Wyrdda had picked as her partner her roommate, a Goblin named Oriset. After some quick discussion, they agreed which one would take which side. Wyrdda wrote out her arguments on a sheet of paper.
The country of Boreas is impassable in winter, which can be a severe problem for many of the far-flung communities throughout the region. Harsh weather, long winters, and the rocky nature of the soil makes the region a less-than ideal place to grow crops. Manipulating the natural forces throughout the country would open up Borean villages to the delivery of food during tough times. The region is hardly hospitable, and census data is difficult to collect. It is unknown how many Borean families have lost children to famine or disease. Magic would allow food and medicine to flow freely through the region, saving countless lives. Not only is this not unethical--it is the very essence of ethics. We as a civilized people must do everything we can to keep people safe and healthy. We have a duty to do whatever we can to help other people.
Furthermore, clearing aside the obstacles would allow the fresh flow of ideas both to and from Boreas, allowing people of all countries and races to benefit from new thoughts and beliefs.
Satisfied, Wyrdda slid her paper over to her partner.

Prompt Answer:
Oriset looked over her roomie's arguments and nodded thoughtfully. Yep. She could definitely trounce this argument. She set the paper down and looked the Grimm in the eye. "This isn't any of our business," she said bluntly. "Ethical or not. Really, the ethical thing to do in this state is to ask the Boreans if they actually want their country opened up to travel. I mean, it's not just Litches, it's Chimeras too, right? And from what I understand of those gals, they're pretty xenophobic. If they don't want strangers running amok through their--aha, sacred land? Then we really oughtn't to mess with 'em."
She was warming to the subject now. "You bring up the point of census. We haven't had censuses in Boreas--I assume. I don't know jack squat about Boreas. But I'm willing to bet actual money that that means there haven't been too many ecological studies in the region, either. We don't know how badly we could be messing up the place. What if we drive species to extinction? Ruin pristine wilderness? Or some unique rock formation or whatever? We shouldn't do that--we don't have all that much nature in the first place. We can't go ruining the place."
The saw the sparkle in her roommate's eye. Ah, yes. Her roommate agreed with that at least. That was comforting. Though wasn't that a Grimmy thing to think anyway? "And we might as well go back to that earlier point, the bit about people. The Boreans were the only people not-- um, effed up by the war. Because no one could get into Boreas. If someone where to start a conflict, and I'm not saying anyone will, but they probably will, and if they do, we shouldn't go around building portals all the way around a fortress. I mean, then we'd be exposing poor, innocent, defenseless farmers and miners to the horrors of our hypothetical war. And that's not really a good thing."
There. That would do for an argument, she was sure. She sat back, confident that she had won. She'd known she'd win before she started--both of them had wanted to take this side!
Prompt Answer:Book reports were relatively easy for Citali, especially since she loved to read. Her biggest problem was the fact that she almost had forgotten which book had been her assigned book from this class as she had read so many more since she finished said book. So after digging through her dorm room, she managed to find the paperwork that had the assigned book listed on it, and quickly got the paper done. Now that she was here in class, she decided to read over it once more.
------------
Living Life Alone by Dar Acklen is the story of a Fallen who lives life alone, as the title pretty much gives away. This Fallen, Tavien, has never tried to have any friends, or any thing in way of a life. Just work and home. Constantly reading a book. He runs into some problems along the way, and realizes that no one will ever notice that something has happened to him, because no one knows that he even really exists since he kept to himself so much. It has a very sad ending, because Tavien does eventually die in the end because no one noticed that he had been missing.
This Goblin is feeling that the message in this book, is a hint from her teacher, to try to be more engaged in life around her. To make friends and live outside the world of books, so as not to die alone. While the message is understood, it's something that will probably never change. People can be to complex and hard to understand. It's safer to be alone sometimes.

At least he didn't pick super strange letters that were a pain to work with. Though, he would have been up to the challenge if that had been the case. With a grin, he scribbled down his sentences.

After much effort in trying to stay conscious while coloring, she began to write out the accompanying sentences... but not without pausing here and there to let her brain try to catch up with the assignment.

