Marius shook his head. "Neither have I."

Dain let out a sigh as they neared the cemetery. He pulled into the parking lot and shut off the car. "Would you like me to just wait here?"

Jeff held Yakov close to him. "Thank you for a great day."

Lilly nodded, unable to speak because of the tears in her eyes and the lump in her throat. She climbed out of the car and ran far into the cemetery.

Ally pulled Marius's arm around himself. "So, what was this male bonding Katrina was speaking of?"

Dain sighed again and rested his head on the steering wheel.

Jeff stared at Yakov. "I don't know where I would be without you."

Lilly stopped in front of her parents headstone. It was just an average looking headstone for average looking people. Except for the elegant cougar etched into the front over their names.
She knelt down and placed the lilies in front of the headstone. "Hey Mom, Dad. Just dropped by to say hi like I promised. I brought you your favorite flowers, heh, I guess thats how I got my name huh?" Lilly wiped a tear off her cheek.
"That were, Dain, the one I told you about last fall, well he's here too, only just in the car. Yeah he came in and helped me close up shop, not that I was a great host or anything. But yeah I can't stay long, he offered me a ride and I'm not going to make him wait out there too long. I love you guys and I'll be back real soon to have a long conversation."
She stood up and kissed the top of the headstone before wrapping her arms around herself and turning around. She was not going to cry in front of Dain, she was not. She waited a second or two to gather herself before heading off back to the car.

Dain kept going over his to do list so he wouldn't think of other things. Every time he finished he sighed. He was trying to keep himself from slamming his head into the steering wheel.

Lilly climbed into the car and looked over at Dain. "um...you ok?" She asked meekly.

Dain sat up quickly and smiled. "Yeah! I'm fine. I'm just tired. I didn't get much sleep last night." He turned the car on. "So, to Cala's?"

Dain drove out of the cemetery and to Cala's. He pulled into the driveway and parked. "Umm, just call me if you ever need anything. I'm usually never busy. Let me know when you want to go on a run. I know I could probably use one." He smiled at Lilly. "Have a good night. Oh, tell Cala I said hi."

Lilly was a little taken aback by all that information at once. "Uh..." Then she was distracted by the smiling face peeking in through Dains side window. "You can tell her yourself..." Lilly almost whispered.
Cala knocked on the glass and waved cheerily and made the universal roll down the windows sign.

"Well hello there sugar, I was just inside baking up a mighty find dinner and I'd like thank you for your wonderful hospitality of driving my grandbaby home by invitin' you in for some supper!" Cala was all smiles at the sight of those two in the car.

Lilly climbed out of the car and looked at her grandmother. "Honey, why don't you go set the table." Lilly nodded and ran off into the house. "Now come now, let's get you washed up for dinner." Cala grinned.
