Kaleb nodded once, clenching his jaw again to keep from whimpering. One of his ears twitched a bit, but even though he wanted to curl up in a ball and try and hide from the pain, that was the only movement he allowed himself. If only he could heal himself there wouldn't be a problem, but his magic would probably be off-limits until his body recovered at least a little.

He finished up as quickly as he could without hurting Kaleb more and set the kit aside. "Okay .. done, no more of that." He really didn't like having to hurt his partner even if was for the best.

Slowly Demyx returned to the room, head hanging slightly.
"S-sorry Kaleb..."
Honestly, it was all that he could think of to say. There wasn't much else he could do for the mage until he started to feel better, and he had even failed at cleaning the floor up for his friend.

Kaleb was able to relax once Riley stopped tending to him. Even though he still hurt all over, it was a relief when the real bad stuff went away.
"Th-thanks," he said to both his friends once he could manage it. He closed his eyes and tried to rest a bit, the pain was exhausting and he wanted nothing more than to curl up in bed and sleep it off. After a second, he opened his eyes again. "Demyx, h-how long will it hurt?"

If only he had his cure materia or ... or his painkillers. Those would knock Kaleb out and he wouldn't be able to really hurt. That was an idea. But they were all the way at home and it wouldn't be good to make Kaleb sleep on the floor.
"Demyx .... is there any way that we can move him to my place? Or .... or do you want to move?" He looked at his partner. If Kaleb hurt too much to move then he wouldn't even bother.

"F-for a while....I can't c-close up your wounds like you did for me though..."
Demyx walked a bit closer, looking to the other two sadly.
"When it happened to me...Luxord moved me back home by the portals... I could make one right under K-kaleb so we wouldn't have to pick him up..."

Kaleb nodded weakly. "I-I d-don't like lying here..." he said, one ear twitching again. The floor wasn't comfortable, it was too flat and too hard. As much as he disliked being on the floor, he was also afraid of them moving him, because he suspected it would hurt much more than the bandages had. Unless Demyx's portal idea worked.
"Demyx, i-it's okay, I-I'm just glad you're here," the mage said timidly, trying to comfort his friend. He sounded awfully miserable.

"Well ... is .. how ... can ya get him ta my place without knowin where it is?" He figured that anyone who used portals would have to have a way to know where they were going.

Kaleb's words at least brought a small smile to Demyx's face. The mage knew he was trying, that helped...
"Well that's the problem...I'd need to know where it was, or what it was near, or...something. The only reason I got in with you guys earlier was because I was teleporting to Kaleb."

That was still a trick Kaleb hadn't figured out, how to target people rather than specific places. "Riley, m-maybe you could go back, a-and... and Demyx can meet you there?" He didn't like the thought of being left alone again, even briefly while Demyx teleported to the apartment, and he knew Riley wouldn't like leaving him in the first place, but sometimes people had to do things they didn't like in situations like this.

"Leave?!?" He didn't like that idea. If he left then the whatever could come back or something could happen to Kaleb while he was gone.
"There's no other way? I mean like ... any of your friends know how to do it differently? Like that Luxord person?"

"I.....I don't really know. I haven't thought about it or asked them...."
Well if anyone would know, Luxord should...
"I could go ask, if you don't mind waiting a few minutes..."
He didn't exactly like the idea of leaving Kaleb either, but if Luxord knew a way to teleport directly there it'd be a lot faster than getting Riley to go over first.

Kaleb winced at Riley's tone, but if Luxord knew a more direct way to portal, it would mean he could get off the floor faster. Sure, he would be lying somewhere else, maybe on a different floor, but anything would be better than this. Besides, if Luxord didn't know any way, the only thing he would stand to lose would be a couple minutes.
"I-I don't mind," he said weakly, wishing he could shift positions to get more comfortable.

"Yea .. yea ... ask." He didn't like the idea of leaving Kaleb on the floor longer but that was better than him having to drive to his place and then wait for Demyx to figure out where he was.

"A-alright...just erm...wait, I'll be back as quick as possible..."
Fidgeting a moment more, Demyx gave them a final glance before opening a portal and stepping through it. The portal would open up to wherever the gambler was, and after stepping through the other side the young sitarist looked around.
"L-luxord? You here???"
