Flashcharge was focusing on Raleigh and therefore didn't pay much attention to the light touch of Rachel on his cheek. He merely smiled and patted her head again before focusing on Raleigh again. Very interesting. The boy was reshaping what he had created earlier. Which appeared to be quite hard.

"Very nice, Raleigh! Very nice indeed." He smirked as the dog attacked and moved to dodge, but was suddenly overcome with fatigue. His eyes widened as he looked down at the girl. Damn, had he underestimated her or what.

He jumped and flipped backwards, using both his hands to push him off in the air. Concentrating a weak blast, he fired it at the dog, but he made sure not to hurt it in any way. He landed while ending his jump in a crouch and pushed off again, dodging the dog to the right, he pushed off with his right hand and fired another weak blast at the dog with his left hand. He flipped and turned in mid-air and finally ended up behind the dog in yet another crouch, panting for air. Wow, he had most definitly underestimated the kid. He felt as if he had just fought an intense battle with Novara or something. Gritting his teeth, he made sure to keep an eye on the boy behind him as well as the dog in front of him. "Kid, notice how I could have destroyed the dog in at least two instances? Make sure that when you use one of these creatures to attack, you have another one on standby, or take advantage and attack by yourself." His breathing was uneven. Man, had the kid held on a little longer, he have been taken out by these kids. Ohhh, the embarassement.

[Yeah I figured he'd get dizzy too it is after all the first time using it.]

Erol was what one would call out of commission right now, the last release of energy had him all disoriented. He shook his head keeping his attention on Dareborn; a light smirk etched his lips, at least the blast worked. But right now he wasn't worried about her, "Where the devil is she?" He looked around for Lorina. He couldn't attack now, she was no where in sight and he had already maxed out his options; hopefully he made an opening for her to slip in unnoticed. He wasn't sure of the long term effects that last blast would have but if he was still feeling it maybe Dareborn was.

The only difference being she could probably take more then him. He still had to fight it and keep up his guard. He stood on wobbly feet swaying slightly as the room spun slowly around him. Holding up his hands in fashion of hand-to-hand he'd never been trained here so had no idea of the first thing to do. Still better prepared...right? He wobbled again.

The child was behind her?? Darebone's eyes widened in shock as she spun around, just in time to see the large fist heading to her. Clenching her teeth and summoning up her strength, she braced herself and held out both her arms to block the punch.

There was a momentarily pause as strength from both parties was exchanged, but Darebone quickly jumped backwards and dodged the resulting swing. She looked up at the girl in awe, impressed with the way she used her teammate for a distraction before moving in.

"That is excellent work, Lorina! Absolutely excellent!" She was smiling brightly as she slowly walked backwards, creating more distance between the two of them.

Why the hell did Megan get so upset all the time? This was the main question on Malcolm's mind right now. She really needed to grow up and get over it. Just deal with it already, I don't want to do this either, he thought to himself.
Taking his mind off the girl, Malcolm turned back to Andy, who seemed to have an idea to help him. It sounded like it would work, except for the fact that he didn't know how he could control Dion, or anything else for that matter. The whole concept was just...frustrating.
"Yeah, all right. I'll try to explain it to her," was his reply. He strided over to where Megan was throwing her tantrum and told her what Andy had just suggested. "...so if you want to go home so bad, just go along with it. Let's try and make it fun, 'kay?"
He glanced up at Dion, who was happily buzzing around. Now came the difficult part, trying to explain the damn thing. First he would let Megan cool down, though, before he got into anything.

Megan had winced away and tensed for the worst when Photon came near her. It took several moments for her to realize that Photon was trying to comfort her. When she did, she just barely peeked up at him. She didn't like the cartoon voice. It was fake, just like he and this whole thing was, and she put her head back down again, but she wasn't nearly as tense.

She did respond when Malcolm came up, pulling herslf to a sitting position, but still allowing her hair to fall all over her face. She glanced momentarily at the super in hesitation, then back at Malcolm, "You really control insects? That's cool. D'they talk t'you?" she didn't feel nearly as threatened with powers like insect control, and Photon's powers were almost always fun, but each time she heard a large blast from the other side of the room, she winced.

Malcolm shrugged, "Depends. It's more of a buzzing than anything, but I can interpret it. And control.....doesn't happen all the time." He though of the instances in which he had controlled the insects. One - when his parents were killed, and two - through Dion. That was about it. He tried to think of ways to explain his power to Megan, to make her understand.
Here went try number one, "Okay. So. I think I can only control insects when I'm really angry or excited, at least those are the only times I actually could do it. I need to learn how to be able to do it 24/7...which is my problem. Plus the fact that it's all sealed off 'n here and they wouldn't be able to get in." After he finished this statement, he realized that there was actually one other thing he could use - Dion! Malcolm had totally forgotten about him for the moment; he could make the bee attack. Exxxcelllent. ((Haha...Simpsons reference whee ))

Rachel sat up and smiled widely as she saw how Flashcharge was totally getting his a** kicked by Yasuo. "Hehe." She stood up, feeling very happy and wanting to bounce up and down. But she held back, she had to be a big girl. She didn't want to look stupid in front of Raleigh. Instead, she decided to cheer him on. "Go Yasuo! Go Raleigh!" She laughed out loud, feeling very happy.

She watched in awe as Yasuo did all this really cool stuff. And watched in even greater awe at Raleigh, since he was controlling Yasue and telling him what to do.

Rachel's gaze wandered over to the other battles. That Andy didn't seem to be doing anything, but just talking to those two kids. Her gaze flicked to the other side, to where Susan was with... Erol? And that other girl, Lorina. That looked pretty cool also.

Her gaze wandered back to the stands and she waved excitedly at her guardian as she jumped up and down to attract her attention. Yep. Rachel was feeling very good right now.

Darebone smiled widely at the two children. "Well, I can say you two have done some excellent work. Absolutely excellent!" she smiled as she watched Erol wobble about. "However, I assume you are too tired to continue using your shockwaves?"

She was still smiling. "If you're not too tired, then I suggest you two will try to take me on using just hand to hand combat. Otherwise, Erol should rest for a few minutes, when Lorina can try to take me on one more time using her size shifting."

She grinned and winked at the both of them.
