She pawed at his face as he nipped her a bit, she smiled to warmly it was good to feel wanted again. She padded up next to him as he was going on a walk in the very earling morning. She was used to being this early up and running, she butted him with her shoulder blade "Did you want me to do anything for you?" she asked happy to help.

"Keep me company?" He glanced around, Hyena's liked to sneek onto the land early and hunt hoping Kings would still be sleeping. Benoni liked being up at this hour, he planed on waking his mate at this hour to take a stroll just the pair of them. Glaning at Kila he smiled. This was lovely to be strolling along with someone besides Niobe. His thoughts wondered to Ayana, and then back to Kila...he was torn. He felt strong emotions with Kila, very strong. Ayana was sweet, and caring...and he held emotions for her as well. He feared losing them both. Shaking his head, he turned and gazed at Kila, maybe he needed to think on his own...

"I will," she replied but as she watched his eyes told a different story, "but only if you want me to." Her ears perked towards him and her eyes watched him softly. Her head tilted to the side gave her a curious yet a bit of a comical look however her eyes were more serious.

He'd been lost in his own thoughts, shaking his head he glanced at her. "What? Oh yes.." He nodded his head and waiting for her to join his side he stood in place, his head held high as he swayed his tail out behind him. He'd have to make a choice, maybe he'd already made it, He closed his eyes as his head dropped a little bit. He didnt want to lose Ayana..she reminded him of...his mother. His ears perked forward as he lifted his head, thats what it was..He grinned. He couldnt wait to get back to her and talk to her about this. True, his mother had betrayed Niobe but she'd been good to Benoni....

Ayana, still in the back of the cave, was also, deep in thought. She sighed and stood, walking to the mouth of the cave, cringing in what seemed to be some sort of painful memory, almost collapsing, but exited anyways. Sighing, she walked down from the cave enterance, her face expressionless, but inside, she was hurt. She knew what would help... but... She looked over her shoulder and sighed. She needed to go find Ashura, they needed to talk. But first, she needed to find Benoni. She turned on her hind leg and walked through the pride with a fake giddy smile on. She usually had a fake expression planted on her face. She was used to hiding her hidden emotions, much like... She sighed and thought of Ashura once more, eyes down at the ground.

"Alright," she replied. She looked to him trying to read his thoughts but as for now she wasn't having the best of luck. She made her way back to his side brushing against him as she did. When his head dropped she knew something was bothering him, "Whats the matter?" she asked rather straight forwardly but thats just how she was at times.

He licked her cheek and purred. "Nothing. Lets go back to the pride. I've decided to ask someone something rather important." It was all he said, he could deal with intruders later. He turned, and shook his head, he was dragging poor Kila all over the place, with a grin he glanced at her. "I'll race you.." He turned his head, as he leaped off , landing back against the earth in a running motion.

Ayana lifted her muzzle to the air, sniffing. 'Benoni... where /are/ you....?' She growled and caught his sent, bolting back to where she fist started. Her eyes narrowed, her green eyes flicking.

His ears flickered as he caught the sound of his name, He skidded to a hault once he spotted Ayana. His mane moved ever so softly around his face, he nuzzled her cheek softly. "Ayana, just the beauty I was looking for. " He noted though, something was bothering her, she was hiding something....He stepped back, he felt betrayed, once more. His ears perked forward, his eyes watched her closely. What was his Anaya hiding...why did she feel the need to hide it from him?

Angel walked near the cave. She had showed up here yesterday and so far no one had chased her off. She was very hungry and had not eaten in days. She wondered if this pride would share their food with her. They seemed nice enough so far. She wondered if they even knew she was here. Angel layed down as her stomic screamed for food. She closed her eyes and slept dreaming of candy.

"Benoni I..." She stepped foreward, hesitant, but immediatly stepped back as he did. Her head turned to the side, her eyes gazing at the far off mountains, "Benoni..." She sighed and closed her eyes, lowering her head to the ground, "Benoni, I want to tell you, but..." She looked up at him, her eyes filled with an unsure sorrow, "But I am not sure of what it is myself" She turned and walked off, "I need to go to Red Rain. I will be back soon, I hope. If you wish to follow it would be fine with me" She padded into the forest to find the familiar river where the two met, and follow it back to her old pride, not looking over her shoulder. If all went well, she would be back as soon as she could.

He stood there, staring at her. But before he could say anything, she was gone. His heart hung heavy in his chest, she didnt feel as if she could let him know her burrden. He glanced back towards Kila, he would miss her dearly. But he must find out what Ayana was hiding from him, he lifted his muzzle, and let out a roar. It echoed cross the land, he was leaving the pride. He hoped this would bring Niobe back as well.
He didnt waste time as he raced after her fading form, his over-sized paws carried him gracefully over the land as he masked his emotions with a blank expression.

"Remember this place Benoni?"
The female lioness's figure was seated by the river where the two had first met, her eyes somewhat blank. She was waiting for him, knowing, for some reason or another, that he would come.
"Benoni..." She looked into the water, her reflection broked in the running water, "I would tell you, but I do not know what to say. When I was young, all memory of mine was lost after I met Ashura, but now.." She sighed, " I am... starting to remember my past, and it is not a good one, I'm not evn sure what it is. But, I know my brothers know, that is why I need to speak with them..."
