A potion would appear at the boy's feet.
"Before we get started, first thing first ....you need to have your pokemon drink that potion. Otherwise, well ...you might not get the second chance promised, and I don't like the idea of being blame for forgetting to do this part."
The voice declares even as a reddish light hit the ground, and the pokemon would step out of the darkness. His rear end twitching a bit as he smiles lightly.
"Audinoooooo."

"Oh for the love of gravy."
The voice would declare loudly .....as it would seem that this one was the type to easily get frustrated with a certain type.
"Are you a pretty boy? Oh, heck, I shouldn't even ask that question I know the answer ....pretty boy. I wonder what I can do to get you switch for someone that I won't have to worry about some ....raving lunatic of a girl jumping me for ...messing up your face."
The disconnected voice would declare as it gave a lazy slur of the voice.
"Alright, the next thing ...or at least, the part I am suppose to do. First off, you know why you are here? You are here to fight for your right to be a student here ...literally. My job is make sure you fail, so, or jobs conflict a bit.
Next....you have a choice ...you either do this the hard way, without me telling you anything, or try for the easier way with some aid. Either way doesn't matter a bit to me at all."
"But, you get a choice ...it's required."
The voice declares with a huff.
"A waste of time ...hurry up and choose."

The sudden voice gave the young Furusu male a start, but he settled quickly when he realized the room must have some hidden camera or two way glass the person was watching him from. Speakers had to be wired around as well to get the resonation right in the room. Whether it was a ploy to toy with new people or just to keep themselves out of the danger zone was up in the air though. Ai listened as he was 'insulted' by being called a pretty boy. He already knew he had a face girls liked, and it was one of his selling points. He took it more as a compliment than an insult as he assumed the voice was hoping he would.
He wouldn't say he was confident about not getting his face dirty or scratched in a match, but it could easily be fixed with the correct makeup application so he worried little about it. His brow furrowed at being told the person was going to try and make up fail at what he had come there to do. The choices he was given were simple, and as a new and upcoming trainer with no experience, he wanted all the assistance he could get in order to get ahead.
"Teach me everything you have at your disposal. I did not come here to fail because of my confidence."
"I am in shock ...you are.. are more than just a pretty face."
The voice would declare sounding a bit more agreeable for the moment.
"So, you are going to learn from the best. So, let's give this a shot ...first off, you need to call your pokemon upon the field. This means ...making it clear your pokemon knows as well as your opponent ...that they are battling."
Two screens would pop from the wall as stats would appear on screen. It would be only one set, since, the newcomer hadn't call out his pokemon yet.
(To start a battle, you need to display your pokemon's stats)

Looking down at his feet, Marco saw the potion that appeared. Marco bent down and picked it up. Looking it over for a second, he looked down at Totodile. Squatting down so he could be closer to Totodile, he held the potion out. "I'm going to need you to drink this. Don't worry about it. I have faith in a." The small blue pokemon looked up at Marco and nodded. "Dile!" He drank the potion down and Marco got back up moving back a few steps. Looking at the enemy pokemon, Marco nodded. "We're ready!" The opponent looked kind of cute, but Marco wouldn't take it lightly.
There was barely a sign of a smirk he felt welling up within him as he seemed to take the voice by surprise with his words. At least he wasn't going to be treated like someone who didn't belong there any longer. He had come with a reason, and that reason would take him to the top. Perhaps far further than this disembodied voice ever hoped to go. Running a thumb over the Pokeball he still held in his hand, his eyes centered in on the button at the front that would allow his Pokemon to appear before him. Hopefully it wouldn't be a failure. Well, even if it was, he could always trade it out for something much stronger along the way. When prompted, Ai released his Pokemon, a flash of light was released and formed into the body of a small electric flying type. A perfect combination if he did say so himself.
"Noted," he said to the voice to declare he had heard what he was being told and was ready for the next section of information. If he really was learning from the best, he would absorb every minute detail he was being told. What he was truly interested in was the battle itself though. What Pokemon would they challenge him with? Something simple, or would his beloved new temporary teacher see fit to shove him into a corner with little to no chance of his Pokemon's survival?
The voice would ask ...as the Audino would slap his own forehead before crying out loudly.
"AUD....noooooooo."
"Oh that's right ...I am going to battle you. So, let's get started ....since both of our speeds are equal we both attack, and the one who hits ....well ...they hit, while the loser gets to attack again."
"Good luck."
"Audino, use pound."
He calls out loudly as the Audino smacks one paw into the other. A flick of one ear, and the pokemon would come forward in a swift rush as he drew back one fist, and aim to pound it quite literally into the snout of the Totodile.
Marco was kind of glad he didn't ask for help with the battle. This voice didn't seem to be the smartest. Anyways, the battle was starting! "Alright Totodile! Let's try catching that fist in your mouth with a crunch attack!" Totodile took off running straight for the Audino as it came at him. Totodile's teeth started to glow as it opened its mouth ready to try and catch the Audio's fist in its mouth. Hopefully this would work!
The voice declares as his own pokemon step out of the shadows and shook itself all over. The snake would then rear itself upwards ...as it flicks it's tongue out between it's lips, and hisses loudly ....as it looks downwards at it's opponent.
This was going to be a very interesting fight indeed as a Seviper would flick it's tail ....from side to side. He would drag his tail blade against the ground ...as he flicks it through one bloody puddle.
"Now, here is the next part ...you need to have your pokemon drink this potion before the battle starts. Otherwise, I will kill it, and you won't be happy."
The voice seem to take on a different tone as it said those words ..."kill it." It was a tone that made the snake's eyes go to the flying squirrel with a sadistic glint in it's eyes.
"now, after that ...you look over there at the screens. The fastest pokemon strike first, while the slower pokemon will defend. It's a matter of keeping your pokemon from getting it's neck broken by charging straight into an attack it can't possible outrace."
The voice stated matter of factly.
"So, I will be defending while you attack. Any questions so far?"
The voice ask as the Seviper would actually curl up onto itself at those words. The first strike was there ...after the pokemon drunk the potion.

