Midnightglow18 Cybelle frowned thinking about the beach trip, he didn't like it one bit, he didn't like the sand on his skin, he didn't like the sun to bright. He didn't like the winds throwing sand in his face. Yup Cybelle was an in the shop working on a carriage kind of chimera. He still needs to say one thing he liked about the beach (even if it was just that he didn't have to do anything all day!).

T'kani happily scribbled down the time and place for the stargazing outing, trying to contain the excited wiggling of her tail. Aside from being her favorite class, the events this teacher seemed to come up with were always fascinating. Much more interesting than the text reading and exams the previous one did.
=======
Staying towards the back of the group, she followed along as they headed to a darker area of the campus, looking around as the lights dimmed slightly. The dim light wasn't a problem for her, and even made the skies just a little bit brighter. Once they had arrived at designated place, she set up the telescope in a suitable spot and followed along with the teacher as they pointed out things of interest.
She did her best to avoid having to answer questions, which was fairly easy when she had her eyes glued to the telescope. The teacher didn't seem to know much sign language, but they were cute and she didn't mind being the usual quiet type in the back of the class anyway, so it all worked out as far as the imp was concerned.
After about an hour they packed up and headed back to the Academy, where T'kani quickly returned the telescope and dashed back to her dorm, doodling the various galaxies and constellations she'd seen that night before she went to bed.

 Gwen didn't know what was wrong with her today, she just couldn't get it together, she had to pass this test, or she would question her goal of being a scientist. This was her thing!! Science!!

(Oh thank you Geyser I thought it was only 3 rolls, not first roll and 3 rerolls xd sacrifices Pidgie since she said I could razz )(Wow the dice don't like me today oh well >.< poor Gwen) Gwen was so nervous, she found out she had one last chance to pass the test, once last chance not to be totally discouraged about her future studying science... Gwen failed again, this test was impossible. She sighed and left the classroom to go think about what she wanted to do with her life, if she couldn't pass a simple science test how could she do anything else in science.

Gwen may try again (again, up to four rolls) on March 20th. In the meantime, you may enter another junior if you have one.

 Alyssum tried to think about what she liked about the beach. The presence of all that water had kind of freaked her out just a little bit. There was just something very different about an ocean of water compared to the oceans of sand she was used to seeing at home. In addition the sun had been super hot with all her fur, though she at least seemed to have escaped without burns, unlike a few of her other classmates. In the end she was finally able to settle on a few things. 'I liked the pretty shells and rocks you could find on the ground. I also liked how people seemed to have lots of fun and enjoyed themselves.' Not everyone, of course, but most of her class had been beside themselves in excitement during the trip. Rowan hardly needed to think to write their assignment. 'I liked being able to get to swim,' they wrote, still looking back fondly on the memories. There were bathtubs and pools here, but it wasn't really the same as a good dip in the ocean. Not all of his classmates had felt comfortable going into the water, so it had been peaceful with lots of room to frolic, even if he did have to stay close to the surface so the teacher wouldn't worry about him.

 Quartz was still in daydream mode about the trip, and had to pull her thoughts together before she could get her homework done. 'I really liked how pretty it was,' she wrote. 'There were lots of cool things to draw!' She included a picture of a seashell she had picked up at the bottom of her homework. Vincent debated for a bit. He couldn't really pick a favorite, so he just decided to write about a little bit of everything. 'I had a super good time. I like getting to go on a trip with everyone. It was my first time seeing the ocean, and that was really cool! I liked how the air smelled, and how the sand felt, and all the things there were to see.' Just in case the teacher really wanted Vincent to pick a favorite though, he added a bit more to his paper. 'I guess my favorite thing was the nice shells I found, because I'm bringing them home to give to my mom as a present. I know she'll like them, because she really likes pretty things.'

 Laurel looked down at her graded midterm with a bit of disappointment. She'd been suffering through a cold and had neglected to study properly, thinking she would probably do fine. This was what she got for letting herself get lax! At least she would be able to retake the test.

 Laurel was far more pleased with her second score. She would have liked to score higher, yes, but considering the rush job she'd done with her studies she was perfectly pleased to get an A. She resolved to do better next time, and not neglect her studies!

 Samara looked at the results of her test and sighed. Yet another subject she apparently wasn't really good at. She did kinda sorta like science, or parts of it at least, but apparently those parts weren't the ones needed to pass. She resigned herself to another repeat test.
