, Despair opened the doors to the room, sporting a smile as he did. "Royal Guardsmen, reporting in." he stated, while saluting and taking his seat, right next to Melanie, "So, did I miss anything?" he whispered to her.

Mirai listened to Belle, Laurell, and Betsy as they spoke. "If the engineers are on our side then we can plan something around that...?" she suggested. Just then, Despair appeared once more and Mirai went quiet. Even though he was on their side, she didn't trust Despair one bit. It slightly agitated her more with the fact that he was trying to talk to Melanie after what he did to her earlier. "We have some time to brainstorm," she added and left it at that. In Mirai's head, they had until the end of the mission to figure out what to do with the blueprints and the Gene Children.

The Officers glanced back at Lily when she pointed out that Despair would be coming back soon. They knew she was right; Prince Damien wouldn't keep him forever. They listened to Mirai when she offered her advice. "She's right: we don't have to decide right now," Lt. Laurell agreed. "Time is running out; we'll have to decide soon," Captain Cross said. Just then Despair returned to the tent. April May, who was watching out for him as well, quickly saluted. "Guardsman Schwartz, SIR!" She said, loud enough for the others to hear. The other officers quickly turned and saluted as well, quickly dropping their conversation. Captain Cross ended the salute. "If there's nothing else, I think it's about time for lights-out. We'll be up at 0-600 tomorrow so we're going to need it. Captain Schifo, if you would escort the males to the male barracks." Captain Schifo nodded and turned to the males. "Follow me," he told them. With that, the males and females split into groups, threading their way through the maze of tents in opposite directions. After several minutes of walking each group was before their respective barracks. The women's barracks was much nicer than the men's though this time it was because the women simply took better care of theirs. Both of them looked like typical barracks: lines of bunk beds with nothing but two sheets and one pillow. Some officers were already asleep. Others were reading or writing using dim, personal lights. Those Officers who were undressed had their uniforms hanging on racks next to their beds. All in all they were mostly long, empty rooms with beds in them. While the Gene Children seemed to live in slight luxury, the Officers clearly did not at all.

Mirai relaxed slightly as Belle dismissed the meeting right after Despair arrived and it seemed to be time to go to bed. She waved slightly at Texas before following the other female officers to the barracks. As she stepped into the place they would be spending the night, Mirai glanced around quietly with her hands in her coat pockets. It seemed comfortable for the most part.
Lily would leave with the other officers only to remain quiet, as she saw the barracks she would go to the furthest in the back of the tent she would just go in the bed and attempt to fall asleep so that she could hurry up the mission so she wouldnt have to deal with despair much more

Everything became silent for a few seconds when Despair showed up. Melanie was nervous, despite her somewhat calm exterior. Her eyes knew the face of the one who hit her harder than anyone had done so far. With the sole exception of Carmen. She remained quiet, looking elsewhere every now and then hoping that he'll go anywhere but near her. But just her luck, their eyes met as he was just sporting his smile. A cold shiver ran down his spine as his eyes met with hers for longer than it usually should be. Why was he staring at her? Why was he walking to her direction? Among all the people, why her? Heck her rank was barely higher than the pleasure kitsune. Why would a Royal Guardsman sit by her side? This was so out of character, but also out of her control. All she could do was hope for the best, but then again, she knew that wouldn't happen the moment she felt his warm breath against her skin, just fractions of a second before he would whisper his question.
"I-I uh..."
Terrified, she made her best to keep her act, but, it was somehow forgivable if she broke out a little, right? Debating on wether to stay strong or break down, there was also the constant fear that Kevin would lose his patience, which was something she would like to avoid. But what should she answer? There was no way she could tell them about the plan Belle had spoken just now. It would be suicidal. At least according to the role they played. Her hands braced her clothes, pushing from the deepest part of her soul her words out. "We were making sure everyone's aware that the situation at the bath house would never happen again. W-we didn't liked that at all. We are supposed to work as a team, to be able to trust one another on the battlefield. B-but how are we supposed to do so if we can't even trust they'll respect out privacy? A-anyways that's all " It was pretty much what she could come up with given the short time she had to react. Hopefully that would keep Kevin's curiosity at bay.