Entry: Freddy felt totally jazzed! He loved coloring, and even the prospect of having to write some sentences didn't faze him. He went up to the stacks up papers and looked them over, trying to find the perfect ones. He settled on two that looked like they might be fun, but not too hard to make sentences with, then took them back to his desk to color. The sentences were a little less fun, but at least his pictures helped give him ideas!
"Rabbits are not blue." "Red is a color."
"Trees can be really small!" "Tangerines are tasty!"
Wayne frowned at the letters something fierce. He wasn't particularly good with making things colorful or pretty but he sure as heck did his best to color within the lines. Sure his color-choices were rather limited but he put in a lot of effort all the same. And now it was time to write his sentences.

Coloring letters, oh dear. Couldnt he have something that was a bit more challenging. Then again art was always nice and it was a chance to use his colored pencils. He just had to remember not to get carried away. Oh and he should probably remember the sentences too, it wouldnt due to make a pretty picture and then screw up the assignment because he got carried away

After all his dad was working on possibly one day being a composer and his mom was an actress who was working on her degree so that one day she could possibly go teach. Under no circumstances should one steal their little siblings cookies, especially if it ends up making them cry. Umbrellas are really nice to have during rainy days.
Entry: Valentein sighed as they looked down at their page of writing. This assignment had been especially difficult. Even more than talking about their favorite food. More things about the past they were forced to remember. Valentein had reluctantly completed the assignment and shuffled up to Lyra and to hand it to her, not even making eye contact, not saying a word.
My First Memory
When I was very small, I remember spending a lot of time with my Fallen mother. She was the most graceful person I knew and I wanted to be just like her. My Baphomet mom wasn't around all that much when I was growing up because she traveled a lot but I saw her every so often. In her absence, I learned as much as I could from my mother and about Fallen history and culture. She taught me a song that was passed down through her family. It was something only she and I shared. So I guess, my first and last memory of her is that song she taught me so long ago.
Prompt Answer: Xochi had to consider the prompt for some time, but she was proud of her answer by the time she had put it in for the teacher.
If I could be another race, who would I want to be? The answer is rather simple and very obvious to me. I would want to be a Litch. Litch have fantastically long lifespans and they use them to their full advantage, learning as much as they can and applying it to the universe. I would want this extra time and intense focus so that I could make advancements in my field, though I am sure without this added bonus I will be able to attain my dreams.
I do find myself wondering if the lower or slower movements would be a hamper to myself. I have not heard if this is a major problem for Litch scientists. Are they in danger should an experiment go foul and they cannot flee from it in time? Or add the necessary compound to stop a negative chemical reaction? It would be troublesome, indeed, to be burdened by this. Also I know many people find their manner of being so focused unnerving, but I find their intellect profoundly more interesting their their unwavering stares.
These are mostly stereotypes, mind you, and I do not wish to offend anyone who might see this. All Nightmares and Day Dreams are different and special, and should not be held down by negative stereotypes.

Entry: Her first memory..? Saerun stared up at Miss Lyra for all of two seconds before she quickly averted her gaze down to her desk. Her very first memory? She tried to think back - what was it she remembered the most...? How old was she...?
The first thing she remembered was screaming. Immediately her heart sank in her chest as the brief bits of it replayed through her mind. She really didn't want to write about this at all...
I don't want to write my first memory down. I know that I will probably not receive a passing grade but my first memory is not a good one and I don't want to share it.
She wrote carefully on her paper, resisting the slight sting of oncoming tears in her eyes. She hadn't thought about that in a long time...
I'm really sorry that I can't complete this assignment, Miss Lyra. I really like your class most of the time. I understand if you're disappointed.
She sighed, then set her pencil aside, fully prepared to fail her assignment if she had to... But she really didn't want to recount that particular memory. The more it replayed, the more in focus it became - she didn't remember their names but she knew they were her "family." Screaming at the sight of her face.

Prompt Answer: Conan stared at his assignment forever. If he could be any race, who would he be? That was definitely a hard question.
What race would I be if I could choose? There are really pros and cons with all of the races, both Above and Below. However, after what feels like ages of debating in my head I've come up with an answer; Fey. What I like most about they Fey is their love for dancing. It's so integral to their culture that it's built into everything. It would be fun to have a reason to dance every single day besides practice for shows.
It would be nice to be a part of a race that believes love is what create peace in the world. They're very laid back and generous. There's also the fact that they're a Race from a totally different place. From a perspective of being a Nightmare and becoming a Daydream it would be very interesting to live in a new world with new experiences. I'm not sure I'd be totally fond of the Fey's very pacifist view however. I don't support violence by any means, but sometimes when someone wants to harm you, you need to fight back.
