The tiny p***k was healed up in a matter of minutes. Lilly had started going through the roses picking out any that had received too much damage in her ill fated fall. She tried to the fact that she was looking up and catching glances of him from beneath her hair.

Dain had picked up most of the roses and was now trying to find all of the stray petals.

"Broom's in the closet." Lilly muttered while trying to rearrange a vase of Red and White roses.

Dain smiled at her. "Thanks." He went and grabbed the broom and started sweeping up all of the petals.

Lilly felt her heart start racing at his smile. She needed to get out of there before she said something stupid. She looked around and realized just how much more work she had left and wanted to cry.

Dain looked at her and frowned. "Hey, it's okay. I'm going to help. We'll get everything done in time."

"Yeah..." Lilly took a deep breath before heading back to work.

Dain finished sweeping then put the broom away. He walked over to Lilly and stood next to her. "What do you want me to do now?"

Lilly jumped slightly. She'd been a little to into her work to notice him. She grabbed her chest and started taking deep breaths before finally calming down. "I need you to trim the bottom of all those lillies. But they have to be at an angle like so." She showed him one of her lillies.

Dain tried not to laugh. "Sorry I scared you." He nodded as she gave him his instructions. "Okay." He quickly went to work on the lillies.

It was almost two hours before they had finished with all the orders. Lilly sighed and wiped her forehead. "Just one more thing..." She picked out two extra lillies and tied a simple black ribbon around them. "You can leave now, I'm just gonna close up and walk home."

"I have to make a stop on the way to Grans." Lilly was busy bustling about closing everything down.
