Well my idea for the weapon was that it was what killed the Arch's creators and it was broken and dispersed between the Three Worlds, the Creators and the people who used the weapon came from a Fourth World which wont be explored as of yet...
Now as for what they can do now... Well wipe out entire worlds of course, or subjugate them to an evil will!

I understood that part. It was the part where, they either find it or the archways tie into it. Either way I kinda get it, but ehh.