(Everything in this guild is ran by a dice system, to attack or to defend require the dice roll. WE also use mainly the 1d20 system, so pretty much its a matter of what we both roll that determines how the battle is going to go.
In this case, if you out roll me ...your attack will hit. Though if you roll the same or less, my defense will hold up to your attack. WE will discuss dmg next post.))

Maybe the boy should have taken a few lessons as the Audino literally put his fist down the pokemon's mouth ...sending the water lizard into the ground so hard that the mat actually dented underneath him. The Audino would take a few steps back and wipe it's paws together before choosing a defensive stance.
This pokemon was literally taking no prisoners as he showed off his strength in a way that would make anyone wince. Afterall, Audino is known for being a nurse pokemon, but this one ...was showing signs of being something a bit stronger as he dug his feet into the canvas. He was readying himself for the next incoming attack.
The sheer size of his opponent seemed to take the pre-teen Idol by surprise. His Pokemon wasn't too keen on it either by the look on its face. Ai steeled himself and whistled at his Emolga to snap its attention off the beast's size and onto the oncoming battle. He had no time to worry about the size of who he was opposing. It was more about their strength than anything else. Though the Seviper's tail cross a puddle of blood from a previous battle was not helping Emolga's reaction to fighting it.
A potion rolled at his feet from the darkness and he bent down to give the potion to his Emolga without question. He'd rather have his Pokemon alive at the end of this battle than not. Standing back up, his teal eyes found the screen he was directed to and smiled. His Emolga's speed was pretty good for being so weak. Not that it mattered. Ai would have it trained up in no time. His flyer would get first hit in this battle. That could be a deciding factor right from the beginning.
"No questions," he told the voice before moving back a few steps and setting a hand on his hip.This was going to be his first battle, and there wasn't a chance in all the world he would let victory slip through his fingers so early.
"Shall we begin? Emolga, Thundershock!"
Emolga closed its eyes in concentration. Its small hands clenching as it concentrated the electricity within its being and sent a surge upwards and out of itself. It leaped and crackled as it was sent towards its opponent.
Then you subtract your special attack from my sp. defense

Then you add it together to get the damage. Now, be aware that whether you use attack vs. defense or Sp. attack vs. Sp. Defense is base on the attack itself.)

"What the hell!"
The voice would exclaim as the single hit would bring the battle to an end as the Seviper stood there for a moment ... a charcoal mess before collapsing. This match was over swiftly ....and it would seem that the voice was quick to recover from that.
"Cough ..cough ...okay, you won. All thanks to my excellent teaching, now since you won ....you need to head over to the pokelot to gain your land. Also, welcome to the academy ...may you always manage to keep your pokemon alive.
Also, be aware, your pokemon gains experience from each battle. It would seem that this one was enough to push your pokemon to a new level."
The voice points out as the stats went up by one for the Emolga.
For a moment, Ai stood in wonder about whether or not the Seviper had been taken out completely or not since it had still stood after the attack. Then, it fell, and he allowed his shoulders to relax. There would be no celebration since this was simply what he demanded from himself and his Pokemon from the start of the match. Perhaps winning was all in the mind afterall? Well, that was food for thought for a later time. For now, he had other things to do before he could really consider himself a full time student of Akumu Academy. The Furusu male returned his Pokemon to its ball since it was no longer needed.
Listening to the voice as it seemed to recover from the shock of seeing the first time battler win without much effort at all, Ai gave a bow to the body-less voice when it was clear the Battle Room had no more use for him. The voice simply told him the basics of battling, and not everything he would need to learn to assure his victory, but it was a start. For that, he would allow the voice to take credit on his clearly victorious and quick learning student.
Marco watched as Totodile got slammed into the floor by the hit. He clinched his fist a little bit as he stood there. "Don't give up Totodile! We are still in this! Use crunch again!" It took a second but Totodile jumped back up. Glaring at the Audino, it took off running again with it's teeth glowing. It was ready for some pay back time!
(14 - 7 + 8 - 8 = 7dmg (+5 differences in dice = -1 to Audino's def)
The pokemon's fangs would crunch on his arm as the Audino would shake the limb around in pain. The move took him more than a bit by surprise, afterall, he wasn't expecting to run into a pokemon strong enough to actually hurt him ...as he wave his arm around for left to right trying to dislodge the pokemon's jaws from him.
Finally, after his anger had reached it's full limit ...the pokemon would take his other unhamper arm and pound it into the top of the Totodile's skull. He was going to get him off of him now matter what at this point. Then again, hitting something clamp on your arm in the head might actually drive it deeper as the pokemon's eyes would water at it's own attack.