Hearing Melanie's reply, Despair would remain silent for a few seconds, before letting out a small chuckle. Did she take him for a fool? Did she forget that behind the illusion of Guardsmen Kevin, was the demon Despair? Despair almost felt like prodding her a little more, putting just a little more pressure on her, so that she would break down. However, he would let it slide....for now. "I see." Despair stated as he smiled and then placed his hand on the girl's shoulder. "Thank you for keeping me informed." he would say in a somewhat sarcastic tone. As soon as he got his answer, Captain Belle would dismiss everyone and have them be on their way to their barracks. Following Schifo, Despair looked inside the barracks and noticed all the officers. However, seeing this did bring an idea to the demon. "Captain Schifo, I trust that I have my own personal tent?" Despair asked. "I'm sure that you all wouldn't want to share the same tent as me, anyway." This would be a little hint at Despair knowing their intents. "Please escort me to it."
As the female DWMA members entered the barracks Captain Cross called a head-count of the other officers already inside. She rattled off a list of several dozen names and each one responded with "Present Ma'm!". It seemed everyone who had this shift to sleep was here. With that Captain Cross turned and locked the door to the barracks. While this wasn't a normal procedure, the event that took place with the showers earlier had made her more cautious. "Lights out in 5!" She called. The various girls acknowledged and began to split up to their own bunks. Some of them had been playing cards, others had been talking quietly among each other. Some of them were already in their underwear and were busy straightening out their uniforms as much as was possible without any means of ironing them. While they all looked and sounded different, they all carried the same military professionalism in everything they did. There were a lot of eyes on Melanie, Mirai and Lily but they were curious stares rather than suspicious ones. The other girls in the Command Staff all went to where they had clearly staked out their own bunks beforehand and took off their uniforms, getting ready for bed. Some of the girls went around shutting the windows and drawing the curtains as Captain Cross slowly dimmed the lights with a warning that they had 60 seconds before the lights went out. Captain Cross looked at the 3 DWMA students. "This is the only barracks we have besides the male one so some of us have to double-bunk," she told them matter-of-factly. "I'm sure you had to do it in training as par for the course, but in case you forgot the bunks are really small so if you're a restless sleeper be sure to warn your partner." The other girls mostly seemed to have already sorted out who they'd sleep with and most of them were already snuggling into their bunks. Lt. Kiea turned and took Melanie's hands in hers. "Oh, Melanie, Melanie, you can sleep with me okay?" She asked as she started pulling her towards what was apparently Kiea's bunk, an excited look on her face. "Don't worry, I don't snore or anything and I don't take up a lot of room! I stay in the bottom bed of this bunk over here!" Betsy looked over at Mirai. "You can stay in my bunk if you want?" She offered with a friendly smile, hands clasped behind her back. "We'll sleep in the bottom bunk, two other girls sleep in the bunk above us." Ironically, the prejudice against Lily worked in her favor this time as none of the other girls seemed to want to bunk with her, giving her the entire bottom bunk to herself. After a few more moments the lights were shut off completely and all the girls were in their beds. It was dead quiet. Or at least for regular humans it was. Several minutes after the lights had gone out an upside down head with Faux ears slowly lowered itself down from the bunkbed above Lily. "Psst," April May whispered quietly to Lily. Her ears were in an upright and alert position. "How do you sleep like this...?" She whispered quietly. As far as human ears could hear it was quiet enough to sleep; the girls were courteous enough for that. But those with above-human hearing would still be able to hear a lot in the enclosed barracks. April May glanced around as she leaned upside down above Lily's bunk. One girl had an Ipod in and was listening to music while using a tiny light to write something down in what was probably a journal or a diary. Another girl continued to shift in her sleep, the springs of her bed creaking ever so slightly with each turn. The girl in the bunk next to Lily and April would quietly mutter something in her sleep every now and then. April narrowed her eyes in frustration, not sure how to block out these sounds. "I usually just put the pillow over my head but I have to practically suffocate myself to block out the noises..."
Meanwhile, Captain Schifo stood with the other males just outside the male barracks. Unlike the female barracks, this one was much less crowded and everyone got their own bunk with even a few left over. Texas and the other male officers disappeared inside the barracks while Captain Schifo stood outside, waiting for everyone to enter. He turned to look at Despair as he addressed him. When Despair mentioned that he was sure the other officers wouldn't want to share a tent with him Captain Schifo blinked once but otherwise kept a perfect pokerface. "I can certainly arrange that for you," the Captain replied. While requesting ones own tent would be suspicious in most instances, for a Royal Guardsman it was not. Schifo didn't seem surprised at all that Despair had asked for one. He closed the door to the barracks and began walking again. "Follow me please Guardsman," he said as he once again threaded through the mass of tents and hastily constructed buildings. After several minutes he stood before an inconspicuous-looking tent and patted the closed flap with his hand. There was motion from inside and the flap unzipped. "What?" A voice asked. Captain Schifo jerked his head slightly to the side. "Both of you out," he replied. The two inside the tent didn't budge. "Why?" Captain Schifo's face remained perfectly neutral. "Because your tent's been requisitioned, that's why," he replied simply. The tent slowly unzipped the rest of the way and two men exited. They didn't look like anything special except that they had on civilian clothing that, while still tattered, seemed like it had been fancier than the others at some point. "What for?" One of the men asked, sounding annoyed. Captain Schifo nodded towards Despair. "Because a Royal Guardsman requires a tent," Schifo told them. The two men's eyes widened at the words "Royal Guardsman". They gave Despair one astonished look before they hurried off. Captain Schifo held back the tent flap for Despair. "All yours," he told him. "I'll be in the men's barracks if you need me." Inside the tent the few furnishings looked somewhat more upscale than the ones in the other tents they had passed by. For one thing there were two full beds, each one complete with sheets and two soft pillows. There was also a heavy-looking wooden desk and a chair propped against it with several books lying across it. There was also a water cooler filled with what looked like fresh, pure water in the corner of the room complete with small paper cones to put the water in. A small lamp hung from the roof of the tent to light the area and there was even a microwave with a cord that snaked underneath the tent and back to the outside, probably hooked up to a generator somewhere. A small cupboard was stocked with food, some of which could be heated up for a warm meal. Overall it looked like the tent belonged to some of the more well-to-do citizens though it wasn't clear exactly why they were so important from looking around the tent itself. Captain Schifo lowered the tent flap once Despair entered and zipped it up behind him, disappearing back into the maze of tents as he made his way back to the men's barracks.
