Okay so here's how it works. Starting on Friday, October 20 at 8:00 pm MST I will host a Bump contest. The object is to have the most bumps in a 24-hour period. Therefor, the contest will end on Saturday, October 21 at 8:00 pm MST.
There will be an entry fee of 100 gold that must be sent via trade to me no less than 30 minutes before the contest begins. Any trade requests sent after 7:30 pm MST will be declined. Any bump made without satisfying the entry fee will be disqualifed.
The Contest will begin promptly at 8:00 pm MST on Friday, October 20. Any post made before then will not be tallied. Please be sure to number your posts for me. Any posts made that are not sequentially numbered will not be counted. The Contest will end precisely at 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 21. Any post made after then will not be tallied. I will then begin winner verification to determine that no cheating has taken place. This may take some time. I promise I will take no longer than 24 hours to verify the results. As soon as I have tallied the posts, I will award the prizes to the appropriate individuals.
There will be 3 prizes. First prize will be a October 2006 Thank You Letter. Second prize will be 500 gold. Third prize will be your entry fee of 100 gold.
Prize addendum: Anyone who completes 250 posts within the time limit will receive a bonus Thank You Letter!
Prize addendum: Anyone who completes 500 posts within the time limit will receive an additional bonus Thank You Letter!
Prize addendum: Anyone who completes 1000 posts within the time limit will receive an additional bonus Thank You Letter!
Cheating will not be tolerated. I will be very thorough in my verification. Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified, black-listed from any further contest or event hosted by me, and recommended for expulsion from the guild. DO NOT CHEAT.
