He really didnt like comming to the 'shop'. He was not a pet and he was not something that could be bought and sold. No matter what had transpired. No. He was Rufus ShinRa and he ran a successful company and that was that. But of course Reno had wanted to explore and said that Rufus should take a look since having someone here could be useful, and of course he had agreed to come look, lords knows why.
His lips curled into a smirk as he though about why. He did know why and Reno would make it up to him later back at the office.
"That's the last room Boss." Reno leaned against the wall beisde the door as Rufus and Rude walked down the hallway. He'd been waiting with Tseng for Rufus to show up. "And i've been a good boy so far so you cant b***h."
Tseng shook his head. "You, Reno, and never a 'good boy'" He set his hand on the doorknob and slid the door to the room open. "So i doubt, even under my eye, you have been good." And he could tell. He'd noticed the looks Reno'd been giving him all day and none of thoes could be considered good.

Nallin giggled and reached across to give Kayin's ear a playfful cuff.
"You goofball. How the hell do you think up half that stuff?"
For a momet, she contemplated tickling him, then decided against it. That sort of thing could be saved for later when she was feeling bored.

Kayin gave a chipper smile to Nallin and replied simply. "I have NO idea."
His ears twitched happily, then perked. "Door knob..." he sniffed the air. "PEOPLE!" He pointed abruptly at the door and got himself to his knees.

Rufus sighed as he head a voice from within the room. Great. Just what he needed. "Cant we just skip this room?" For once he showed his still young side and almost whinned. He did not want to deal with people. Reno was enough for today since he was being rather more friendly than usual. All he wanted to do was go home and have a nice soak in a hot bath and relax with his Turks.
He shoved the doork open, taking the knob from Tseng's paw in the process, and looked inside. "People? Hell nah, We ain't just people."
"Reno!" Tseng snapped. "Grammer."
He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Hell no. We arent just people."

Nallin dropped Kayin's tail and rolled to her feet, instinctively movign between him and the unknowns who's just come in. Narrowing her pink eyes and dropping all playfulness for a complete icicle attitude, she replied back in a sickeningly sweet voice that managed to be neutral and insulting at the same time.
"You're right, carrottop," she replied. "You aren't just people. You're actually the rude jackasses who don't bother knocking when they come into a room."
She continued to watch the strangers with the same look one would give a slightly interestign variety of beetle.

Kayin, unlike Nallin, was more of an up close and personal person. He stood up and walked to Tseng. "You have a sniper target on your head, you should move."

Reno looked at the bright red bangs hanging infront of his eyes. "Wow. Someone didnt teach you the colors right. Last time i checked carrots were orange. This s**t aint orange." He flicked his hair and grinned at her. "Pinky"
With a quick snap the muzzle of Tseng's gun was pressed to Kayin's forehead. He was rather tired of thoes jokes. "No. I rather think you're the one who should move."
Rufus just smirked as he leaned back against the solid presence of Rude behind him. His poor Turks.

Crossing her arms against her chest, Nallin heaved a sigh and shook her head sadly.
"Now who wasn't taught properly? You obviously missed the lesson that said Pinky is a stupid albino mouse. Whereas I am no mouse, but someone who will happily rip your arms from their sockets and use them to beat you and Mr Trigger Happy there to death if he doesn't leave Kayin alone right now."
Still maintainign her casual pose, she assessed each of the strangers. In a fight, there was no doubt they'd win. They had numbers and firearms on their side whereas she had.. a gimpy ankle. Still, she might not be in top fighting form anymore, but she wasn't stupid and her former boss had taught her a lot before he'd died.

Kayin quirked an eyebrow. Drowning out the arguement around him. "You sure know how to dissapoint a person. For such a big guy I was expecting a much bigger gun. This one is kinda dinky. You should look into getting maybe a shotgun or even a magnum would suit you better." He poked that the gun a bit and looked at the red-head. "Don't you think this is a bit small?" Then looking back at Nallin. "What do you think? Small?"

His brow lifted as he carefully put the gun away inside his jacket. "I do not need a shotgun to deal with things as small as you." Plus there was no reason for someone such as him self to carry anything larger than he did. He needed things that would not get in his way if he was forced into hand-to-hand. "Small size does not nessissarly mean low power."
Reno had opened his mouth to respond to Nallin but after hearing Kayin's words he started laughing. "Small .... oh man ... that's a good one." He doubled over as he laughed. "Maybe we should get Tseng something more Rude's size eh?"

Nallin relaxed slightly. Guns were beign put away and the one was laughing. But that didn't mean this was over yet. Silently wishing that Kayin hadn't bounded forward, she considered her options.
She could always take the easy way out and go dive out a window or something, but leaving Kayin alone to deal with these goons didn't feel right. Nor could she move closer to Kayin and drag him back.. that would likely set the goon patrol off. So... what...?
With a small sigh, she massaged the bridge of her muzzle and muttered under her breath, "Why me...? The day was going so nicely... "

Kayin padded his way about the room, moving closer to Nallin. "Okaaaaay, whatever you say. But that is still a small gun, I still say a magnum would suit you better." He plopped on the ground and wiggled his tail, urging Nallin to move towards him. "Guns are kinda dinky anyways..."

Before Tseng could actually get trigger happy and Reno could say something horribly illicit he stepped forward. "Reno. Zip whatever you are about to say behind your lips and Tseng. Do not shoot them." He rubbed his temples. "Neither of them is a threat at the moment. One just happenes to not know when to shut up, much like you." His eyes landed on Reno as he spoke the last words

Nallin stepped over to where Kayin sat and rested her paw protectvely atop his hair. She studied the white clad audio carefully, notign how the others seemd to defer to him. If he was orderign the others to not kill she and Kayin, she was personally all for that. She growled warningly down at Kayin, hoping to forestall whatever he might say.
"Kayin, just try to be quiet right now, please. I couldn't beat them in a fight and neither could you. Trust me... they might even be better than I ever was," she murmured softly, pitching her voice so hopefully only Kayin woudl hear.

Kayin pinned his ears back and looked up at Nallin. "They're not gunna do anything unless the guy in white says so, he's the brains. The one with the dot on his head, he's the lapdog, the red haired one likes my attitude so far, I don't think he'd try anything. The gun the big guy has is fully loaded but the rounds arn't that bad, though he could probably shoot you from way across the room even though it's more of a short range one. The guy in white doesn't look like he'd get his hands dirty, and the red haired one doesn't have any guns on him. We should be okay." Kayin said this under his breath, as low and soft as he could so only Nallin would hear.
The room was in silence for a minute while this went on, but it looked as though Kayin was just muttering to himself that everything would be alright, rather than giving a detailed report. His ears sprung back up and he gave everyone a bright smile. "Black Jack anyone?!"
