Kaleb nodded at Luxord's words. "I-I promise, I'm not going to die of a heart attack." The scrawny mage smiled lopsidedly, hoping his reassurance would wipe that terrified look off of Demyx's face.

Demyx looked worried for a moment longer, before breaking into a huge grin.
"Kay!!"
Fears of death gone, the sitarist latched onto Luxord happily.
"But tackling people is fun....I don't wanna hurt em though, that'd be bad..."

"As long as you dont tackle people who arent expecting it then it should be alright." He nodded. Tackling new people could end up getting the smaller one in trouble.

Kaleb blinked at the abrupt mood change, the mage wondering how Demyx could swing from one end of the emotional spectrum to the next so fast without getting dizzy and falling over. He quickly returned the blonde's grin with one of his own.

"I'll remember that! Or...erm..try to."
Demyx considered making himself some notecards to remember all this but quickly dismissed the thought. He didn't have paper and pencil on him anyway.
"So, where were you going?"
Bright green eyes turned to Kaleb, their owner wagging his tail as he waited for a response.

His eyes turned to Kaleb again as Demyx spoke to him. The new little one was intresting, and cute, so he figured he could watch for the moment.

Kaleb's smile faltered for just a second upon remembering why he had been out in the first place, but he quickly reasoned that he could afford to stop and talk for a bit. "I-I was on my way to the bookstore, I wanted to get a new magic textbook." He wisely avoided mentioning the subject matter he was interested in researching, it probably would have confused the child-like audio.

Demyx's grin only seemed to widen.
"Can you pull a rabbit out of a hat? OR OR OR! Better yet! A cookie?"
The question was innocent enough. Despite being around magic all the time, Demyx was fixated on the more childish forms of it...and of course sweets.

He opened his mouth to say that Demyx did 'magic' himself all the time but closed his mouth without speaking. It wouldnt have done any good.
"Then i take it you are a ....mage? Yes?"

Kaleb nodded at Demyx, and he just had to smile at the other's eagerness. "Sorry, I haven't figured out how to pull cookies out of a hat yet."
At Luxord's question, he nodded again. "Y-yeah, I'm a medic mage, or a healer."

Demyx remained attatched to Luxord, grinning at the other.
"You're a healer? That's really nifty...and...heeeeey wait..."
Green eyes tilted upwards, blinking up at the older blonde.
"Daddy...can I do magic too?..."

"A healer eh?" His ears flicked slightly. "Useful tallent." He nodded and then looked down at Demyx.
"Yes. You're water clones are Magic....just like my card and dice tricks are"

Daddy? Kaleb didn't know what to make of that. "Demyx, I think it might just be easier to bake cookies." He said, thinking maybe he should introduce the kid to one of his friends, who baked delicious cookies.
His ears perked a bit. "Y-you two can do magic too?" He asked, in a tone that was somehow both hesitant and eager.

"Mmrph...I'm no good at baking..."
The little one flattened his ears a bit, but immediately perked back up at the mention of his clones and such being magic.
"Yeah!! I can manipulate water!"
Demyx quickly summoned up a water bubble, holding out the paw which it hovered over to show Kaleb.
"Nifty, huh?"

"He can do that and i...." He flicked his fingers and the water bubble turned into a simple black and white die. "Can turn objects into either die or cards."
