Cala was doing the dishes when Lilly entered the kitchen, ignoring Dain's comment. "Gran we're going for a run...oh do you want help with that? I'm sorry for just taking off..."
"No no, honey, you two go have fun. I'm just going to finish this up and head to bed. That book I just got is getting to the really good stuff, all juicy and detailed, reminds me of your grandfather." Cala grinned as her mind wandered.
"Gran I did not need to know that..." Lilly kissed her cheek and waved. "Bye Gran."

Yakov smiled at Jeff. "Well, that moment got kind of ruined."

Cala grinned mischievously to herself and chuckled as they left the house.
Lilly walked out to the car and climbed in.

Miki jumped as the phone buzzed in her pocket. She looked at the number and her heart skipped a beat, or it would have if it was human. She flipped open Katrinas phone. "Ello?"
